We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

Pasiphae House was something out of a dream! It was beautifully designed in the traditional Crete Village homes style. The location is isolate in the mountains, but amongst a great community of people. We were greeted by Yianna and Koula that gave us the walk through of the house, and we're always in constant communication. Ioanna supplied us with a long list of things to do and try in the area which we took full advantage of. Overall it was a beautiful stay and would highly recommend.

Very private, no noise from neighbors. We hardly heard any noise from the traffic as the apartment is not directly on the road. We stayed for a week and spent much time on the incredible balcony: you can always find a space in the shade there. We loved the Galini beach nearby. only downside is that you have to walk for 200 meters along the road, as there is no footpath. There is a private beach closer by, but not everyone will be willing to climb down. It's doable for most people, but it is no walk in the park. If you like solitude, or if the Galini beach is too crowded, then certainly try to go the private beach. The WiFi in the apartment and on the balcony is good enough to stream video to one laptop. We had a tremendous time and certainly will come back some time in the future

If you are looking for a very quiet location close to the sea, this is the place to be. In Sitia you will find many shops and restaurants. A Lidl is about 20 minutes away. Thank you for everything. One of the most beautiful homes we have ever stayed at. Owner is great and took care of everything very fast and efficiently. Perfect place to relax and enjoy a secluded holiday in Crete. We will always go back to this place!

We had a great time at Pinelopi's relaxing apartment by the beach! She gave us lots of great suggestions of places to visit and was very kinda and friendly. There are lots of great beaches nearby. We enjoyed meeting Toby the dog and having Sissi the cat hang out with us each morning. thank you again!

The Rustic Nook was such a lovely, unique place to stay. It felt like you were tucked away in a quaint cottage in the shire. Beyond the physical attractiveness of the home, Amanda was always just a text away. I felt that if an emergency were to arise, she would’ve been there in a moment’s notice. When it came to the Rustic Nook, she thought of everything and had a note or explanation available. We loved our stay and if we ever get the chance to come back to Crete, we hope to be able to stay at the Rustic Nook again!

As a couple staying here, we can recommend for a quiet and relaxing stay. Everything is as advertised: simple but clean. The terrace offers privacy and is surrounded by olive trees. Restaurants are on walking distance, as is the beach (20 min) if you can cope with the steep hill. As almost everywhere in Crete, a car comes in handy for any other trips.

We absolutely loved this villa, Mania very kindly greeted us at Midnight as we had a late flight, and yes the reviews are right, she arrived with the most amazing moussaka and even made a vegetarian one. Mania was always available for any advice/recommendations and managed the tricky combination of being present but not intrusive. There was also a really thoughtful welcome gift of homemade food waiting for us. The kitchen was really well equipped, and super clean, we ate in a lot and enjoyed dinners on the covered terrace. We loved the pool, the kids especially, we spent a lot of time in the pool as it was very hot. The beds were comfy, the rooms all have their own bathroom, and terraces, there was lots of thoughtful touches throughout. The garden is beautiful and I don't think we managed to sit in all the different seating areas in the week. The winner for me was the decor, it was so beautiful, it was like staying in house in a Home Decor magazine. We will definitely come back.

What a beautiful and comfortable house! We stayed here with 8 people and each two had a nice room with bathroom (one room has a toilet and sink; no shower). The kitchen is very well equipped. All you need is here! As a result, we also cooked several times. The living room is not that big, but in Crete you almost always live outside. And that outdoor space is great! A lovely swimming pool with nice fresh water, lots of seats and sunbeds, a very large dining table, a beautiful treehouse with even more chill spots and both sun and shade. There are 3 supermarkets within walking distance, a bakery, a butcher, 3 taverns... perfect! The beach is a 1-minute walk away, is fine. More beautiful beaches can be found with a small car ride. For the larger sights and towns, you have to drive a little longer. That may be the only downside... But we'd love to come back here!

We highly recommend this location. Beautiful accommodation with stunning surroundings. All the staff were delightful and nothing was too much trouble. The home cooked food was nothing short of fantastic. Particularly wonderful was the samples of traditional food (not on the menu) offering a real insight into local homemade dishes. The estate includes fruit trees, vegetables, walnut trees and much more. Guests are welcome to eat the fruit. A short walk takes you up into the pine forest, with shaded paths, local gardens and animals on route. Don’t pass up the opportunity to stay here!

The villa was fabulous with amazing sea and mountain views and so much more space (bigger than we expected). Very quiet which was what we wanted and so you need a car. Lovely beaches and tavernas not too far away. Host and house keeper were very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

We had done a JGA at the place. And there was nothing missing. Food/drinks were provided. We were right in love and felt right at home. For 6 people it was great and we definitely succeeded in the surprise for the bride. About 15-20 minutes by car to Heraklion, which is absolutely fine. Xristos is super friendly and accommodating. If I have the opportunity again, I would always go to this Airbnb :). Unfortunately, the weather was not so optimal with us, but we still had a lot of fun. A pleasant stay surrounded by nature in an area with a tidy garden, flowering plants, trees. The opportunity to enjoy nature, the environment and the sun at various times of the day, it has been furnished with cozy awnings and gazebos in various places in the garden , by the pool and in front of the house. It is possible to prepare a meal yourself in the kitchen, or on a live fire in the garden. For a cooler evening or romance there is a kindling fireplace in the house. Really liked the proximity to nature, no city noises and hustle, at the same time the city Heraklion can be reached by about 10-12 minutes by car. We felt cozy, the hosts were responsive and hospitable.

Theodora’s apartment is hidden gem in Agios Nikolaos. During our stay we realized, there is no better location for families with small kids. It’s right next to beach bar with great beach, in our opinion best within the city and there is even kids playground right next to it. You have 6-7 great local restaurants within 5mins walk + 2 grocery shops. Location is very quiet. Apartment is very well equipped with all you need for shorter or even longer stay (we stayed 1month). Theodora was very friendly, responsive and helpful with anything we needed. We can only recommend her and her apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy perfect vacation. Efcharisto Theodora 👍🏻

The villa was so beautiful, very stylish and fulfilled all of our needs for a peaceful getaway in the sun. Yannis and Zoe left lots of local treats for us to try when we arrived and the whole villa was equipped with thoughtful bits and bobs that were very handy to have! They also sent us a long list of local beach/food recommendations that was extremely useful! Etia is a lovely tiny hamlet and feels very special to have the chance to stay in, the surrounding ruins and landscape make the place private and quiet, perfect if you love nature. Thanks for a lovely stay, we'll be sure to visit again!

We spent a week there. The house is located in a quiet area, a 15-minute walk from one of the nicest beaches in Crete. A home equipped with cooking utensils, a bathroom stocked with toiletries. The only downside is the parking space. The owner's designated space was very small, our car didn't fit, but my husband parked in the surrounding public parking lots. We had a great vacation in this home. I recommend this place.

Everything perfect! Sofia is a very warm hostess and surprises guests with nice gestures. The apartment is very spacious and has everything you need (even a washing machine). On the terrace, you have a beautiful view of the sea. On foot, you can reach the beach in 10 minutes and restaurants and a supermarket in 5 minutes. Price-performance ratio that can't be beaten. If we could, we would give more stars 😊

Villa Vido is simply amazing- a dream place!! Surrounded by olive trees in a quiet area with an amazing view of Dia island Very comfortable place with all the amenities. We spent 9 days and loved our stay there. More than an AirBnB!!

We had nice quiet days at Kelari Cottage :-) The place has everything we needed and the bed was sooo comfortable! The hike to Pefki through the gorge is so worth it, after that you should definitely eat in Pefki with Maria - delicious! The area is pretty, still very deserted and sleepy in March. We would come back!

There are no words to describe how great it was at Popi and in Tertsa!! I loved it! The apartment is very lovingly furnished, it really has everything you need. It is very clean, cozy and has a great balcony with a beautiful sea view. There is a lot of space for parking. The beach of Tertsa and fie Taveren are also great, away from mass tourism. But the best thing is Popy's cordiality and hospitality. She spoils you with delicacies. Soooo fantastic! Even cooked for me, I will never forget that. Thank you Popi! ❤️ The garden with fruit and vegetables, which you can eat, is also great. So many tomatoes, lemons, grapes, pomegranates..... It was the best stay on my three-week round trip.

Perfect place for vacations, great see view (better than in pictures), very cozy and convenient villa. Alex (host) and Valentin (manager) both are very proactive and helpful.
