absolutely LOVED Dorene and John’s getaway cabin! it’s very clean, and has a homey feel. they have anything you would absolutely need including, a bunch of dishes, towels, lots of extra pillows and blankets, and stocked on paper towel and toilet paper. their cabin is peaceful, we didn’t really see any neighbors but the group we did see were very friendly! this place was absolutely gorgeous, i definitely recommend!!

We loved the property of this cabin. It was beautiful and well maintained. The river was one of my favorite spots to read or have my morning coffee. There were many perks and amenities to this place that weren't listed online, like hammocks, campfire pokers, blow-dryer, yard games, fire pit, folding chairs, plastic storage containers, etc. And I loved all the buffalo plaid decor all around. The signs and decor were really nice too, So much to look at. My family had plenty of room inside the cabin to sleep and have their own space. There was also lots of outdoor seating and space outside on the property to come together for dinner or games. Nina was very responsive and gave clear instructions for entering and leaving the property. She was polite and made our stay pleasant. We would stay at this property again.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! The hot tub was perfect to relax and enjoy the nature around. We seen several deer on the property. The house was accommodating and had all the basics. We appreciated the firewood as the days and nights were chilly and we love to cook on the fire. Communication with the owners was easy with quick responses.

Great place & great hosts! Our family had a nice weekend in such a convenient location!! If in the area, we would love to stay again.

We loved our stay at Wildwood Lodge! The property is on a barely traveled road and feels secluded (only one neighbor is visible but it does not impede on enjoying any of the hang out areas). The house was really well appointed with amenities (towels, kitchen gadgets/utensils) and was kept very clean. Loved the oversized couch to hang out on and then front porch for morning coffee. The small front fenced in area was perfect for our pups. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful cozy house, very comfortable, especially the beds/pillows. All the amenities were great. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the sauna.

Nice cabin in the woods. Hot tub works but could use a new control panel. Inside is what we expected and more. Comfy beds. two fire pits outside. if you have small kids like us be aware there is a steep drop around one side and partly behind the cabin thats pretty close to fire pit. If i decide to stay near baldwin or go hunting the state game area i will deffinitly be back here. not the cleanist place but for the price im not even gonna conplain. wasnt terrible but could have been dusted and swept up a little more. i just grabbed the broom in the bathroom and used the shark vaccum on arrival and when we left. its not nasty dirty so dont take me the wrong way. for the price conpared to similar cabins and what we got out of it i feel its worth it by a long shot. Shelby has great communication. Thank you!

We stayed this weekend to break up the dullness of winter. Our kids loved the cabin and the clubhouse. It was such a cozy space to relax. I loved the wood stove! I would recommend to my friends!

Our family loved the time we had at Todd’s cabin, it was exactly what we needed. The cabin is in a very peaceful, quiet setting. The beds were very comfortable, both adults and kids loved the jukebox and games, and being able to have a kitchen that was equipped with all the pots/utensils/things we needed was huge. It made cooking at the cabin for ourselves a breeze. Todd was a great communicator and we had no issues during our stay at all. Thanks again so much!

Cute and comfy cabin! Private and serene location in the woods. Hosts were very responsive and flexible. Rustic feel yet modern comforts. Very nice new bathroom and updated appliances. Nice fenced-in yard surrounded by nature. Very clean. Very minimal to zero cell phone service but nice to escape that.

Nice spot, perfect for our needs - fishing the au sable river nearby. Good beds and furniture. Kitchen was spartan but totally adequate. Out in the woods, whitetail deer wandering on property. Beautiful pine forest. Very secluded but easy to find.

Our family enjoyed our stay! We were able to swim kayak, bonfires and grill all in one stay ! Driving distance to torch lake was extremely close. Village market was just 2 minutes from the cabin and wonderful just down the road. I would recommend a stay with Emily !

this was our 3rd stay at Troy's cabin and once again our family was pleased. we do a winter vacation, skiing and snowmobiling. I highly recommend this place based on location and the property amenities it offers. the driveway is narrow and if you have a trailer bigger than a 3 place it will be tight when there is a lot of snow. 4x4 vehicle highly recommended in the winter.

This place was awesome for my partner and our two dogs. We had plans in Traverse City but decided to stay in, cook, and take in the countryside. We definitely want to stay here again. Host was awesome, responsive, and very flexible and accommodating. We would definitely recommend. 10/10

Such a cute cabin! So clean! Loved the pool table and the lake within walking distance!

We had a great time there. It was very clean. It felt very cozy. It has Great Internet to watch movies and had good cellular service. They are very responsive on msg if we had any questions. They even msg us to ask if we had any garbage that needed to go for their trash day. They came over and picked it up. 👍 This was are 4th Rental in this area. This is are #1 We plan on coming back up this summer for a few days. We definitely will be coming back next year for deer season again. Thanks again 👍

We're a family that loves to fish, kayak and observe nature. This place had it all. It was so easy to sit back and relax and escape from the chaos of life. Just enough space . We can't wait to come back and bring friends.

Chelsea‘s cottage was a great, cozy, clean northern retreat. We will definitely be back!
