Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Ísafjörður

The stay was fantastic. There’s easy access to everything in the NP. Ægir’s property was very clean, warm & easy to find. I highly recommend. Had a view of the Snæfellsnes glacier on one side & an ocean view on the other. There was also lots of room for children to run and play outside. Everything was as described in the description.

Ursula is a friendly and accommodating host. Her place was spacious, comfortable and clean. The small welcoming treat she provided is a nice expression of her appreciation for her guests. I highly recommend this place and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Absolutely beautiful surroundings and the apartment was spotless. Had all the things we needed for our stay hope to book it again in the future.

This is a good place to stay, the surroundings were beautiful and the apartment was really nice and exactly like in the pictures. The host was quick in answering as we had gone to the wrong building. They were proactive in sending instructions that were clear and easy to get into the apartment. Thank you for the lovely stay!

I had such an incredible time in Iceland. The place was very clean when I arrived and the hosts were very communicative. The apartment had everything I needed while I was there for a week. I absolutely will be renting again when I come back in six months.

This condo is beautiful. It’s in a neighborhood near the Bonus supermarket, quiet, peaceful, safe, and close to town, within 8 minutes. The view out the back was stunning. There is even a view to the harbor. The unit was spotless, well equipped, with modern amenities. Owners were gracious and responsive. They came right over within 10 minutes when we couldn’t figure out how to work the washer, drier, the blinds and the stove. An instruction manual would have helped us, as we are 2 senior women! Alexander and his wife are truly wonderful, kind, people. I would not hesitate to recommend their place. Thanks for a great stay and a warm welcome!

The apartment offers a great view in every direction and is easily accessible. Communication was on point and without any flaws. Definitely a recommendation for visiting the Westfjords and worth revisiting!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus von Jona ist sehr gemütlich, hat allen Komfort und nach einer Wanderung in der Nähe von Nupur konnten wir im Whirlpool super entspannen! Es ist eine sehr empfehlenswerte Ausgangslage für Ausflüge in die Westfjorde (Dynjandi etc). Und wir fanden es besser als auf den Fotos dargestellt….

We had a wonderful stay at Margret’s apartment! It was cozy, well-equipped, and perfectly located to explore the stunning Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The highlight was the breathtaking view of Snæfellsjökull Glacier right from the living room. We were lucky to have fantastic weather, which made our trip even more special. Thank you for hosting us—we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the peninsula !

Die Unterkunft bietet viel Platz. Aufgeteilt auf zwei Stockwerken ist der Wohnraum sehr geräumig. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Im Badezimmer ist alles vorhanden - und auch ist reichlich Toilettenpapier vorhanden (liegt in den Schränken). Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Vermieter - Ingi und Snorri - waren stets erreichbar. Auch Vorschläge waren uns willkommen, beispielsweise in der Nacht bevorstehendes Nordlichtschauspiel. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten, zentral in den Westfjorden. Umgeben von vielen weiteren Fjorden ist es ein atemberaubendes Schauspiel der Natur. Von Nordlichtern in der Nacht, beeindruckende Wasserfälle, im Herbst eine farbenfrohe Hügellandschaft und Schwärme von Vögeln, Seehunden, Wasservögeln, und eine Stille die einen zur Ruhe kommen lässt. Wir kommen wieder!

A pleasant surprise was that Solveig's place was larger than it appeared from the photos, and had most amenities one would expect in an accommodation. It was a short drive or walk to most locations, not that the weather was amenable to walks during our time. Although the house itself was quite clean, the cleaner hadn't emptied out the waste the day we go there, this was rectified the following day.

We absolutely loved staying at Hjortur's home. The space felt newly renovated with a hot tub that overlooked a beautiful bay. There is plenty of room inside the house and outside on the deck. The home was equipped with everything we could want or need. Coffee beans and a supply of spices oils and vinegar, sugar and honey. There is cold seltzer water on tap! Laundry room with detergent. It was modern yet cozy. Comfortable beds, linens and towels. Family home feeling without clutter and personal items. The home is in walking distance to everything in Stykkisholmur. Hjortur is responsive and a pleasant in his communications. We look forward to staying there in the future.

The house is a home away from home, fully equipped with all the essentials, very comfortable for a three-day stay. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals, which is important since Þingeyri has limited or no dining options. Bring groceries with you. Our hosts communicated well and provided helpful advice promptly. Highly recommended. The fjord is the most beautiful of all the fjords we saw in Westfjords (and we saw many). We hiked road 622 west and the scenery was awesome. Concerning access, we were surprised to find that highway 60 alternated between splendid paved portions and dreadful (for a 2-wheel drive) long gravel portions. The route 61 via Ísafjörður is longer in distance but not in hours (our maps app was misleading for highway 60), and is an entirely paved and a more serene drive for a small car.

Completely agree that Flateryi is *actually* on the most beautiful fjord in all of Iceland. This modern cottage has a great location for exploring the Westfjords, but nobody mentions the 6K one-lane tunnel between Flateryi and Isafjordur! Regardless, this cottage was a great base to see the beach at Skalavik and enjoy the Tjöruhúsið restaurant in Isafjordur. Hot tub and sauna are especially nice!
