Absolutely beautiful home and wonderful host!! The house was just as pictured! Everything was so clean and you can tell the care she takes in this space. Any question I had, she responded very quickly. The location: it is on a busy main road, so know that there is a lot of noise from the cars if sitting on the front porch but you can’t hear it inside the house ! love that we could walk to the grocery store as well. We felt very safe in the area as well!

This place was great in every respect except that 1. kitchen lacked a pot large enough to cook a pound of pasta in and 2. no water kettle (stove-to or plug-in). These are things that won't matter to people who aren't tea drinkers and pasta cookers. Location was excellent, parking easy, check-in and check-out both seamless.

We chose to stay at Madeline’s home as a family for a nearby graduation instead of booking separate hotel rooms—and we’re so glad we did. The house was spotless, spacious, and felt like a true home away from home. I loved starting my mornings with a run downtown, and in the evenings, we all gathered on the beautiful backyard patio to unwind. It was the perfect spot for our stay, and we’d absolutely come back again. Thank you, Madeline!

Very clean. Very spacious for the amount of bedrooms. Very quiet neighborhood. Parked two trucks with trailers on the side road side of the house. Two vehicles, two side by sides, and a 4 wheeler in the driveway. We enjoyed our stay and had no problem riding up 119 to Ivy Branch and Little Coal River Outlaws. The place was perfectly comfortable and acceptable. Zero complaints.

John’s place was in a nice location, very spacious, and equipped with most of the kitchen must haves! We would recommend you bring extra blankets, towels and trash bags! You will enjoy the space, there are games, a cabinet full of goodies and clean sheets on the bed. Wish we would have found this host/home a few years ago. We have been miserable every time we stay in WV, this place changed that feeling for us! We felt right at home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR COMFORT, PEACE AND PRIVACY! We felt safe here and the location was very convenient!!

This has been my favorite AirBnB stay, both in terms of the apartment itself and the surrounding area. Almost a magical location. The town is very friendly, safe, with some really good local restaurants. The scenery is also top notch. The apartment is better than the pictures. Large, super clean, very comfortable with good WiFi and a large TV. The kitchen was very well equipped. Highly recommend staying here. I couldn’t ask for anything more.
