Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Jackson County

This was a great home base for going to Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun because it’s just a short drive away. The home is older but in great shape and the yard is gigantic for kids or pets to run around in. There is a very steep staircase up to the loft area, which has a single bed, comfy sofa bed and a small bathroom. We loved this place and would stay here again.

This place was the perfect place to stay for a week-long visit to the Independence area: It was well furnished, cozy, and not too far from everywhere we wanted to go.

We stayed at Jantina’s house for my future sister in law’s bachelorette party. The house was super accommodating for everyone. I reached out to Jantina about checking in early since we had people coming in town at different times and out of state. She was super accommodating and let us check in a few hours early which was helpful for everyone.

This is a great place for groups:). We did not use the basement/ 2nd bath area much but the main level is great and open to stay mingled together:) we utilized the large deck outdoors with some games we purchased and was great!! Would recommend:))

This was our second stay at Mom’s Place and just as perfect! Immaculate, very comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening!

Clean and organized place, has everything a home needs to have. We stayed for a month and were satisfied. Auguste was really prompt in his replies and were quick to help us whenever we needed help!

We adored our stay in this artfully decorated and intentionally stocked home. From touches like extra throw blankets to a variety of products in the bathroom to cozy little nooks for chatting throughout the space, this was one of our favorite Airbnbs ever. Tina was helpful and responsive. We couldn’t get over how healthy her house plants were! Would definitely stay again, if life brings us back to KC!

What a lovely bungalow. From the stone porch exterior to the period appropriate decor, beautiful hardwood floors and amazing kitchen. We felt at home the minute we walked through the door. We use Air B&B often but this is the first time my husband said “what a great place! We have to come back here!” The shower had great pressure with plenty of hot water. The towels were large and fluffy and the linens were perfect. She had a “before and after” book that shows how much work she put into it. Love the highlighted area in the front bedroom.

This place is a must-stay when visiting KC! The host was super responsive with clear and helpful instructions. Easy access to everywhere in KC and close to a great area with coffee, breweries, and restaurants. I thought it was a great touch that they included a guide to help you find places to go and things to do. Another great touch was the check-in book in the living room. It was great to see where everyone went on their stays, which gave us ideas for future visits. I would 10/10 recommend staying here.

We stayed at this beautiful Airbnb to celebrate a wedding in KC. Everything was in top notch condition and extremely clean. The host was helpful and checked in throughout our stay. I highly recommend!

Lovely, clean, and well-stocked place to stay! It was so generous of our host to have a few cold drinks and snacks available, after a long travel day, it made it feel like home. Lots of top-notch little parks nearby to go for a stroll.

Clean, secure, safe, cozy. Cool area by the Library. The Streetcar (free) stops directly outside the building. This spot is not in the dead center of the restaurant districts, which just means it's a little quieter. You can get to the trendy parts of downtown with a 5-20-minute walk (or a 3-10-minute Streetcar ride). So, great location. The apartment is super clean. Everything works and looks nearly brand new. It's a well-kept space. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, smart TVs in the bedroom and living room. No concerns about security. Parking is in a gated deck beside the apartment. The security guard on duty is incredibly helpful - don't hesitate to call them for help finding the parking (if needed) or a general overview of the building. The gym in the building is well-equipped with a variety of machines and weights. Saved me a drive to Planet Fitness. Savannah was quick to respond to any questions I had and communicated well. Bonus: The shower heads are great for people 3'-8' tall!

Jaymi's Airbnb was a great place to stay during my vacation in Kansas City. It’s located in a safe area and a quick drive to restaurants, bars, and other activities. The home was very clean, the AC worked perfectly, and I had everything I needed during my stay. Would recommend!

Rob and Brenda had a very nice spot in downtown KC. We had a concert at the T-Mobile Center and it was really nice to walk over. Plus there are a multitude of wonderful restaurants in the area, as well as, the apartment is situated close to the river market district!

Great little spot! Walkable to some cute coffee shops and a great climbing gym! Very central to a lot of great spots. We had a minor problem with the toilet, but Vince was super responsive and got it fixed right away!

The property is beautiful, and the interior is thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. It was clean and welcoming, and the host was incredibly kind and accommodating.The location was perfect for our trip to KC. We had a great stay and would definitely come back!

Sage is a wonderful host, very thoughtful and proactive. The guest suite is comfortable and has everything you will need for a stay there. The condo is in a great location very near the Nelson Atkins art museum and a few blocks from the Plaza. I would definitely stay at Sage's place again.

Definitely a one of a kind great vibe inside and out! Plus, La Bodega, a tapa spot that has been around for years, sits right across the street and couldn't be a better match for this Airbnb! In addition, it's clear that Jake pays just as much attention to his hosting skills as he does to the details in this unique place. Well worth the stay!

Second time for the 4 of us. I'm sure there will be a third stay.

It was a great spot to stay at. Close to everything we needed. The place was clean and well maintain. Would book again in the future.
