If you're someone who loves solitude but yet homely and loved, you'll love Michelle’s place. Located in a lovely and quiet surrounding, it was such a great retreat for us (we are from Delhi). People are extremely sweet and courteous especially the caretaker Ranjeet and the housekeeper. Would love to book the space again when traveling to Gangtok. Would also love to recommend the space to all near and dear ones, for sure.

This place is absolutely stunning with breath taking views and surrounding and has all the required amenities and the property is very beautiful and located very close to MG Marg. The host took care of us very well and their complimentary breakfast is something which we love so much, it’s absolute delight. If you are planning to visit Gangtok this place should be your natural choice, felt as if we were at home. This place is recommended for couples and families and this place ticks all the right boxes to be one of the best AIRBNB we ever stayed. We look forward to visit again to explore north Sikkim. We were looking for a quiet corner in Darjeeling - away from the bustle and chaos of the Mall Road. Gurjeeb's place is perfect for that. It's located about 3 km away from the Mall Road, which gives it the kind of quiet and serenity we were after. One needs to drive about a minute down from the main road and then take a flight of stairs to reach Gurjeeb's place so if you want very easy accessibility, this is something you should consider. But the property itself is worth the effort. The room in the attic is big and pretty, with all basic amenities available. A special shoutout to Gurjeeb's cousin Sujan who looked after us very well and took care of all our needs. He helped us get our luggage up and down the property - which would have been a hassle otherwise - and made amazing local food for us. The Happy Valley Tea Estate is a 10-minute walking distance from here and it's quaint, quiet and amazing. Loved the overall vibe of the place and will love to return in the future.

Had an amazing stay. The property is new and everything was spick and span. We were welcomed with steaming hot cups of tea on a cold rainy afternoon and felt right at home. Sherab is an excellent host. Always responsive. Would definitely visit again! 😀

It was a Memorable stay at kessang’s homestay…extremely peaceful & pristine environment, surrounded with forest, organic farms…home cooked meals made from local ingredients…he is a great chef, I enjoyed every meal he prepared…perfect place if you are also travelling with your pets….lots to do around, places to visit….overall had a wonderful stay here….will visit again…

I spent 21 days at Nakeema. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to reconnect with myself. The place is exactly how it looks, honestly I’d say it looks better than the photos. Leaving the gorgeous abundant greenery and majestic mountains alone, just the stay there has been like home. They were tuned into every need and didn’t leave anything wanting. Can’t describe how delicious the food is— everything you eat is straight from their farm. Pranita was very conscientious of my gluten restrictions and would whip up innovative recipes that could honestly make me cry at how yummy they were. Pro tip : stay open and allow the hosts to feed you what they want. Pranita is highly intuitive and she won’t disappoint. Overall, the days spent at Nakeema feel like a much needed nervous system reset. Pranita and Deepak are some of the most loving and kindest people I’ve met. I am still recovering from my stay there and I miss it a lot already. Can’t wait to go back. Love to this place always.♥️

The stay was exactly like I'd longed for. Comfortable and safe for solo women travellers. I shared the space with the kindest host who respected my privacy at all times. She was very helpful with everything and recommended some nice places to visit nearby. The staffs were quite responsive and friendly as well. The view from the room was breathtaking and the weather was just right. Surrounded by warm people and sumptuous home cooked meals, it felt right at home. I recommend this place for all women travelling by themselves.
