Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kansai

I liked this accommodation for the beautiful architecture and the concept of living in a cafe. I like beautiful objects and I felt well surrounded with the beautiful handcrafted ceramic cups. It is a secluded place in the mountains. A nice stop before going to Tottori and its shore. I love unique experiences and singular universes. I was well served with this space. I recommend it for people who are looking for peace, in a beautiful and unique environment. 🤍

Chie-san is a great host; her place is tidy and arranged with much detail and love. It's not a modern place, still there is a beautifully refurbished bathroom with a bathtub (which can Heat the water up itself!) and a superb hime cinema. In addition, Chie-san has prepared a very detailed manual of all amenities, and if there are still questions she will answer soon per mail. We loved our stay and were a bit sad we just had booked 3 nights!

Loved staying by the Itadori river, the village is by no means touristy, in fact the opposite, one tiny shop opposite the property, a couple of eating places but they were closed, but in saying that it was great to wander round a "real village", spotted a troop on monkeys up at the village shrine, there was also great bird wildlife. The river valley is absolutley beautiful, we loved the small balcony looking over the river. The place was absolutely spotless and vey well equipped. A car is really needed. It is by a road, although not busy there was a little noise in the early morning but I would certainly stay again.

Aki san's listing is very good, right on the beach in Kushimoto, the house is clean and comfortable, but the highlight is Aki san himself, very enthusiastic, helped arrange the fishing activity the next morning, and personally picked us up at the pier, the fishing experience is also very interesting, I caught 30 fish!! You can also dive, surf, and kayak nearby. The sea is very blue on sunny days, and it's very beautiful There are so many advantages, I have already recommended it to my friends, and I hope to come back and play next time

There was an inn in a natural idyllic place, and I was refreshed! The instructions at the time of entry were also courteous. The inside of the inn was very clean, unique and lovely. I definitely want to stay there again! Thank you!

10/10 – Absolutely Exceptional Stay! This was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. The home is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s also a fantastic place for families with children—safe, spacious, and welcoming. The complimentary bicycles were a thoughtful and fun bonus that made exploring the area even more enjoyable. I've been in Japan 6 times, I have to say this guesthouse experience is one of the best. I could totally be alone exploring myself and the nature. I'll definitely go back some day.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect! The apartment was impeccably clean and cozy, well stocked and we loved the amenities they provided. The hosts were also very clear in the directions and responsive, thank you!

The place was fantastic. The apartment was spacious, elegant, and had all the comforts of home. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was laid out well. The location was also fantastic: very convenient for accessing multiple train stations and only a few minutes from great areas to explore in Osaka.

This was the perfect spot for our short stay in Kyoto. Central enough, but on a quiet street. The room had all that we needed, and we appreciated the free use of the washing machine.

I don't think you can find a place in this location at this price! It was within a 5-minute walk from Keihan Line Station, and the neighborhood was a residential area, so it was quiet and nice. The accommodation was tidy, and most of all, the bathroom was clean, so it was nice to bathe and rest! The host was also very kind.

Keiko was so responsive and gave great suggestions for alternative transportation when our flight was delayed. She also got us snacks since we landed late and knew we would be hungry. We couldn’t have asked for a better welcome to the country. She also helped us with luggage transfer information and assisted us with form filling. The place is very comfortable and has all listed amenities. It is centrally located and has the best host. Many restaurants close by and easy commute to the stations. We would certainly recommend the place for a group of 3 or less.

If you’re looking for simple and clean this is a great choice. A bit of a walk to to train stations, but not too bad.

We had a wonderful stay in this very clean and comfortable home, which had everything we needed—whether we were relaxing inside or heading out to explore. After a week of travel, we especially appreciated having laundry facilities and helpful supplies on hand. The space felt roomy for the two of us, especially compared to other places we’ve stayed in Japan. May and Milan were very responsive, and the detailed instructions made it easy to use the Japanese appliances. The location was excellent, just a 10-15 minute walk to Nishiki Market, with plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby. We’d love to return and would happily stay at May’s place again!

The host is the most amazing and kind hosts I have been across in my 9 years of being with Airbnb. He picked us up from the station since we had large bags and a baby stroller. We had a good time at his cafe where he hosted breakfast for, he also had fruits ready for us when we arrived. The location is also simply perfect in terms of connectivity to public transport, restaurants and supermarkets. We hope we can stay here whenever we visit Japan again.

This air bnb was close to everything we wanted to do while in Osaka. Lots of great restaurants and shops in the area. I also really loved that there was a 7/11 on the bottom floor. I would recommend Summers place to anyone!

we had a pleasant stay. place is near to Namba and Nippombhasi station which was very convenient to move arroud.

Great value for a quiet stay in a traditional neighborhood just off the subway line. Easy access to rest of city. Apartment was spacious and provided a traditional Japanese living experience. Would stay again.

Convenience and cosy place to stay. We stayed here for 9 days. Overall we enjoyed the amenities provided and it's a great location with less than 5 mins walk to subway.
