Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Jo Daviess County

Alina’s house was really, really beautiful, spacious, modern, inviting, and had EVERYTHING we needed! It was just great. It has a big fire pit in the green and spacious backyard. The bedrooms were huge and the beds were comfortable. There was a POOL TABLE on the first level, which was a ton of fun. I would highly recommend this place! (Just a note, and NOT something “wrong” at all with the house. Because it’s new construction, the top plug of each outlet only works if the switch nearby is on. Just remember that, and you’ll be great!) Definitely recommend!!

We just finished our stay & loved it! This was perfect for our group of 4 ladies. We each had a private bedroom & 3 bathrooms were a huge plus. They even provided makeup towels & fully stocked shampoo, conditioner, & body washes in each bathroom. The screened in porch was fantastic! We spent most of our morning & evenings there. The hot tub was great, it was strong from the chemicals & we did get itchy so a shower immediately after was necessary. If you need some kind of noise while you sleep, you will need to bring your own fan. It is in the woods & gets very quiet! I purchased a small fan & it worked perfectly. The beds were very comfortable with tons of pillows & plenty of blankets. We had tons of wildlife around us everyday. Flocks of turkeys in the morning, even a fox! Very relaxing after busy days in town. This property was perfect for a small group or family who would like a smaller home with plenty of privacy in the woods as well as in the home! We would definitely stay again.

Brian and Jonny were very responsive and communicative from beginning to end. It was a last minute trip and we were lucky to find a pet friendly place during the start of the summer season. The house was clean, cozy and close to walking trails. Although we did not take advantage of the outdoor grill or hot tub (they have a wood burning fireplace for the winter), we enjoyed the screened in porch and open concept layout of the house, as pictured in the profile. The house is situated between two other houses blocked somewhat by the trees. I would describe as semi-private where we could see their back patio/hot tub/fire pit and vice versa. But whatever your personal comfort level, you can’t beat the proximity to trails, Owners Club, and easy access to Hwy 20 to Galena! We enjoyed our stay and exploring!

We had a great stay at the cabin for my brother’s bachelor party weekend. We played 2 golf courses, ate at one of the resort restaurants, and went downtown for dinner one night. It’s a 2 minute drive to the courses and 10 minutes to downtown. Great location that sat on one of the par 4s.

Joel’s place was absolutely beautiful! It was secluded and peaceful but also very close to down town. I loved drinking my coffee outside in the mornings it was so peaceful! I’d recommend Joel’s air bnb to anyone wanting to travel to galena. I’d go back in a heartbeat! Joel was a great host. He gave us all the information and checked In on us throughout our stay. We had a great time!

Excellent house for our guys golf trip! Lots of amenities at the house and a 10 minute to all of the different Eagle Ridge golf courses. House is a 15 minute drive to downtown Galena that has a lot of shops and restaurants. Very responsive and friendly hosts. 10/10!

Last minute my family and I decided we needed a getaway. Cynthia almost instantly approved our booking, gave instruction, and even photos and drawn details on how to get to the home. We were at the home within 4 hours of booking. She also gave us early check in without requesting. On the final night of our reservation we enjoyed this property and stay so much we asked about staying another night. Luckily it was available and approved again almost instantly. The home was very clean, provided extras like toothbrushes, hair appliances, shampoo, keurig & popcorn. Our kids loved the loft area, games, and the space to explore outdoors. The layout was open and cozy. It was just far enough away for peaceful privacy but still close enough to get into town in 15 minutes. We didn’t want to leave!

This was my fourth time staying at Sandys and each time is just as enjoyable as the last. Her new wallpaper in the kitchen, bedrooms, and master bath are beautiful. She has a real knack for decor. She's always super helpful, kind, and her breakfasts dont disappoint! If you're looking to relax in a peaceful setting, but still be close to downtown Galena, this is THE place to stay.

This condo is perfect for a little getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The bed was comfortable! The jet tub was relaxing and perfect for 2 people! Downfall is that the shower head is VERY small and there’s a weird clunking behind the toilet, in the plumbing.

The room was exactly as advertised and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

This place was absolutely wonderful! Location.....Perfect! Beds so comfy!! Yes please!! You walk right down the stairs and out you are on Main St. with all the best shops and restaurants! The people were so friendly and the vibe to the place and the town will have you hooked liked us!! We loved it so much we are planning in the fall doing a comeback! ❤️❤️❤️

A beautiful place with lots to do. From the fishing pond to the fun stiff in the basement to the great outdoor space, my family had a wonderful time.

This home was more than we expected—absolutely stunning! It was so cozy and welcoming, and the beds were very comfortable (we all slept great!). The views from the main window were just beautiful and made the whole stay feel extra special. Perfect spot for a relaxing weekend with friends!

We loved our stay! The cabin was affordable, clean & even better in person. My kids had a great time & as a not-so outdoorsy family, it gave us the perfect balance of comfort & nature. Highly recommend!

For being our first family getaway, this was the best place for it! Under the circumstances, or family really needed family bonding and quality time. We found the perfect home! The kids had plenty to do even though it was too cold for the outdoor pool. They were very responsive and answered my thousand questions. 🤭🤪 I would definitely return!

My group and I were in town for a wedding, and we’re so glad we chose Tracy’s home. It was spotless - truly the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at - cozy, and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We loved spending time on the deck, enjoying our morning coffee, breakfast, and dinner out there. If you’re visiting Galena, I highly recommend staying here!

The Owl A-frame was so beautiful, peaceful, and private! It was very clean and had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we take a Galena trip!
