Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Kandy

Prabath is super nice. He even took us to nuwa eliya bus station. The breakfast is tasty, fresh fruit. The best breakfast I had in Sri Lanka. The location is in the center, easy to access to sacred tooth temple, lake and restaurants. Burger in Licensed is good! We just stayed one night, we should stay another night to have a rest.

The Weir House is definitely one of the most beautiful and pleasant places I have stayed in Sri Lanka. The house is wonderfully designed and decorated, it’s so well done up to the smallest details. We felt so at ease and extended our stay because of that! The staff was amazing, so kind and welcoming. Mr Asiri and his team really took the best care of us and our 1 year old son. Also, the food was the best - compliments to the wonderful chefs! Next time I visit Sri Lanka, a stay at the Weir House will be high on my list. If you love nature, architecture, design and great hospitality - this is the place to be.

The Officers Mess is a superb find, with fascinating history. It's been transformed into to a light, modern, space with a great eye for interior design. Sat on the veranda, the view outside is idealic, and the dogs frisking around on the lawn are adorable. Andrew is an amazing host, and left us feeling like old friends. Nothing was too much trouble, we ate some of the most delicious food we've had so far in Sri Lanka, and left feeling more knowledgeable about this beautiful country, wishing we could stay at the Officers Mess a while longer. Great place to stay for a night in Kandy. Clean and good AC. The staff was friendly and the meals were delicious.

One of the best host i have come across. The hospitality was superb. The food served was awesome. She helped us plan our itinerary and gave us very useful tips.

It is a wonderful, calm and peaceful atmosphere away from the loud town. The lake area is quite beautiful with almost no tourist there. Their yoga place is fantastic and the yoga and meditation classes excellent. We would come again anytime.

Wow, what a hidden treasure. Arjuna and Zane made our stay so comfortable and restful, always willing to talk about the surrounds, tea plantation and beautiful gardens, but also hands-off enough that we felt relaxed. We intended to do some hiking but the weather meant options were limited, but that just meant spending more time in gorgeous surroundings learning about local plants and their uses, hanging out with their 4 brilliant and ultra friendly dogs, and eating lovely local dishes. A small village is just 15 mins walk away, which has some shops for essentials and lunch items. If you’re after a beautiful, restful place for a short break then I really couldn’t recommend Tranquility enough. It was an absolute treat and brilliant value for money.

Accommodation in a very atmospheric building. The excellent and very courteous service of the host is particularly noteworthy. I would come back here immediately.

Absolutely amazing! So happy we chose to stay here. The rooftop apartment and private pool are like nothing I’ve seen before. So much effort has been put into this place. It’s even better than the pictures. Apart from being so unique, it’s very spacious, private, has everything you need and centrally located. The hosts live in an apartment on the ground floor and were lovely. Homemade and traditional breakfast was a bonus.

Loved the place and the view was the best part of this stay !! Definitely worth the money

The room and bathroom were lovely and clean. Hosts are kind, friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, with a great view and close to town by Tuk Tuk. Or walk down the back stairs, down the path, past the temple and arrive at an amazing viewpoint. Easy walk (must love stairs 😉). I enjoyed my stay and would return if ever in Kandy.

We had a real good time there. The view from the balcony is spectacular and the host and his family were really kind. It’s not the most luxurious flat but I would book again. Especially if you take the train from Nanu oya to Ella it’s perfect because it’s in walking distance to the train and you can visit n. Eliya also really easily
