Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Island of Ortigia

Andrea's place is terrific - located a group of houses in a quiet area ~20 min drive from Siracusa with gated access that feels "remote". The house itself is half of a duplex and is exactly like the pictures in the listing - it is modern and clean and incredibly well furnished and stocked to feel like home. The beds were comfortable (firm), kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking, AC worked great, Wifi was excellent (fast upload speeds), and clothes washer was also good. There was a small hot tub in the backyard that worked OK (took a long time to heat up, but was then fine). There is a rock / rocky beach at the end of the street nearby, but we suggest that you use the 2 beach umbrellas and beach towels that are provided and go to either Spiaggia Punta Carrozza or Spiaggia del Minareto, both are ~10 min drive away. Communication with Andrea was good, and we appreciated his flexibility for our early check-in. Overall, highly recommended.

Dit is een heel fijn huis wat met nog een klein beetje meer finesse een superhuis kan zijn. Een schilderij aan de muur, een extra kast of een kastje in de badkamer zou het helemaal af maken. Maar wat een mooie week hebben we hier gehad. Allereerst de host, Giovanni, is werkelijk een fantastische man. Uiterst vriendelijk, altijd bereikbaar en behulpzaam, beter kan je het niet wensen. En het zwembad, jacuzzi en buitendouche zijn geweldig! Net als de buitenkeuken met 2 grillplaatsen en zelfs een houtoven. En wat een ruimte om je heen, met een schaduwrijk terras en voldoende parkeerruimte. Binnen 3 slaapkamers met goede bedden, een goede maar kleine badkamer, een kleine maar goed functionerende keuken en een grote koelvriescombinatie. In Fanusa zelf is niets te doen, dus kom met een auto! Binnen 10 min ben je in Siracusa, of bij een enorm winkelcentrum, en ook natuur, strand en andere plaatsjes zijn vanaf hier goed te bereiken.

Very unique place, much larger on the inside than it appears outside. Pros:. Clean, spacious, 15 minute walk from Ortigia, usually plenty of street parking close to the apartment, 15 minute walk to a grocery, independent air conditioning in the main bedroom(which was a godsend), washer in the apartment (use the 15 minute wash, otherwise it takes forever), oven, dishwasher, freezer/fridge, water in the fridge on arrival, a bath pouf and sweets in the bedroom on arrival, you CAN walk to the Archaeological Park and the Catacombs, but it's maybe a 30 minute walk. Possibility of sleeping 6( 2 beds, sleeper sofa), which would make this a fantastic deal! Cons:. The bed was a bit firm for our liking. Granted, it was better than the one we slept on in Agrigento, but still too firm for us. So, if you like a fluffy bed, this is not for you. By the 3rd night, we had gotten used to it. Daniele Is a very sweet man. He also owns a coffee bar 5 minutes away in the Piazza. It usually took him an hour or so to get back to us when we had a question, but it was never anything pressing. There is an alarm system in the apartment that would randomly beep on occasion. Not sure why. I suggest taking the hop on hop off your bus. It's only 5 EU, goes to all the places your gonna want to go, and you can catch it about 5 minutes from the apartment. I do not recommend a restaurant called Top 13. We went there because it was close and were tired of walking. Even though they had a full menu, we were only allowed to order pizza. It's not that the food was bad (it was ok), I just don't like being taunted with a full menu but told only pizza.

La zona della camera è molto tranquilla, la camera si presenta come descritto dal proprietario, stanze pulite e molto accoglienti con qualche snack e bibita in omaggio. Ci siamo trovati molto bene

Our stay at Respiro Greco with Ramona and Salvo was simply wonderful. From the first moment, we felt warmly welcomed and very well taken care of. The location is ideal – supermarkets, cafés, and small shops are nearby, and beautiful beaches like San Lorenzo, Noto Marina, and Fontane Bianche are only a short drive away. The historic center of Syracuse with its sights and excellent restaurants is also quickly reached. Ramona and Salvo were always available, very kind, and helpful. Their recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and places to visit were perfect. The homemade cake for Easter was a lovely surprise. The apartment was extremely clean, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. The pool was well maintained, Wi-Fi was strong, and the Smart TV offered Netflix and Amazon Prime for cozy evenings. Syracuse’s culinary offerings were a true highlight. If you want to fully enjoy Syracuse and its surroundings, staying longer is highly recommended. We will definitely return!

Roberto och hans son Erik var helt fantastiska. Vi bodde i Villa Bismarkia som var rent och prydligt. Allt man kan tänkas behöva finns och de gemensamma ytorna var så välskötta och fina. Rekommenderar start detta boende!

Abbiamo pernottato una notte nella fantastica casa di Eva, Una suite a dir poco stupenda situata nel lungomare di Ortigia super pulita ed accogliente, la chicca di quella casa oltre il fantastico muro in pietra e l’idromassaggio con i suoi LED… Ci siamo sentiti a casa, Angelo un host super professionale, ci ha saputo consigliare dei posti giusti oltre a darci tutte le informazioni del posto. SUPER CONSIGLIATO⭐️

Zdecydowanie polecam:) apartament bardzo wygodny, w samym centrum Ortigi, co było wspaniałe, cichy i komfortowy; miał wszystko co jest potrzebne, parasol też na wszelki wypadek ;) bardzo dobry kontakt z Właścicielem .

We had a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the pool during the day and dinners outside in the evening. The ocean view from the third floor terrace is beautiful! The home was well appointed and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Only a short drive to Syracuse. The hosts were lovely and very responsive. I would recommend!

La maison de Christina est formidable Le logement est situé dans un environnement calme , la piscine dont la profondeur n’est que de 80 cm permet juste de se relaxer après une journée de visite Les lits sont faits tous les jours ainsi que le lavage du linge Christina nous a préparé un dîner excellent le soir de notre arrivée Elle est très accueillante , disponible et discrète bien qu’elle habite une partie de la maison avec son fils Ses chats et son chien sont familiers et discrets

Man fühlt sich sofort wie ein Sizilianer in dieser schönen und ruhig gelegenen Villa mit viel Platz drinnen und im Garten. Die Bilder entsprechen genau dem was einen erwartet. Gutes und sicheres Gefühl. Man braucht aber unbedingt ein Mietauto, um die Gegend zu erkunden. Wir haben auch einige Abende auf der Terrasse beim Grillen und im Wirlpool verbracht. Klare Empfehlung!

Really happy with our stay. Host was responsive and friendly. The pool was wonderful. Place was clean, and we had a great couple of days! I would say if you stay here you need a car. Thank you :)
