We absolutely loved our stay at this thoughtfully designed space. Every detail had been considered, making it incredibly comfortable and easy to settle into. It’s was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was the best stocked we’ve experienced in an Airbnb, truly a joy to cook in. The neighborhood was ideal: quiet, yet very convenient, with the subway station just a short walk away. It was also within walking distance to Shimokitazawa and surrounded by great restaurants. The supermarket right by the station made everything even more convenient. It was the perfect home base for our first week in Tokyo as we acclimated. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved this house! Great for a family of four—super convenient location with Lawson, FamilyMart, a grocery store, Starbucks, and lots of good restaurants around. Just a short 5–7 minute walk to the train station. I still think about that curry rice! Yuki was amazing—really helpful and kind. Would definitely stay here again if we get the chance.

A my-home experience at Village Gotanda. Had everything for a comfortable modern living. My family of 4 enjoyed it very much.

What a wonderful home! Chihoko was so incredibly helpful, kind and thoughtful. Recommended restaurants, parks and entertainment! The location was walking distance to DT line and the bus...so it was super easy to explore. And one stop to the bustling Shibuya. At night the neighborhood was so quiet, and the beds so comfortable. Having Lawsons across the street made our jetlag bearable. And having space for our family of 4 to spread out was great. Don't miss this spot! Book it and love it! 5 stars!

It's a spacious apartment for Tokyo, and it's close to the subway station and convenience store. The only thing is that the curtains are not very opaque, and people sleeping in the living room may need to bring their own eye masks. Other than that, all the amenities, listings, locations are great. Very clean too!

Kumiko is a wonderful host who will help you with anything you need, whether providing snacks, taking you to and from the station, or helping with suitcases. The place is very clean and the location is a great location that you can easily travel anywhere to. Her two pets make the stay a 12/10 as well

Me and my mother visited Hachioji to search for her long lost friend. The host was extremely flexible and friendly when accommodating us and provided all that we needed. She even assisted in my mother tracking down her long lost friend, which see lost all contact with 30 years ago. We ultimately found her and had some memorable moments. The hosts flexibility and assistance was crucial in this process. Regarding the housing, she was extremely friendly and had a very comfy and homey feeling house. Would definitely recommend, as she is a kind person 🤗!

My stay at Kai's guesthouse was one I'll remember for a long time to come. Pictures don't do justice to the private room I had which came attached to a beautiful reading nook surrounded by greenery. The common spaces are modest but very clean and I noticed lots of art throughout the home. The location is a great base for hiking Mt Takao and the town centre is quaint and feels very neighbourly. Kai is a helpful, kind and accommodating host and I gladly recommend his home to anyone who loves being surrounded by nature.

I had a wonderful two-week stay at Kumiko and Hirokazu’s Airbnb. They’re kind, engaging hosts who speak good English and are happy to chat about a variety of topics. I was picked up and dropped off at the bus station, and Kumiko even gave me rides to nearby stations when it fit her schedule. Upon arrival, I received a helpful guide with instructions and tips on local sights. The home is spacious and clean, with shared facilities that felt far more comfortable than a typical hotel. I also enjoyed spending time with their sweet pets. Fast Wi-Fi and streaming services were a nice bonus. Machida is a pleasant city, well-situated for day trips to Tokyo, Kyoto, Kanazawa, or Mt. Fuji. Most of my questions were easily answered, and I received great recommendations for places to visit. Extras like access to an e-bike, basic groceries, and the option of delicious home-cooked Asian dinners (for a small fee) made the stay even more special. The value for the money here is incredible!
