We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

My mum, daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights and we were very comfortable. We were welcomed when we arrived and the hosts were very responsive. The bedrooms were cozy, we had lots of space, and the view is beautiful. My only comment would be that there are some essentials that would’ve made the stay easier - salt & pepper, roasting pans/trays for the oven, chopping knives, and some bin bags. We would recommend!

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

My group of 8 had a blast at the Gregory Villa. Nice and spacious backyard area that is perfect for relaxing, and plenty of interior space to accommodate all of us. Celine was one of the most attentive and communicative hosts I’ve ever had, offering us tons of recommendations for things to do during the day (and even booking them for our group) as well as providing us with transfer services all throughout the Heraklion area. Highly recommended and hope to return another time!

Kindest and sweetest hosts. Went out of their way to make us feel at home and were always readily available for questions. Location is perfect and close to all the best spots. Private rooftop pool is lovely. Huge thanks for letting us check out late as there was no booking till the following day. It made all the difference in the world to our long trip home!

The best, most luxe Airbnb experience! 🥹 From the epic views and immaculate landscaping (with butterflies everywhere!) to the private pool + tennis court to the incredible suite with comfortable bed, spacious / modern living + kitchen spaces and endless amenities. This place has it all and is in absolute paradise. We were at peace the whole time. We loved the outdoor shower, free laundry, local village bakeries / cafes & restaurants, total privacy, local provided olive oil (made by the host!), and friendly hosts. We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

We had a very nice time in Crete and in Marina's place! There were two of us with a child. In this respect, it was very convenient that Stalida beach is only a few hundred meters away on foot. The three of us could sleep well there and have breakfast on the terrace in the morning. We didn't cook - little elaborate food would have been possible. Parking is free directly on the street. The apartment is lovingly and nicely decorated and it was very clean. Communication with Marina is quick and easy. Arrival also possible with code. So happy to come back, warm recommendation. Nikos was an out standing host - the property was second to none - really pleased I stayed - if I ever go back to Crete, I will definitely stay at this property - thanks again Nikos for being so friendly and helpful, bo5h you and your wife - by far the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at.

She was the best host that anyone could ever ask for. She went out of her way to give us dinner when we had just arrived (at 11pm) cake and gelatin that she had made from scratch and even gave us amazing places to check out all over Crete. Bless your soul Mandy. I will ALWAYS come back should the opportunity arises. Upon arrival the place was clean and ready on arrival. It was supplied with trash bags, a TV, kitchen supplies, even with some food in the fridge (which we greatly appreciated) great WIFI, and even bathroom and shower toiletries.

It was a very pleasant stay. Appartement was neat and everything was there that you need. The first day the appartement was a bit difficult to find, but Konstatinos reacted immediatly with the right location. He welcomed us and showed everything in the appartment. There was a possibility to get the appartment cleaned in the middle of our stay. That was very nice. The beach was 5 minute walk. A lot of restaurants and beachbars to choose from. Check-out was also very easy. In front of the building there is a free, large parking space, sometimes you have to wait a couple of minutes before there was a free spot, but overall we had a spot most of the time. We highly recommend this appartment!! Thank you for this pleasant stay!

My wife and I toured the Villa in the listing, and it was absolutely gorgeous, but we stayed at the single story Villa below and our review will reflect our experience there. One thing worth noting about the listed Villa is that it is two stories, both beautifully appointed. Our single story Villa, a part of the same complex, was beautiful, peaceful, and restful. The Villa was impeccably clean, the space spacious and airy, completely modern and luxurious but without pretense. I could live there year round and count myself fortunate. The location is fifteen or twenty minutes from a number of popular beaches, yet in the countryside far from the noise, clutter, and confusion of the city. The town has everything you need and nothing you don’t. If anything could be better than the villa it’s the host, Manos. Manos is the most friendly and generous host imaginable; a gentleman and beautiful person in every sense. If I have any regrets about the villa it’s that I didn’t book it for longer.

The location is special, we celebrated it. Beautifully located. Totally quiet and a little off the beaten path. We were feeling absolutely safe. The local restaurants were just open at the beginning of May - it's village-like. Car is necessary. The prices fair, the people friendly. Visiting free-living cats. A cat has born her kittens near the accommodation and feels part of the house. The first micromarket is 5 minutes away, in Gazi (10 min) there are larger shopping opportunities. The bathroom is small and like everything about the house lovingly designed. From the height of 180 cm, the use of the toilet requires some flexibility because of the legroom. The house is a dream if you want to relax and come down.

From the very start Georgia was an excellent host; making sure we were greeted on arrival and providing us with extensive advice on activities and food for the local Heraklion area. The place itself was so charming and has obviously had lots of thought and time gone into it. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to everyone.

Having stayed in the area before, a quiet location was the most important aspect for me along with easy access to the beaches and a short walk into Hersonnisos. I couldn't have wished for a better location. The apartment was quiet with little traffic noise, compact and clean. The nearest beach was just a few minutes walk away with cafes and restaurants next to the beach. Hersonnisos itself was about 15 mins easy walk. The garden was a perfect spot for some sunbathing on those lazy days when you didn't want to leave comforts of home. It was an ideal suntrap. I didn't need anything from George on my 10 days, staying at Blue Coast Gardens -Juniper. but he was within easy reach with a whole host of helpful numbers and contacts made available, should have needed to contact him. It was great having a large comfortable double bed with good quality bedding and Aircon if it got too hot at night. All the equipment provided was in great working order, the apartment spotlessly clean. Loved it!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The villa is located in close proximity to a variety of restaurants and supermarkets and is 10 mins walk from the beach. There is everything you need in the kitchen if you wanna cook yourself and also there's a sweet small garden to chill in. Ilias was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Wish I could stay for longer next time.

This was a lovely and nicely renovated little appartement that was less than 20 min drive from airport in a little village surrendered by beautiful hills

We had a fantastic stay at Aiga & Joseph’s. It was so peaceful & comfortable that we hardly went anywhere. The views are amazing & everything was so beautifully presented & well maintained. It was great to relax & read, just cicadas & the sound of goat bells. Aiga was easy to talk to & sent useful information ahead of our visit. We would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful break. There’s no dishwasher or microwave but a good barbecue and everything else you’ll need. Linen and towels are plentiful and good quality. The cafès in the nearby villages, which Aiga recommends, are very good & not expensive. Roads around the house are quite steep but some nice places to walk. Do go to the monastery on the hill behind the house. The monk has no English but you will be made welcome. Skotino Cave downhill is worth a visit - definitely needs boots and torch. You need a car to get there & for exploring further. Take care with maps or Google, roads look ok but some are just tracks.

Well I have been to many places but here we felt being right at home! Newly built very nice and cozy villa with great taste of colors combination. The hosts are nice kind and extremely fast responsive couple, willing to help you in any kind of issue even beyond the accommodation. Respect ! My contact with them was like a family rather then a client. Very nice feeling. Definitely would like to come and visit them again. Good value for the money, I would encourage and recommend to visit once if someone would like to come in the area and wish to feel being at home.
