House holiday rentals in Izola

We stayed here for one week with our 3 kids. The place is beautiful, very quiet yet close to Koper, a animated city (about 10 min by car). It's a good spot to start a trip to one of several beaches (20-30 min), famous caves (30-40 min) or Ljubljana (1h drive) or even hiking in the Triglav area (2h drive). The house itself is very nice, clean and offers everything you need. The kids especially loved the big pool which they could access whenever they wanted. Andreja is very kind and helpful and gave us a lot of great Tips. Thank you very much!

This was our second time staying at La Finka, and just like the first time, everything was absolutely perfect. The villa is very clean, well-equipped, and has everything you could possibly need. Ivan is an amazing host – he responds immediately and truly cares about making sure you feel comfortable and welcome. We’ll definitely be coming back and can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay.

Helena welcomed us very kindly. The arrangement when we arrived worked great. She explained and showed us everything on site and also gave us tips on where to eat well. Everything was already there on site, a small purchase had already been made, for the first hunger. Dishwasher tabs, taps for the washing machine, dishcloths, but also charcoal…… everything available. Then a large fruit basket was brought over in between. Helena was also always available and after a small storm, she asked the next day if we were okay and if someone should come to clean up. The pool was also cleaned once in between. It's also great there with a dog, because it's properly fenced, and walking the dog is no problem. So we were completely satisfied and would go back. Thank you very much to Helena and also to your husband🫶🏻

I spent New Year's Eve with my friends in Stefan's accommodation and we were very impressed by the beauty of the house, new, clean, functional, equipped with every comfort. The rooms each with their own bathroom offer maximum privacy to each guest while the open lounge allows you to enjoy moments together with other guests in total relaxation and comfort. Stefan is a fantastic host, always available, who put us in the best conditions to feel at home. Thank you!

We had a wonderful holiday (and honeymoon!) at Casa Valla. We were so warmly welcomed and it was a such a pleasure to meet Matea, her father, Elvis and her mother. We were made to feel so at home and they even gave us kind and thoughtful honeymoon gifts! ❤️ The property is spotlessly clean, fresh and modern with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The beds are large & very comfortable, the shower was powerful with hot water at all times. We especially loved the spacious pool, barbeque area and the view over the fields to the hills. It was quiet and peaceful but only a 5-10 mins walk to either a large supermarket or up the hill to the old town. There were many walking routes and trails, so if you love walking this is a great spot. However, the thing that made Casa Valla most special for us was the hosts and their warmth, kindness and the real pride they take in their property. We would recommend Casa Valla anyone who wants a peaceful, relaxing holiday in a beautiful place ❤️

We had a wonderful time in Suzana's vacation home! The house is located in a very quiet area – perfect for relaxing. The large pool is a real highlight, as is the fantastic view of the surroundings. The furnishings of the house leave nothing to be desired – everything has really been thought of. We would especially like to highlight the cleanliness and the great and loving communication with Miranda (lady on site, who does the key handover and who you can ask anything at any time) The only minor "critique": the grill is a bit small – which is perhaps good to know for grill fans. There are shopping facilities in the village or about 20 minutes away (Plodine, Spar, Konzum, etc.). The sea is also only about 20 minutes away by car. Overall, absolutely recommended - we will definitely come back!

Tanja and Darko welcomed us in a loving way. Smiling and always available, they gave us all the useful information to explore the area and pampered us by offering us products from their territory and an excellent snack prepared by Tanja. The accommodation is extremely well-kept and very clean, with air conditioning, mosquito nets, parking and a small fenced garden perfect for traveling with your dog. Located in a quiet and convenient area, just a few minutes' walk from the sea. A convenience store, bakery and restaurant are also within walking distance. Highly recommended! We can't wait to come back!!

The apartment’s atmosphere was very nice. Designed by an interior designer, few years ago fully refurbished. Some parts look good, but are not really practical (big chandeliers). The kitchen is fully equipped, so we could prepare food easily. The AC was working. Alenka reccommended us a lot of places to visit, she is a really kind and helpful host :) enjoyed our stay in Piran and would recommend Casa Matteo to anyone :)

We had a great stay at Nikka’s place. It’s located in a really quiet neighborhood, and within 10 min walk to the seaside. Recommended for family vacation!

Our stay (2 adults, 2 children) at Oriela's was wonderful. The apartment is really close to the water, has everything you need and we were completely satisfied. Upon our arrival, we were even greeted with a large fruit bowl. Oriela surprised us with delicious cake and made us happy. In the wonderful weather, you could always eat on the terrace and have a good time. Great is the parking right by the house. Oriela has provided a beautiful environment with many small lights and so we were outside for a long time. Anyone who spends time there should take a close look around the house. There are countless small details on/in the walls and wherever you look, you notice something beautiful. Thank you for the great vacation 🌞

Pavel’s house on the hill was fabulous. Stunning views with great outdoor eating area and BBQ. The house was full of character, very unusual. Pavel was a great host, and was quick to respond. He went out of his way to help us out. Thank you Pavel.

We - a family of 5 with kids aged 10, 7, 5 - stayed at the house for a week in August. The house is situated in an incredibly beautiful spot overlooking the Bay of Trieste near Piran. The surroundings were great for us: A private walking/climbing path allowed us to reach the rocky beach in 5 minutes; the garden is great for relaxing (as long as the mosquitos were asleep...); and beautiful Piran is just 10...15 minutes away on foot. The house has all needed amenities and a nice mediterranean ambience. Out host Baca provided us with all needed information and hints and always responded quickly. Thank you for making this stay possible!

Okay, Wow! This is close enough to Lucija that you could walk, if you are inclined to walk back up. We chose not to because it was steep! But, wow, what a view! The tight twisty lane that leads to this view is fun on a motorcycle and easily doable with a midsized car or SUV but I would discourage you driving here in anything larger. The hosts are great people who are also within the motorcycle traveling community and were excited to welcome us as their first motorbike visitors. I was a bit surprised because this is motorcycle nirvana! The apartment was clean and modern with an ample kitchen, a magnificent walk in shower and bath space, and a washing machine. There was also an additional bunk we used as out of the way luggage space. The hostess is so sweet and brought us fresh cherries from the local Saturday farmer’s market with a bottle of locally produced wine. Did I say "Wow!"? We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to other travelers.

Our stay at Renata’s place was the perfect ending for our Italian family trip from Bologna to Trieste (one mother and two daughters). The house is 15-20 minutes walk from the train station, but there is a bus line also to easier access, than 5 minute walk uphill from bus station to the house. We felt safe and in peace at this accommodation. The three levelled house is gorgeous, well equipped and has a personal vibe through the little details, carefully decorated with personal treasures, unique items and renovated furnitures. Everything was perfectly prepared for our arriving, bathroom and kitchen extra tidy and clean! We got towels, slippers and Renata & Dario even got us some welcome goodies for breakfast and for snacks and welcomed us with nicely written words too. We had everything we needed in the kitchen also. The view is even better than in pictures, perfect for eating outside on the terrace, and sippin’ in the coastal atmosphere. There is simply nothing to complain about! 10/10

The host was really nice and kind. It was our first visit to Slovenia and he answered questions we had. It was really nice of him that he kept a parking spot for us when we didn't understand how and where to park. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. Sound from upstairs from the host family was understandable and didn't bother us. We would come back again when we had a chance.

Luka and Petra's place is in a serene location that is just a 10 minutes walk to Piran old town or to Fiesa beach. The place is well equipped, clean and has the best view. Everything was as described or better. Luka was really helpful, giving us a few tips where to go. Absolutely recommended!

This was our first trip to Slovenia and what a fantastic time we had! Ana and Alec's house is in a great location - peaceful, incredible views and a couple of good restaurants in the village; it was also easy to get to the coast and also into Croatia to explore a little of this country too. The house was fabulous! Spacious, stylish and with literally everything we needed. The pool was wonderful to plunge into after our very hot trips out! Thank you, Ana and Alec, for letting us stay in your wonderful house. Thank you also for the kind gift of a bottle of wine, which we enjoyed on our first evening, sat outside looking at the beautiful views.

The stay was, as can be read in all the reviews, absolutely great! The living space as described and really great and prepared in an extremely accommodating way. Sabina thinks of everything :-) even a bottle of milk in the fridge for those who need a coffee in the morning. Jam, Nutella, cookies, everything is thought of. Even juice and water can be found cooled Great quality of the towels (not a given either...) and everything super clean and friendly. Only the way to the city is a bit longer, the car is then already an advantage. As described, there is a good bus connection, but we always took the car because we wanted to go on excursions a bit outside anyway A really great Airbnb with great value for money and because of the rather outlying residential area super quiet and pleasant for the breaks between the trips and quiet nights. A great stay!

Just for clarity, this place is not an entire home, as it is divided into two apartments by a locked door. This means that if there are noisy neighbours in the adjacent unit, you can hear everything. That aside, the accommodation was very nice and clean, the bed was really comfortable, the area was peaceful, and the host was promptly responsive.
