Old house/trip to meet the good old Katsuura/fishing spot/near the beach

This is a "very old building" that seems to have been built in the early Showa era. It used to be a dried fish shop. It is a long row house with a very unique construction. There are inconveniences everywhere, such as the tatami mat just outside the entrance, the strangely small living room, the steep stairs, and the slightly sloping second floor. We've self-renovated it to make it more comfortable while still retaining the atmosphere of that time. * Rest assured, the electrical work was done by a professional. The location of the accommodation is just behind Katsuura Asaichi-dori Street, and is in a good location because it is along the shopping district. It's close to Katsuura Port, so you can easily go fishing. In the morning, you can buy fresh vegetables and dried goods at the morning market, take a break at a locally famous coffee shop, visit a nearby temple, or bathe at Matsu-no-Yu, the oldest public bath in Chiba Prefecture! There are also various reasonably priced bars with good atmospheres nearby. Try Katsuura Tantanmen too! 7-minute walk to Katsuura Chuo Beach. The nearest supermarket is "Veisia", 4 minutes by car. The nearest convenience store is 7-Eleven, a 5-minute walk. Katsuura Station is a 9-minute walk. Please bookmark it if you like♪

I turned a detached house next to my mother's house into a small guest house. This accommodation is a simple, one-group-only accommodation with a slightly nostalgic scent of Showa. From the second person, it is 4,300 yen. Please feel free to use it with your friends or alone. There are dogs and cats on the☆ premises, so if you don't like animals can't be used. From the☆ parking lot, you walk a narrow path that cars can't pass through for 2 minutes, there are slopes and stairs. (There are two sets of three steps) The ☆back is a forest, so we clean it carefully, but I think it is difficult for people who don't like insects to stay. There are no supermarkets or convenience stores within walking distance of the☆ accommodation. We recommend that you do your shopping before you check in. It is a little inconvenient, but it is a quiet environment. Please feel free to use it as if it were your own small villa. ☆Barbecue equipment rental is 2,000 yen. Please clean up and enter the room by 10 pm. * Food ingredients are not included in the price.

It was a very satisfying stay. We stayed as a family of 3, and although it looks like an old house, the inside has been beautifully renovated, and it is a comfortable space with a mix of old and new. The water area was also cleaned, and there was nothing to worry about. My wife was also very satisfied. This time I tried it for one night, but next time I think I will stay for consecutive nights. As a note, WiFi is difficult to connect to, so I don't think it's suitable for people who need it.

Joe is friendly and helpful. Not only proactively recommended us nice food to eat and places to go, he and Chiyomi even took and guided us to a local place where we could not find online to see fireflies, which happened to be the best observation month during the time we stay. During our stay we were having trouble setting up the washing machine, Chiyomi promptly showed up and helped. I would definitely recommend stay in Joe's property. A cozy house and nice host indeed!

I stayed at an inn along the Isumi River. The weather was also blessed, and I was impressed by the lush scenery on the north side and the scenery on the south side. This time, the owner of the facility came in person and explained the concept of the facility and the process of its completion. Just knowing this story further enhanced the quality of my stay. If you are staying at the inn, you might want to offer it to the owner. The optional agricultural experience and the pesticide-free vegetable dinner were very delicious and unforgettable. Thank you for a valuable experience.

Adeyto was lovely and extremely attentive to all my needs. The place itself was so well cared for that I hardly needed anything extra. There are beautiful paths lined with flowers and trees that lead to the beach, and walking to the supermarket along these scenic routes and the shore—about 15 minutes on foot—was a wonderful experience. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway outside of Tokyo, I highly recommend this space!
