Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Joshua Tree

Beautiful home. Sally was a great host. Sally’s home was everything we wanted for our stay in the desert. She has obviously put so much thought and effort to the way the home is decorated with a warm, desert-modern style that made us feel right at home. The views from the property are stunning, especially at sunset. Sally was incredibly welcoming and responsive throughout our stay, making everything easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the area!

Britt’s place was literally perfect and everything we were looking for. Peaceful and private, everything was cozy and felt like home and we were also super close to the national park, thrifting, and everything else we wanted to do. We’ve already talked about when we want to go back!

We absolutely adored our stay at Kashmir. The serene setting was utterly magical and the house was beautifully and thoughtfully done. We loved hanging out in the hot tub and watching the stars in the evenings and sitting on the patio drinking coffee in the mornings. The area is stunning with great views and is very private. The outdoor shower is so fun, sexy, and such a vibe. We were impressed by how conveniently located we were as well — despite feeling secluded and rural, we were 15-30min away from basically every adventure we could imagine (including Joshua Tree!). Elizabeth was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to work with. We loved our time so much that we asked to extend our stay; while Kashmir was unavailable, Elizabeth graciously arranged for us to stay at another of her beautiful spots nearby. We really appreciate the flexibility and loved having the extra day in the area. We’re already planning our next visit!!

Had a great stay at this beautiful home. If you’re looking to ground yourself from the rat race we call life and want to ponder the beautiful night sky, this is the spot to do it! Lynn was so responsive, communicative and proactive with local recommendations and check in. I also love the thoughtfulness of including a QR to shop the decor and furnishings as everything is so thoughtfully curated. We had a private chef come and cook for our anniversary here and their kitchen was incredible as well as the scenery. Couldn’t have picked a better spot, it’s secluded yet a straight shot drive to local spots. 10/10 would come back to stay!

This place was a lot of fun! So many unique spaces to utilize in the backyard. I found the host to be unbelievably responsive and helpful. I normally never reach out to hosts but I had a couple unexpected very small hiccups, and they responded almost immediately and offered to have someone come out to help even though it wasn’t necessary. The home was def worth staying at, although I think it would be best for those comfortable with one another, the bathroom is a farm door with no lock, and not very soundproof. But besides that, it has so much to offer. It was very clean as well. Go have a blast! I’d definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sunset house. The house was close to Joshua Tree National Park and restaurants in town. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from their unique viewing deck! The house was exactly as described and as pictured. Neil was super responsive to and friendly. We would highly recommend this home!

The place was great! just as pictured. We had a wonderful night’s sleep thanks to the comfortable mattress and the peaceful atmosphere. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need for cooking. It could be even better with some renovations to the outdoor deck, ideally before summer arrives.

This place provided much needed solace, community, and beauty when we needed it most. Nathan is a truly caring person and host. We are so grateful we were able to stay in this beautiful spot.

Beautiful stay in the desert. Private, stunning views/plants, and lots to do to relax at the property. Just what we were looking for, a desert escape with our two little kids - who loved the pool and swing set. Lots of rabbits roamed the property, which were fun to watch. We star gazed at night and were lucky enough to witness 2 shooting stars and a meteor! Only forewarning is the oven, it is vintage and operates as such! WILL burn your pizza, so watch your frozen pizzas carefully 😂. Would stay again nonetheless!

Had a wonderful weekend stay! The view was incredible, and the host did a great job with the space. World does a great job being communicative and helpful. Thank you for the wonderful stay! I would 10/10 return.

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights, and it was absolutely peaceful. Just what we needed to unwind from our busy jobs. Our goal was to do nothing, and this place was perfect for that. Private location (we didn’t even need bedroom curtains!) and a great layout. We paid extra for the jacuzzi, and it was totally worth it since the water stays cold even during the day. note: only the jacuzzi is heated, not the pool, as stated. Areas for improvement: both rain shower heads had mineral buildup, making post-pool rinsing a bit tricky. We’d read reviews about this and hoped it would be resolved, but it wasn’t. Lots of dog hairs were on the carpets - I am allergic to most of the dog hairs - and was sneezing a lot. Still, we had a wonderful time and would love to come back. Next time maybe with one more couple :)

We had such a great stay at GetawayHaus. The place had everything we needed, paper towels, blankets, pillows, pans, bowls, utensils—you name it. It was super convenient not having to worry about any of that. The whole house was really clean, including the beds, the garage, and even the backyard. Everything was well taken care of. The host was awesome—really friendly and quick to respond any time I reached out. Communication was easy and smooth the whole time. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

My partner and I had a wonderful time at Bianca & Clint’s. The home/outdoor space are beautiful and full of amenities. A convenient walk to the shops in JT, and just a few minutes drive to the park.

Katie's listing was absolutely perfect for our family trip. Her house was spotless, beautiful and spacious. We had the pool heated and it was so warm, kept our 3 kids swimming for hours. Views were breathtaking and it is so peaceful out there. We are making this out spot from here on our for vacations in Joshua tree.
