Holiday rentals with breakfast in Kentish Council

Eagle Nest III is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The view is breathtaking, the rooms are beautiful, and the whole place feels like a dream come true. I was honestly amazed — didn’t expect to find a place this magical. The host was fabulous and gave super clear instructions. The outdoor hot tub is a must — easy to use and perfectly placed to soak in the stunning mountain views. The road to the unit is easy to access, and once you’re there, the peace and calm are unmatched. There’s a cozy fireplace with plenty of firewood, so no worries about keeping warm. Plus, the nearby farm animals (chickens, cows, bunny!) make the whole experience even more delightful. I left feeling refreshed, happy, and already thinking about my next visit. Highly, highly recommended! :)

This is a great place to get away from it all but is only 15 minutes from Ulverstone for groceries etc. .. A number of beautiful forest walks on the property and a relatively short drive to Gunns Plains and Sheffield. The rooms are a good size, each with an ensuite. The shared kitchen and lounge and sin room is great and some great spots around exterior of house to eat and relax. The owner Steve (a brilliant nature photographer - stevesadlerimages.com ) who lives upstairs is very hospitable and has lots of info about the surrounding area if you ask him.

Lindsay was a wonderful host. She was very helpful with information on the local area. Her place was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. There was a lovely outdoor space to enjoy the generous breakfast supplies that Lindsay provided.

Great place to relax and smell the roses. The large bedroom upstairs was perfect, with a view over the pond and the huge window allows you to star watch at night. Echidna wandering the paddock, lots of birdlife and Steve went out of his way to help us spot the platypus in the pond. Steve's wild life photography is superb. Will stay here again

Steve's house is perfect for people who wants to sleep or stay in a peaceful environment. There are great views of the countryside outside the house with plenty of wildlife around. He was an excellent host with plenty of recommendations of things to do while in Tasmania. He was very helpful with any queries we had. I would recommend exercising caution up & down between the gate and the house especially arriving at night. Overall, we have enjoyed our stay and will gladly stay again.

We had a great time, thank you both for the lovely stay! We were able to visit all the animals, room and amenities were great & so was the provided breakfast. Perfect for a stay to visit Cradle mountain & surroundings.

The property is amazing for sure but what made this one of the best airbnb experience for us is the hosts and how friendly they were. Irene took out time from her busy schedule to show us around their beautiful farm. The breakfast included was a bonus!

If you're looking for a place to breathe, relax, contemplate, reflect, play, chat and spend quality time with family and friends, Eagles Nest 2 is perfect. With Mt Roland and a big wide sky as the grand backdrop view from all angles of the house, and with cathedral height windows celebrating every inch of the view, being inside and outside feels seamless. Eagles Nest is an experience. All the rooms are themed and the decor interestingly eclectic. The beds are very comfy. The place is clean. The kitchen has everything one needs. And then there's the outdoor spa (where you run your outdoor bath) tucked discreetly away for a relaxing soak. I think spectacular is the best word to describe the view and the night sky. We even saw a meteor shower from our bed which will be forever etched in my mind, with Mt Roland silhouetted in the background and a squillion million stars twinkling in the night sky (admittedly it was 4.30am - I'd woken to visit the bathroom - lucky timing!). So nice!

Robert is a lovely host and genuinely cares to do his best for the guests. He cooked delicious breakfast for us and was full of stories and recommendations about places to visit nearby. His parrot Taco is very cute and all in all we had a great stay!

Robert the host showed me around the old church and knew some of its history which I really enjoyed. Landscapes artworks throughout the place were really nice to view. Breakfast options great. (The lemon curd yum-yum) Nice herbal tea offered on arrival. Robert seems to know many things to do in the area and has a cosy guesthouse experience with just 6 guests max. Beautiful flower garden he's created too! A great option if you're in the area.

Peter and Susie were the perfect hosts! They were proactive in letting us know that there are no grocery stores or restaurants nearby, so we had plenty of time to buy our own food (however, they offered to cook us dinner). Peter gave us plenty of local recommendations, insider information, when we arrived and they offered excellent hiking tips for Cradle Mountain. The suite was large and in pristine condition. The bed, linens, and pillows were super comfortable (we loved the heating blanket). Lovely toiletries provided and a nice hot shower. We thought the filtered water tap was a fantastic surprise addition. There was also a kettle and fridge in our room, with our personal supply of coffee and tea. The 2 course breakfast was the cherry on top, absolutely delicious. The only downfall, which should not prevent you from running to stay here, is the shower head being a little low and not having the best pressure.

My partner & I absolutely loved staying here after climbing Cradle Mountain! Irene was very welcoming and accommodating to our stay — even helped set up a BBQ for us last minute! We were able to pat the Highland Cows and entertained ourselves with the rest of the farm life on the property The star of the show was the breakfast the next morning. Continental Brekky + Homemade Croissants + Barista coffee and Cafe-style hot Brekky offerings! I would rate this 100/10! Honestly one of the best brekkies I’ve ever had - absolutely loved it

This was definitely one of my favourites stays. Irene and Russell were so welcoming. The house and surroundings are beautiful, the room was so nice and cozy and the breakfast was absolutely delicious 🖤 Thank you both for having us!
