Great mountain hikes straight from the yard, beautiful bathing water nearby and nice safe bike paths in the area. A cozy cottage with an ocean view in a tranquil island, a place where you can start to explore the beauty of Vesterålen. My husband and I started our project in 2017 and finished it in the end of July 2024. I’ve been obsessed with the bay window where I can see the beauty of the view through all the seasons which give me such a different moment in every season to take on. I would love to share those moments with all of you. Welcome to our place and make your own memory to bring home.

Et koselig lite rom i en fredelig hage for den/de som ikke er alt for fancy, men ønsker et billig tak over hode. Bilen har varme, gass komfyr, enkelt kjøkkenutstyr, feks kniv, rivjern, bestikk, gryte og stekepanne. Fri tilgang på simpelt toalett innendørs, uten dusj. Ingen kjøleskap. Min partner og jeg har sovet sammen i bilen mange ganger, men er ikke king size som man kan se. Jeg er 187 cm høy. Bilen er avskiltet og står pent og rolig i hagen, derav garden edition.

Kos deg sammen med din kjære eller gode venner på dette hyggelige stedet mellom Svolvær og Kabelvåg. Fantastiske turmuligheter rett utenfor døren, en tur i marken eller bare nyte utsikten utover havet mulighetene er der. Museum og akvariet ligger 2 km unna. Du kan nyte et godt måltid eller bare rusle rundt på kaipromenaden i Svolvær eller ta en shoppingtur. Ha base her og kjør rundt og nyt alt det flotte Lofoten har å by på av natur å matopplevelse.

Welcome to Lofoten and our home! Our new home (2019) is located a short 15 minute walk from the center and shops of Kabelvåg, and we think it is an ideal base for any exploration of Lofoten. After years of travel ourselves, we have taken care to set up the house with practical and personal touches, and you should find what you need to be comfortable while away from home. We next door, and would be happy to welcome you to our part of paradise.

The studio/studio is fully furnished, with a private entrance. Living room is also used as a living space, and contains bed, sofa bed, large wardrobe and table. The kitchen contains a stove, hobs, coffee machine, cups, plates, cutlery and kitchen utensils. Bathroom contains sink, closet, toilet and shower cubicle (90x90). The studio is equipped with linen and towel.

Tiny house at heart

Our place is in a peaceful neighborhood in the small fishing village of Melbu. At the very heart of the region of Lofoten and Vesterålen. Our tiny house is only a short walk from the charming town center, the seaside, and most importantly, the majestic Norwegian mountains.
