Lovely location. First time in Curacao and could not have asked for a better place. Beach and local market are both a short walk from the location so you’ll always have supplies. Papagayo beach resort is a short walk from the location so you can also get picked up for numerous kinds of excursions that offer hotel pickup. Great ocean sunset view from the front where you can also bring your dinner to the outdoor seating. Erwin was always responsive and helpful when we had questions. Overall great location and great place.

We had a wonderful stay at HappyDay. My wife and me returning to Curacao after a long time away and elected to stay in Jan Thiel area, selecting this location based on competitive price, privacy, and amenities - namely a small freshwater soaking pool, outdoor deck, and nice open interior guest suite. The hostess was simply delightful - always immediately responsive though our need to converse was minimal and she respected our privacy. Neighborhood setting close to Jan Thiel beach and other cool south-island features/adventure. Easy to get around though you'll want a vehicle (really ought to have one if you're not locking into an all-inclusive visiting Curacao). Will definitely consider returning to HappyDay and would've enjoyed staying longer.

Just finished a girls' trip at Villa Mazzai and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves! The villa is spacious and beautiful with very tasteful decorations. Our host, Marit, took great care of us and answered every question, no matter how small. We loved that there were so many communal spaces, as it allowed everyone the ability to spread out or be close together as they chose. Since our stay was late May, it was hot outside, which impacted our power usage as we heavily used the AC. After the conversion, we ended up paying an additional $54 for 4.5 days. Split between a large group, and the cost is pretty nominal. The villa is on a quiet dead end street, save for construction traffic during the day. We would absolutely come back to Curacao and stay at Villa Mazzai!

Beautiful home exactly as described. The home is walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The house manager was very responsive and answered all our questions. We rented a car from the airport but they also have a vehicle for rent. The only issue which we were notified about was a minor drainage issue with one of the showers. However since there are 4.5 bathrooms that wasn't a problem for us. Amazing home and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful house in a great location! We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were very comfortable. Loved sitting at the outdoor table watching the birds. Easy walk to nearby grocery store and restaurants/shops. Would definitely recommend!! Host was very nice and responsive!
