Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Izu

We loved the house. It’s very cozy, super clean, close to the lake, no insects (at least not during our stay), very pet friendly. We went as a family of 4 with our little dog. We highly recommend it.

The house is really nice. It's very clean, good location and the views are beautiful. We were able to freely enjoy the garden and BBQ. The bedding is comfortable. Everything is very clean (bathroom, kitchen, sheets, towels...). Finally, many beaches and spots to visit nearby. Thanks!

It was a facility where you could relax. This region is unique in that it is rich in nature and you can enjoy the sea, mountains, and rivers, and you can also see Mt. Fuji. The food is also delicious in general. There is also a hot spring facility within walking distance. There is a terrace on the 2nd floor where you can barbecue, lie in a hammock, and relax. There were plenty of beds and futons, so it was fine for families and groups. Monitors and printers were also available so that I could work on my computer, and I could also use it as a co-working space.

I stayed here for three days for sightseeing in Higashiizu. The house was spacious and I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay with the kids. As far as I asked before I left, I thought it was difficult to understand because it was going through a narrow road, but when I actually went up the hill, the road was no problem with running in a minivan, and it was a place to remember quickly. It is very convenient to go all over the north and south, so it is recommended for those who want to stay for a long time. Thank you very much.

Yuji was really responsive and easy to communicate during our stay. It was an old house but I think the owner already tried his best to maintain and clean it (it’s just too old and had some stain and rust on places). There were trees and bushes surrounded the house - beautiful but yes a lot of bugs, and luckily not much got inside. There was not much to do nearby but would be good stopby to rest for a night. Considering the price it’s totally worth it. I’ll still give it 5 stars in overall.

I used it for a trip with 15 colleagues from work. Upon arrival, the host gave us a direct tour of the facility, and we were able to use it without any questions. As we were the first guests after the renovation, the party games and other items were new, and it was very clean and easy to use. There were no other buildings around, so I could enjoy a private space without worrying about the surroundings. The open-air bath and pool were also beautiful and easy to use.I imagined that there would be a lot of insects because it is surrounded by nature, but personally, I didn't mind as much as I thought. I was very satisfied because I could have a BBQ (separate charge) on the veranda on the second floor while looking at the beautiful sea.However, there are no convenience stores or supermarkets in the vicinity, so you need to be careful about preparing ingredients. It was a lovely place that I would like to use again!

I struggled to adjust the temperature of the hot water in the bath due to the source spring, but when I contacted the host, they responded politely. Thank you very much.

Beautiful place and the owners were so kind and always went out of their way to help me :) I would recommend having a car to get around this area, unless you’re just going to the beach

The sauna was not very hot, but the steam circulated easily, making it feel hot enough, and it was more comfortable than expected.After that, we cooled off in the illuminated pool, which was extraordinary and enjoyable.The kitchen was also spacious, and we were able to communicate with a large number of people. The bedding and water area were clean and comfortable to use. There are many insects outside, so we recommend that those who are not good with insects spend time indoors.The accommodation was really great.Thank you very much.

If you only prepare ingredients, there are seasonings and sauces. There were few ingredients at the nearby supermarket, so I thought it would be good to prepare it in advance. All of the meat from the butcher you mentioned was delicious.

The sauna, water bath, and natural hot spring were all pleasant to use!The description of the facility was also easy to understand, and we had a comfortable stay.

This was our favorite house during our two week trip to Japan. The house is huge. We only had five so everyone got a room. Olga was kind enough to arrange transfer from the train station to the house for our later in the evening arrival. Olga’s husband waited while we had an excellent meal in Shimoda before heading to the house. The house is a short walk to the beach. It is very private and has a great set up for outdoor grilling. Be sure to stop at the grocery before heading to the house many of the restaurants close quite early for dinner. We wish we could’ve had a longer stay here. It is very relaxing.

This was the first time I stayed with my pet, but they even provided a pet bed, and I had a wonderful stay. I look forward to staying here again.

The host was very kind and had a comfortable stay.Thank you!The beautiful sea spreads out in front of us, and we were able to relax in a great location.It was three floors, but it was safe for a family with bad feet with an elevator in the building.We appreciated the amenities, including coffee and sweets. I'm curious about the sound of cars from the thin futon and the road just behind (I can't help it...). Also, there was no mention of it in the equipment section, but a hair dryer was provided!

Our party of 8 (one infant and one preschooler) has a wonderful time in this property. the house itself was in a quiet and peaceful location just less than a minute drive from the lake. the kitchen was well provided for and the living area expansive enough to fit the entire group. we had bbq dinners with a decently stocked supermarket just under 10min drive away. in a clear day you can see the peak of mt fuji from the balcony. the hosts were very thoughtful and the baby cot was comfortable enough for the little one. one of the highlights is the hot bath and the sauna, both of which were used on both nights. we would love to come back and stay again if we have the opportunity! the hosts were very responsive and very easy to communicate with. a big thank you for making our stay memorable.

A very convenient location for enjoying Shimoda festivals and events! There is no bath in the room, but there is a public bath nearby, and this time I used the hotel's early morning return hot spring, which is 10 minutes away by car.It was a great holiday!

We stayed in this lovely home just outside of town, nestled in nature, for one month and felt right at home. Abhi is a most generous and considerate host, he helped us out from start to finish and made sure we had the best time in the Shimoda area. You do not need a car if staying here as the beach and a couple of restaurants are only about a 10 min walk from the house and convenience store about 20 minutes and a couple more good restaurants / bars about 35 minutes. But if you want to visit more sites in the area or go to the grocery store we'd recommend a car. The main reason we were visiting the area was to dive with the huge schools of Hammerhead sharks just off the coast here. Without a car the dive center can pick you up. We highly recommend Abhi's place. good wifi good AC big TV well equipped kitchen washing machine
