As someone who’s constantly traveling for both work and leisure, it’s rare to come across a place where everything is so well thought out that there’s nothing to comment on, in the best way. This is genuinely one of my favorite stays. The location and views are magical and the attention to detail across the property is impressive. The pool and garden were always perfectly maintained and for a mountain spot, it’s not easy to find such clear, bug-free water. The team on site was great, always helpful without being intrusive. The food at the restaurant isn’t fancy but it’s honest, home-cooked, and made with care. Thank you for everything, I’d definitely come back and already started recommending it to friends.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, well-kept, and lovingly furnished place. Everything you need is there. The host was super friendly and gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and the surrounding area. Upon arrival, the fridge was already stocked with drinks, fruit, and other items, so there was no need to go shopping on the day of our arrival. It was a perfect stay, and we would love to come back.

Anna und Andreas sind phantastische Gastgeber. Eigentlich halte ich mich mit Bewertungen zurück, aber die Unterkunft und die Gastgeber sind einmalig. Die Location ist einmalig und für eine kleine Gruppe von vier Personen phantastisch. In der Nähe gibt es ein kleines Dorf in dem es neben einem Supermarkt und Bäcker auch eine kleine Taverne gibt. Zum Strand sind es ca. 15 Minuten. Anna und Andreas sind immer erreichbar und geben wertvolle Tips für Ausflüge, Restaurants und alles andere in der Region. Wir werden garantiert noch einmal versuchen in der Villa und den Gastgebern vorbeizuschauen.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa in Crete! The location was absolutely perfect—centrally positioned on the island, it made exploring both the east and west sides, as well as all the nearby towns, super convenient. The house itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported throughout our visit. The grounds were impeccably maintained and much larger than the photos portray. One of the highlights was the charming taverna right next door, and there were plenty of other great restaurants less than 10 minutes away by car. The warm hospitality from everyone we met made it feel like a true home away from home. We can’t wait to return one day and would wholeheartedly recommend this villa to anyone planning a trip to Crete.

Both Ioanna and Spiros were great hosts. Incredibly welcoming and responsive. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa was beautiful, the views from the pool amazing and it was easy to drive to the old town within 6 minutes. The walk to the beach was about 15-20 mins which we did once. I’d highly recommend this villa and the hosts. 😊

We had a real jaw drop moment walking into this Villa with the sun setting over the mountains. It was a beautiful place, Very remote. We had plenty of space for 10 people. We had really good communication with our hosts. We enjoyed some lovely food in the local village Kalyves down by the beach. I would highly recommend this Villa if you would like somewhere to relax with your family or friends, and enjoy a view you will never get bored of.

Beautiful villa and close to good restaurants and beach. Maria and Mr.Sifis where great hosts, easy to get in touch with and really welcoming. The only downside with our stay was the grass where the sun beds where at was really high and should have been taking care of and the beds were hard. Other than that an amazing villa I would recommend!

What can i say to sum up our stay, absolutely spot on, George made contact with me just after the plane landed asking our arrival time, Clair, Georges wife greeted us at the villa and ran through the usual.(very helpful) Also the cleaner was very attentive to our needs. The village itself was just a 5 minute walk up a slight hill. we found a local bar and restaurant, a small mini market and a slightly larger mini market. The food and hospitality from both the bar and restaurant were very good. We spoke to a few ex pats and gained good information of places to visit and eat around the area. We also got introduced to Paulos local taxi driver, Paulos was at our beck and call all holiday (Family of 6 so a 9 seater taxi) He drove us to various locations even sorting out a breakfast for us one morning with a view looking over the sea. (what a top bloke) I can highly recommend a stay at Ayla villa to chill out for the week. Thank you George and Clair

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in der Villa Mystique in Chania und können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Die gesamte Verwaltung sowie die Hilfe vor Ort waren wirklich erstklassig – freundlich, professionell und stets hilfsbereit, was unseren Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos, und wir fühlten uns jederzeit gut betreut. Die Reinigung des Hauses und des Pools wurde regelmäßig und zuverlässig durchgeführt, sodass wir uns immer in einer sauberen und gepflegten Umgebung aufhalten konnten. Das Haus selbst ist wunderschön eingerichtet, modern und komfortabel – es fehlt an nichts. Besonders beeindruckend ist der atemberaubende Blick auf die Bucht von Chania, der uns jeden Tag aufs Neue begeistert hat. Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! Amazing home.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. Die Unterkunft war besser als erwartet. In Realität wirkte alles größer als auf den Fotos. Wir waren deshalb positiv überrascht. Der Blick auf Meer und Berge war schön. Die Gastgeber bemühten sich sehr und kommunzierten wunderbar. Wir könnten uns vorstellen, wieder zu kommen.

The villa was absolutely stunning and had been designed with such an eye for detail. The villa was also immaculate and cleaned regularly throughout our stay. The villa itself had everything you could possibly want, the pool and hot tub were exceptional and the facilities were just as pictured. The games room was a particular favourite of ours. The host was also fabulous! He met us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Providing everything we needed to get settled as well as for our little one! We cannot wait to stay again! The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

This is the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in, like a 5 star hotel. The villa is beautiful and luxurious. Everything is new and works. Christina the host is amazing, very helpful. Each room has a well sized bathroom with a great shower. A breakfast basket was left outside at 8:30 am each morning - delicious! The kitchen is spotless and has all the tools you’ll need. There’s a BBQ. The villa was cleaned midway and the cleaners did a great job. It is quiet and secure. We slept well. The outside space is stunning. The pool is a constant 1.5 metre depth so perhaps not suitable for very young children. The local village is small and very friendly. There’s a great shop 10 minutes walk away, and next to that is a good restaurant (taverna). You definitely need a car here but I’d recommend you have a car anyway to explore Crete. The coastal town of Almyrida is 10 mins drive away with restaurants and shops. Chania and Rethymno are approx 45 mins drive away. Both have lovely old towns.

Michael was an excellent host, very responsive, very friendly and proactive. Pearl of Plaka was spacious, clean, quiet and peaceful with a good sized shared rarely used pool while we were there. Fabulous location within a 4 minute stroll of the centre of the village with a selection of restaurants and well stocked supermarkets. Loved waking up to the cockerel crowing and chickens clucking.

The photos don't really do this properly justice. The setting is truly amazing, it's a comfortable space. We had an amazing time. Fit and finish on a few things could be dealt with but very minor things that didn't cause any trouble with our stay. The cleaners came to empty bins and change sheets regularly. You will definitely need a car to get to and from the property.

We had a great time. The hosts were very responsive and always keen to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The villa is in a great location close to the local town which has a number of good tavernas. Plenty of places to sit and relax outside and enjoy the great view.

This is a spectacular villa and easily matches the photos. One unexpected feature was that one of the two pools was shallow for the kids. That meant they could stand by themselves and they would play in it all day. The adults loved just lying in it too! Nikos was a great host. He welcomed us on to the property and was extremely responsive with our questions. He even delivered extra pool toys and Greek treats during our stay. The area is very private with a short drive to supermarkets and some classic waterfront restaurants. It’s also convenient to get to Chania airport. We loved our stay here as two families, it exceeded our expectations and would strongly recommend.

Wir hatten einen super schönen Urlaub in der Villa. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es fehlte an wirklich gar nichts. Der traumhafte Blick auf die Berge und aufs Meer hat uns jeden Tag begeistert. Die Hauseigentümer Patrick & Jose haben uns mit vielen regionalen Informationen versorgt und waren immer für Fragen erreichbar. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We had a lovely stay at Stelios Villa. Incredible beautiful surroundings, it’s a short walk into Kalyves, we didn’t realise until day 3 but there’s a small parade of beach bars and restaurants if you walk a bit further than we had been for first 2 days. The stay was lovely, the house was beautiful. We really enjoyed the village and it’s relatively slow pace. Stelios was very responsive to messages and very helpful too.

Så nöjda. Vackrare än på bilderna. Vi är jätte nöjda med semestern. Fick massor av bra tips på restauranger o sevärdheter. Hjälpsamma o svarade snabbt när vi hade frågor. Hela familjen var supernöjda med semestern.
