Natalie has been a superb host. She is very thoughtful and extremely helpful. She assisted us with receiving our luggage at her property and offered to assist with our luggage when we left. She met us before leaving to the next city. Her place is very beautiful. It speaks a lot about Japanese culture and gives you an insight into the local Japanese home in Kyoto.

what a gem i was able to find! instructions were so clear and host was quick to respond. The area was amazing, there's a lovely bakery that I was obsessed with near by as well. close to the station so vetting there was easy. The place was so beautiful as well, very old school but made you feel right at home. Would definetly recommend 👌🏽

Our family enjoyed our stay here. Small friendly neighborhood. Lots of great food a few minutes away. Highly recommend this place and service given by Yusuke! If you come to Kyoto this is the place to stay!

Very satisfied with this homestay experience, Harry's house is so excellent, two floors above and below, the rest and leisure space is separated, equipped with projection and sound, and the lighting design in the house is also very cozy.The house itself is a very traditional Japanese house with a refined little yard, at the same time it is conveniently equipped with a very modern home appliance system. Harry is very nice, he came to the bus station to pick us up, and also recommended very authentic daily materials, and I will come to Kyoto again next time I come to Kyoto!

This house is lovely awesome and perfectly clean. Our stay was wonderful and more worth the price. The private onsen inside the tiny Japanese garden is beautiful. The location is very quiet, near the river and less 5 minutes by walk from the station and konbini. Everything you need is provided inside the house, so you don’t have to worry about

Wow, a great little house in a quiet area. We've been so happy to stay at Mayumi's place, where everything was just fine. And a host who was sweet and communicative. Definitely a huge recommendation!

This cozy home is just 2 mins walking from the historic resort Toji Temple and 8 mins walking to Toji station which is convenient to everywhere we want to visit. This entire home is very quiet and charming. It’s a typical Japanese style decor inside and has everything we need . I’ll strongly recommend here to everyone who wants to explore Kyoto.

I had a wonderful week here. It's quiet and peaceful. The room is very tidy. It's a traditional Japanese style. Transportation is convenient. It's a 5-minute walk to the bus stop. You can find a large supermarket and some restaurants. There is also a convenience store. It's a good choice to stay here.

Yukari’s listing was just like the pictures. Every appliance worked great, it was very clean, and it’s a very beautiful style.

We were very happy with our stay. Apartment was spacious for the two of us. High water pressure, instant hot water, good AC, adequate kitchen utensils and basic seasonings. Host was responsive and helpful. Having bed linens changed every few days was a nice bonus.

Fabulous Location, easy walk to train station, lovely and clean property, nice fresh linen and great accessories included. We didn't really need to pack a toiletry bag as everything was provided. Our Hosts even provided a complementary cold bottle of bubbles, a very nice unexpected treat. Many thanks Hosts. We would highly recommend this property.

I stayed at Hanare's place with my two daughters (ages 18,19) and it worked out great for our trip to Kyoto. The place is really well done and has a great feel to it. My daughters really appreciated that they each got their own bed and that the AC worked very well. There is AC downstairs and in the bedrooms but the entrance and the upstairs hallway do not have AC. It wasn't a big deal but the hallway could get pretty warm. The only bathroom is on the first floor and the bedrooms are on the second floor. My only warning is the staircase, I would say it's more of a ladder. We were fine with it but it was definitely interesting getting the luggage upstairs. If someone in your group has difficulty getting around it might not be the best place. We used several of Hanare's recommendations and they were great. It's right by the main cobblestone street that leads up to the Kiyomizu-dera. We really enjoyed our stay and liked that it had a very clean modern yet traditional Japanese style.

Easily the best Air BnB I've stayed at in Japan! The place was clean, quiet and convenient. MM-san also helped accommodate several things for me and my group. Thank you for letting us stay and we'll be back! ♥️

This is the perfect spot in Kyoto. Great neighborhood, walkable to great restaurants and shopping. Place is wonderful. Indoor/outdoor curated miniature garden is fantastic. Each room is thoughtfully appointed with little details to make your stay great. Host is responsive and so helpful. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay with family and friends from all over the world. 20 of us stayed and we had plenty of space. We felt right at home. Very convenient location, near Kyoto station but far enough to be in a quiet local area, with small bars and sento! Thank you for being a great host!

Great place and peaceful. I also enjoyed the neighborhood with the narrow roads and the traditional look of some of the houses made the place feel more authentic.

We really enjoyed the location and feeling of the home. It’s easy to get everywhere. It’s a perfect retreat to come back to after a long day of sightseeing.

HiMoewYa is a good host, answered our questions very promptly, even when we asked for a mosquito repeller, she sent us a variety of choices. I will recommend to my friends.

If you’re asking yourself whether or not it’s worth it to book here— the answer is an absolute YES. It is truly one of the most beautiful homes we’ve ever stayed in. The outdoor tub is heavenly and was the best way to beat the summer heat during our stay. The beds are so comfortable, the house was the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever seen (and I’ve been lucky enough to stay in many excellent ones!), and the location is prime for anything you might want to get up to. We couldn’t be more grateful to have experienced Kyoto for the first time here! Truly the most peaceful place to stay in the most peaceful city. Also, the AC is the crispest I’ve ever been in, which was a must. Great all around!

We had two wonderful days in this accommodation. Since Kyoto is so beautiful, unfortunately we could not spend as much time in this great house as it deserves. That's why I bathed at three in the morning in the small private onsen with a view of the garden and spent little time sleeping. Everything was very clean and cozy. Thanks a lot!
