Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kaukana

The place was perfect for the 6 of us (myself, my wife and 2 grown up children with partners). The description says 2 doubles and 1 twin, but Marco set the twin up as a double which felt like a double. The only slight comments are that: - there were only 5 sun beds by the pool - there was a shortage of glasses - the description says towels for bathroom and pool towels - there was 1 large, 1 medium and 1 small towel each which meant we could either have a large towel for use in the shower or by the pool.

From start to finish, our experience was fantastic. Oriana is an absolutely wonderful host. She is extremely welcoming and helpful - nothing is too much. Oriana greeted us personally upon arrival and showed us around and how a few things worked. She then came back later on with fresh pizza dough - which she went out of her way to source on an Italian Bank Holiday, when most places were closed. She then stayed and helped make the pizza bases, whilst her husband was outside showing other members of our group how to use the outdoor pizza oven. This was far beyond what we’d ever expect of any Airbnb host. Incredible hospitality. The home itself was beautiful. It was so well equipped and absolutely spotlessly clean. It’s also bigger than pictures suggest. The outdoor area is spotless again. I cannot recommend this property, and especially its host, highly enough. I could say so much more but for the character limit! Absolutely amazing stay and we will definitely visit again.

A truly amazing place located by the best view of the Ibla. The hammock in the courtyard was perfect. Giancarlo and Alex were very responsive and great hosts. Thank you for an unforgettable stay in Ragusa.

What a beautiful home. Adriana’s place is peaceful & with stunning views overlooking Scicli. The house is very well equipped, a great place to unwind & has everything you need for a great stay. The pool is just fabulous. We arrived late at night & had no food (there are no supermarkets open after 9pm locally) but Adrianna kindly let us use whatever we could find & a risotto was rustled up. Coffee, milk, toast & marmalade are provided for breakfast the first day which is thoughtful. Scicli is a beautiful town and we enjoyed our morning coffee in Chiosco 'a Funtana which has the best coffee ever - a gorgeous spot. Fresh fish from the local fishmonger is highly recommended too and the little vegetable kiosks by the coffee spot & fishmonger have every delicious vegetable you might need. Thanks Adrianna for being a super responsive & kind host.

Giovanni and Alessia are two perfect hosts. Friendly and discreet. The house was as described, very comfortable to the beach a few hundred meters away, spacious and recently renovated, with two large terraces. Absolutely recommended, equipped with essentials and air conditioning in all rooms!

Biagio offers a very nice accommodation and was always available. I was allowed to spend 6 days in his house and enjoyed every single one. I liked spending long nights in the whirlpool or on the balcony overlooking the old town the most. The city center was very lively and offers good restaurants. In conclusion, it can be said that a visit is worthwhile.

We (6 adults, one toddler) had a fantastic time at the villa! It is very charming, with the perfect blend of historic character and modern amenities. It has everything you need for a great stay. The location is very peaceful and yet well connected. A large store selling groceries and other stuff you may need is a few minutes drive away, and there are restaurants and markets nearby in Pozzalo. We mostly cooked dinner at home since we loved eating outside on the veranda. We also enjoyed the infinity pool. The villa serves as an excellent base for day trips to places such as Siracusa, Modica, Villa Romana del Casale, Marzamemi, and Ragusa. William and Antonella are the most welcoming hosts, and they shared lots of great suggestions for things to do in the area. It was a pleasure meeting them, and we hope to visit again!

We were happy to stay at Lorenzo's place. The place is really peaceful, quiet and restful. You can stroll quietly, choose the best place to settle in for an aperitif, having the pleasure of tasting the very good wine and sausage produced and offered by the owners. The house is also 15 minutes away from Comiso airport. Our only regret is that the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the beautiful pool which is a real invitation to swim! This is a very nice place that I would recommend!

Absolutely amazing stay! We were a family of 11 people (6 adults, 5 kids) and we had plenty of space and everyone had a great time using the pool and the table tennis! Very close to Marina di Ragusa, the beach and a supermarket (8 minutes). Quiet, peaceful surroundings with an unbelievable view of the sea. No surprise that our host Carmelo was also amazing. He treated us like family and truly cared about ensuring we had the best experience and stay in Sicily. He also responded immediately when we had questions or any issues. He made us feel very welcome and at home. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience in Sicily, with a host who really cares about his guests, you will not regret booking this place!

A lovely, contemporary, comfortable home with great showers and comfortable beds. Our only issue was the distance from Noto, on a challenging road, which was much further than expected. Carlo and Stella went out of their way to respond to our needs.

This place is paradise! The property is amazing, the apartement was perfect and the location is great to explore the area with beautiful beaches and citys. The hosts were very nice and gave us helpful recommendations. We loved our time here. 100% recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay in Playa Grande. The location is nicely tucked away and very quiet—no traffic or town noise at all. The pool area was great, with plenty of sun beds and space to relax. Several nice beaches are easy to teach nearby, and we appreciated the secure parking inside the property. The apartment had a large TV and everything we needed. Nearby towns are easy to reach by car and offer plenty of restaurants. All in all, a peaceful and relaxing spot with great amenities. The property offers very good value for money overall.

We stayed at Villadamuri for 10 days in June with a group of friends. The house is in a unique location on the beautiful and private Amber Beach, where the water is warmer than on other beaches. The house is perfect for a group of friends and offers all the comforts of a vacation home. A special thanks to the owners Viviana and Orazio, always ready to satisfy every need. We had a fantastic stay at this villa — perfect for families! The pool is absolutely lovely and completely private, which made relaxing super easy. The villa is clean and comfortable without feeling too delicate, so we could really unwind without stressing about the kids breaking anything. Paolo was brilliant — very friendly and always quick to help with anything we needed. A great, easygoing place for a family holiday. Would definitely come back!

Must stay if you get the chance. Luca was extremely friendly and responsive - he created a chat group before check-in to help us manage the process. He also had a list of recommendations, which we used to guide our first night in the area! House is peaceful and tidy - all amenities were there as indicated. We had no problem finding it (recommend adding the location earlier as there is limited 4g in the area). Highly recommend.

We couldn't have asked for more. The stay exceeded all our expectations. The apartment is charming, tidy, clean and equipped with every comfort. Mrs. Giusi is a kind and always available hostess. We found everything we needed for breakfast and more. We were greeted with an exquisite gastronomic surprise. A very positive experience. The place is close to the center, but also far enough away not to be disturbed during the night.

My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

What a gem!! Francesco’s and Marilena’s apartment is simply amazing. It is well equipped, has everything needed (and more), such a cosy place. We felt home the second we moved in there. Delicious restaurants are in walking distance, also there’s enough street parkings close by, if you have a rental car. Within short drives you can reach various beaches/other towns. We also appreciated the restaurant/beach/visit recommendations by the hosts. We’ll definitely recommend this place to everyone, it’s the perfect place to explore Noto and the surrounding area.

This was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! The host was incredibly responsive — quick to answer any questions and always just a message away with helpful tips and recommendations. The check-in process was seamless, and the space was exactly as described: clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. You can tell the host really cares about their guests’ comfort. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smooth and enjoyable stay. The one-bedroom cabin is located in the property where Lucia leaves. But we felt very private and very welcomed. The cabin is located at the back of the property and we had a lot of privacy. However, if we needed anything, we could always message Lucia who was very kind and available. The cabin is very well equiped and comfortable. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed to prepare our breakfasts and small lunches. The room was also very comfortable. The cabin is perfectly located between Marina Di Ragusa and the city of Ragusa. With amazing restaurants nearby. I can't recommend it enough :)

Beautiful home in a peaceful location. The veranda is the best part of this home, we sat outside and enjoyed breakfast at the outdoor table in the sun, perfect. Location is 20 min walk to the beach (downhill on the way there so quite uphill on the way back!) not loads in the immediate area but there is a Eurospar (shop) with all groceries. Otherwise perfectly fine with a car as within 10/15 min drive you can find a lot. Giorgio was a lovely host, even though he couldn’t meet us he was responsive and helpful. Lovely relaxing stay.

Absolutely beautiful beach location with lovely sand and clear blue waters. Very clean, spacious and well-equipped apartment about 15-20 minutes' walk to the centre of Donnalucata along the beach. We travelled as a couple but would be fantastic place to bring children as sea is calm and fairly shallow. Very responsive host.
