Holiday rentals with a kayak in Kattegat

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kirsten's place! The place was just as charming as described – quiet location, with direct access to the lake and perfectly equipped for our fishing trip. Especially nice was the possibility to take a canoe and rowing boat directly from your own property to the water. Kirsten is an exceptionally warm and helpful host. She provided us with all the important information in advance, was always available and took care of everything with so much love for detail – from boat licenses to maps. Just great! The house was cozy, clean and had everything we needed – including well equipped kitchen, freezer and barbecue. And even little extras like firewood were available. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime! Thank you for everything, dear Kirsten! 🙏🏼

We spent an absolutely relaxing holiday in Pia's small house. It is located in the first row in a holiday home area on Bogeskov Beach and therefore impresses with an unobstructed sea view. Since only a few people were on site during this time (first half of June), we were able to take several absolutely relaxing walks on the beach. The house was furnished and equipped on a relatively small area with a lot of Danish coziness. We lived in the house together. For 4 adults, however, the space would be too small for our liking. The biggest plus point of Pia's house is the winter garden, from which you have a great view of the fjord - an experience at any time of day and in any weather. The conservatory leads to the wooden veranda on two sides, which is furnished and equipped with a grill and parasol. From there, you can reach the beach in just a few steps. We loved these little visits to the sea in the morning and evening. Recovery factor: 100%!

What a wonderful experience in this beautiful beach cottage! Once I arrived, I felt right at home. The cottage is decorated with so much care and eye for detail; it really exudes a relaxed and luxurious atmosphere. The location is of course a dream – waking up to the sound of the waves and a cup of coffee on your own seaview veranda, what more could you ask for? But what really made this place memorable was Dorthe's fantastic service. She is not only incredibly friendly and welcoming, but also proactive and attentive. Her warm personality and the impeccable way she arranged everything made sure my stay was completely carefree.

We were also delighted with the second visit. The house, with the beautiful view of the sea, is simply fantastic. We have taken great trips on the Vejle Fjord with the existing kayaks, observed porpoises and explored the area on foot and by car. The house has everything you need. The kitchen equipment is great and the whirlpool is also great at any time of day. We love it there and will certainly come back. Ole as a host is also very, very accommodating and super friendly in communication.

We had an amazing stay at Imre & Olga’s lake house! From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by their warmth and hospitality. The location is absolutely serene, quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature with the lake just steps away. No neighbors, no noise—just pure relaxation. The house itself is beautifully designed with a cozy, thoughtful touch in every detail. You can feel the care and love they’ve put into it. Whether enjoying a quiet morning by the water or a relaxing evening inside, everything about the space invites calm and comfort. This is a true hidden gem and perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge. We left feeling refreshed and grateful, and we already hope to return! We have been very good in accommodation, it has everything you need to spend a few days near Copenhagen, very good communication with the center and with supermarkets and places to dine very close by. The views are breathtaking and the little things to improve were communicated and talked to the owner, thank you for everything Morten!

Lovely cottage with walking distance down to a beautiful pebble beach. We had a lovely relaxing trip. We walked in the quiet area and bought delicious fish inside the harbor town and relaxed on the lovely tereasse. There was everything we needed. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house! We felt very comfortable here, both in the house and in the beautiful surroundings. We were out on the lake by boat and were even able to catch fish, which was a real highlight. We also made nice excursions to the surrounding area and slept wonderfully every night. The fresh eggs from the chickens were great, and we really enjoyed spending time with the cats, dog Ronja, the chickens and of course your dear cows. We especially liked the loving little things in and around the house, and as a little extra we even found a geocache nearby. Thanks to the warm temperatures, we also dared to go swimming! Large and beautiful house, quiet and relaxing place. Shared land with a tiny house, without neighbors, so you feel like you're all alone. Lake 5 minutes' walk. Good internet connection for teleworking. Garden and environment great for children, lots of games for them on site. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and tested the canoe. We were lucky enough to be able to observe deer at dusk in the nearby field. Daniela is very responsive and kind. She had prepared all the necessary equipment for our baby. Perfect place for families with children and babies.

This is one of if not the best stays I’ve had on AirBnB. The service was fantastic. Mario was very welcoming from start to finish. The food was delicious and the room was very comfortable and clean. There is plenty to do from Jetboarding, walks with views, hot tub, sauna and much more. We are already planning to come back with family. Thank you so much Mario. It’s been a pleasure.

We spent a wonderful week at Petter's house. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, but the kids still jumped into the lake and we enjoyed the slowdown in the house. On calmer days, we went fishing and boating on the lake. It is not far to Malmö and one day we looked at the city. The house is super equipped, the communication with Petter was great and we will definitely come back.

We've had a lot of accommodations through Airbnb, but Raphael and Salli's apartment is just a dream. A large barn in a quiet place in Sweden, wonderfully cozy and peaceful. We were there with our two toddlers and couldn't have been nicer. Great apartment that makes you feel right at home, plenty of space, equipped with everything, a playground right outside the door for the little ones, peace to slow down and the world's best hosts' delicious Bach goods. We'll be back soon 🧡

We (2adults with kids 8 and 5 years old) spent one week in this cozy cottage. We had such a great time full of peace joy and happiness. If you like to enjoy the Sweden nature on its best you need to stay at this beautiful place. The included canoe and outdoor kitchen were absolutely highlights. The lake is not that much good for a fishing trip cause it seems to be empty of fish. Unfortunately. But we saw a moose in the wild instead. The self check in was simple and all the other things you need to know how to use were unmistakeable declared. Thank you both for an unforgettable week

A very well-maintained and beautifully furnished holiday home in a quiet location, decorated in Scandinavian style. The house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Even the youngest guests are catered for; there are children's vehicles and plenty of toys. Shops for everyday needs are within walking distance, and the beautiful, child-friendly beach is also quickly accessible. The house also has a huge terrace and a wonderful garden where the children can relax and play. The garden is completely fenced and not visible from the outside. The hostess gave us a friendly welcome and even gave us tips for excursions. Check-in and check-out were seamless. There is private parking in front of the house. Also worth mentioning are the very comfortable beds; we slept wonderfully; you don't find something like that in every holiday home. We can highly recommend Inger and her house to families and those seeking relaxation.

We loved it here! The accommodation is beautiful and cozy, Fabian super friendly and could even speak German, which we did not expect here. We felt very comfortable and would come back if we were nearby!

We had most enjoyable time at Birgitte and Inge-Golf. Even before we checked in, they provided us with most helpful information about traveling to Oro. The place is cozy with everything you will need, with direct access to the beach. The sunset view is unforgettable and should not be missed.

A cabin in a beautiful place that is very isolated, no neighbors in the area or who can be seen from the cabin and the dog ran around freely. The cottage is exactly what you expect, cozy and of older standard but has everything that is necessary and self check-in. There is a private jetty just a few minutes' walk away. No worries about getting the cottage warm as there are heating elements to turn on in the large living room. The only negative is that the cleaning could have been done better before the visit, otherwise spiders and the like like to find their way to cabinets and places with heat if the house is empty for a period, but understandable considering the location. So short, if you are looking for a cozy cottage in a VERY remote private place near lake and forest walks, you have found the right place, you feel at home right away & we would like to visit the cottage again if we are in the area. We traveled with 3 adults. For this, the accommodation was perfect in location (directly on the lake) and size. Not completely in the middle of nowhere, but quiet and nice with a good neighborhood. Nothing was missing or was broken/defective. The kayaks on site and the rowing boat were nice. The footbridge with the lounge furniture is a dream and has been used a lot. Not a particularly cheap accommodation, but the price is definitely worth it. Thank you Christina for letting us be your guests.
