We stayed here while visiting family in the area, and it was a perfect place to unwind each evening. Everything was as described, and we had plenty of space to spread out. The beds were very comfortable, and the place was squeaky clean!

Matthew’s place was very peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet area with lots of of fun things to do within 25min drive. Always very responsi and giving us great tips. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking in that area and already thinking to be back!

Enjoyed our stay at the house. Our dog did very well too. It was a cozy little place to sleep and relax after a few days out discovering Galena. We enjoyed Lola’s ( close by restaurant for breakfast and Lunch…please try their orange cranberry chicken salad)❤️ Vickie was available and kind. We would stay again. Thank you☺️

This was our second time at Jennifer's place and it was just as perfect as it was the first time. We brought our daughters with us this time, and they slept on the pull out couch and loved it. It was the perfect space for our family. The amenities are a plus. We went to the indoor pool at the Owners Club which was nice and enjoyable and we played the board games one of the nights, which were provided. I highly recommend this place. It's quiet, peaceful, there are walking paths, and it's about 10 to 15 minutes from Main Street. We will definitely be back!

Our family—including me, my wife, our daughter, and our puppy—had a wonderful time. Ginger was very kind and provided detailed information, including how to use the amenities like the swimming pools. The property was clean, cozy, and conveniently located near downtown, where we had a great time exploring. We’d definitely recommend this place to any family and would love to return on our next trip to Galena.

Your place was so Retro!! We loved it !! Needs a fire pit and more outside backyard chairs. We really enjoyed the town and loved the view of the Mississippi River. The park across the street was amazing!!! We had the other guests from the other unit walk into our unit 2 times while we were there.

Joel’s place was absolutely beautiful! It was secluded and peaceful but also very close to down town. I loved drinking my coffee outside in the mornings it was so peaceful! I’d recommend Joel’s air bnb to anyone wanting to travel to galena. I’d go back in a heartbeat! Joel was a great host. He gave us all the information and checked In on us throughout our stay. We had a great time!

We loved our stay in Bellevue. The home was very clean, cozy and fully stocked with everything we needed. The location was great within walking distance of the Mississippi, lock and dam #12, downtown shops, and restaurants. Railroad tracks run right in front of the house and trains did come through, but no loud whistles/horns. If you're a light sleeper, you might hear the low rumble at night when the train comes through, but Kathy does provide a white noise machine and fans that help. The home was perfect for our stay and was close to hiking and biking trails, which is what we love to do.

Beautiful home. Feels very secluded even though there are other homes in the neighborhood. Lovely trails near the home. Owners Club is close to the house - 7 min drive.

My friends and i had an amazing time! The house was very clean! We’re a busy bunch and there was so much for us to do at the house! The location was perfect everything around us was no longer than 10 mins. Lisa was very kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Would definitely stay again it was a blast!

This cabin was the perfect retreat from our busy lives. It was in a peaceful, quiet area with deer and wild turkeys walking through the backyard. The cabin was very clean, inside and outside. The landscape was beautiful and everything is within a short drive from the lake to the local winery to the restaurants on Main Street. We had such a wonderful stay and hope to visit again soon!

This townhome was everything we were looking for and needed. The pictures and description shown on the website were identical to what we saw when we stayed here. The townhome was very clean and had plenty of space for all of us. It is a great pet-friendly townhome that has space right outside to walk the dog. I loved the ease and convenience this townhome had when it came to the check-in and check-out process. I would highly recommend this townhome to anyone especially those who are traveling with kids and pets.

Absolutely amazing stay in Galena! We felt right at home. It was a perfect distance away from downtown, which was easily driveable, and absolutely quiet surroundings. We had everything we needed and was a great set up! Great communication with host and detailed responses about restaurant recommendations, directions to the home and check out instructions. Absolutely a must stay when traveling to Galena!

Catherine was good to work with! Didn’t get to talk too much to her though. Coming from a VERY small town, trying to stay in a city with a lot of people can be stressful and easy to get worked up over. Catherine explained check in and parking very well to not have us stress. The Johnson is located in the perfect spot, walking distance of everything! I read other reviews saying music can be loud due to bar underneath, but we had no problem with noise! One thing I look for and care about the most, is how clean the place is. To say that was accomplished is an understatement. Linens, floor, bathroom, everything was very clean and homie! It was a great stay and we are definitely booking again next time we come! Thank you Catherine!

If you are in need of a reset from the various pressures and stresses of life, I highly recommend securing a getaway to Beth’s Galena Haven property. We enjoyed quiet and tranquil mornings in which we were greeted by the beautiful songs of birds and whistles of wind. Like many, my wife and I needed time away from our busy lives in a much busier environment and this experience was precisely what we needed. Thanks Beth and Family for sharing your home. This is our second time staying at Laura's home and we found it just as clean and comfortable as before. This time we got the chance to use the huge screened in porch and watch the river go by -- what a wonderful spot! This trip was last minute and we were trying to coordinate who was coming and on what days. Laura's communication is amazing. She was so helpful as we were trying to coordinate things and flexible when we needed to extend our stay by a day. This is a great place in Bellevue and a great host!

This was a great place to relax. All the amenities were great! The description of the front of the house was slightly miss leading from the pictures. I did think that it was wheel chair accessible from the pictures. Then found that the front of the house has stairs leading down a hill leading to the house. However as I did not request wheel chair accessibility this is not a complaint just an observation. The house was amazing! Some few minor details were discussed with the owners and they were fabulously responsive. We followed thier instructions to the letter when entering and leaving. I loved that the grill is near the hot tub as I was able to relax while my son did the cooking! lol! Lots of fun! We enjoyed the game room and the fact that the TV is in every room! A must for older adults ! The location is near all the amenities! Which was perfect! We were able to book massages and get there within 5 minutes. Thank you so much for allowing us to be there!

Wonderful place to stay with a group. There are just as many bathrooms as bedrooms, which makes everyone’s stay just that much nicer. Emily was a wonderful hostess who went out of her way to accommodate us.

Awesome location. The place had everything we needed and was very clean. It was loud sometimes but it was really more because of the clientele at the bar across the street than The Grape Escape. Closing the windows and turning the air on helped a lot. Plus she does provide earplugs if needed. We would stay here again for sure!
