Alps Mountains. Italy. Aosta Valley. A cabin in a small village at 1600 meters,in the peace of meadows, grazing cows and mountains. Snow (usually) in the winter. A place of the heart, lovingly restored preserving the ancient beams of the roof. A wonderful view from the large windows and a special tranquility for those in search of peace, warmth and relaxation. The furniture is very nice: wood above all, but also more lively colors, and modern comforts. Quiet excursions, both on snowshoes or ski.

Authentic and comfortable base camp, ideally located at the crossroads of Val Ferret, Val d'Entremont, Champex and the St-Bernard region. As a mountain guide, I chose this area to radiate from the house with my clients: in winter, skiing, cross-country skiing, or ice climbing, as well as for its immense potential in summer: alpine hiking, climbing and mountaineering. The possibilities in the area are enormous. Nature is splendid in all seasons.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hanna and Frederic's amazing house. It is beautifully furnished, well equipped and immaculately clean. The views are stunning and it is a great base for exploring the mountains in the area. Hanna is an excellent host and we were sad to leave.

The house is really very nice and cozy, the common spaces are spacious and bright, each glass window has views of the surrounding mountain. The amenities are new and of good quality, and obviously the light fixtures have been worked since the 1st review because the lighting is dim and functional. A few local shops in the village of Orsieres, so 5 minutes by car, the supermarkets are 10 minutes away. The hamlet is served by bus and you can circulate throughout the area thanks to an efficient public transport service (bus and train and Orsières) Finally, Juliette is a considerate and responsive host.

Great ski touring stay with my daughter. We got stuck another day (but without electricity) because the roads to Martigny and the tunnel were blocked by the police due to the very large snowfall. Christine was very understanding and gave us the right information very quickly. Note that the two bedrooms are in a row.
