This 1930's house was extensively modernized in 2008 (as featured on BBC1 Homes programme) to provide luxury accommodation throughout. A sunken hot tub in the front decking enjoys the best views of Woolacombe beach. Thorpe is a family home, maintained to a high standard throughout. Step out the front door onto the South West Coastal Path and discover spectacular cliffs, beautiful beaches and woodland walks. 5 min walk to the historic Hartland Quay (and Wrecker's Retreat pub!). 20 min drive to Clovelly. 30 min drive to Bude in Cornwall. High speed wifi. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an outdoor garden equipped with a BBQ and outdoor garden furniture. Stunning, peaceful, bliss.

The house is in the middle of beautiful Devon countryside, on 100 acres of land not far from a small town. There are good pubs nearby and the house is only 7 minutes drive from the National Trust's Killerton House. The Nearest station is Tiverton Parkway, 10 minutes drive. Only 25 minutes drive from the centre of Exeter. One of the UKs most attractive cities. The nearest beach is at least 40 minutes away so this location is not suitable for a beach holiday.
