House holiday rentals in Isabella Lake

This wonderful home was carefully crafted for luxe comfort and entertaining. The perfect setting for our family gathering, the house boasts a well-stocked gourmet kitchen, beautiful center courtyard with fire table, gas grill, and propane heater, massive common spaces with soaring ceilings, excellent wood-burning fireplace and expansive mountain views. We loved the large, spotless hot tub, terrific game room and cozy home theater. This home is unusually well-appointed, clearly designed and decorated with great care and attention to detail. Towel warmers, excellent beds, an adorable popcorn machine in the game room, I could go on and on. We didn’t want to leave the house, despite the spectacular surroundings. Our host was very responsive and welcoming. We’d love to return to this spacious, thoughtfully crafted home.

Kirstin’s home was the perfect place for us and our family to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunny weather! The house was nice and cool when we needed to escape the heat. We all enjoyed playing a game of pool. Everything was clean, the house, pool and back patio were absolutely beautiful. We were so busy, we told ourselves we need to come up again and take advantage of the bbq and relax in the backyard at night. The sounds of the waterfall in the pool, the bugs, and the frogs were so peaceful. Thank you again for being an amazing host! And being so quick to respond!

We visit Kernville one to two times a a year. This was my favorite place so far out of the places my family and I have stayed. We have a family of 5 (3 kids) and they absolutely had a blast, plenty of games and activities for them to do at the house including swimming. We also had some friends and family visit us and the place was great for entertaining guests. I highly recommend staying here the host is very responsive and friendly. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you!

Pete was such an incredible host! My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be coming back. It is so peaceful and so quiet. We saw a few deer and lots of little animals in the surrounding area. The trees are beautiful and the air is so fresh and crisp. There’s so much to do in the house with dozens of board games, a bunch of movies and shows on dvd, a gaming console, fire place was so cozy, the hot tub was easy to work and was a great way to wind down our day! Definitely take advantage of the local sites like Trail of 100 Giants. The local market is adorable and everyone is so friendly. Looking forward to staying again soon!

Honestly the pictures don’t do this place justice it’s private we got to spend time unwind and just chill . You can tell the host go above and beyond for their guest and truly think of small details . We will definitely be coming back !

First time visiting the area with the kids, and this place was all we needed! Conveniently located in close proximity to the Kern river, and Lake Isabella! The place itself had was very clean, and offered the calm and comfort a family or a group of people would want to have; Whether to disconnect for a weekend gateway or for an even longer period. Would definitely like to come back one day here!!

Vista del Lago is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. The view of the lake is so peaceful and relaxing. I drank coffee every morning watching the sunrise. My 3 kids loved playing in the sunroom and being outdoors. We will definitely be back soon!

Christine’s place was a great stay for our week in Lake Isabella!! It’s in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, nice big back yard for our dog to roam around and to sit out at night to gaze at all the stars!!! Home was clean and looked just like listing. Bed was very comfortable with nice linens and pillows. Kitchen was well stocked to make meals, with nice pots and pans. Check in was easy and house was easy to find. It is a short drive into town(10 minutes) and into Kernville(20 minutes) The lake is so close and has so many spots to pull off and do a little fishing or just hang out. Lots of hiking trails, make the trip up to see the Trail of 100 Giants and Nobe Young Creek Falls!! Lastly Christine was a great host…..very responsive, and very sweet! Totally recommend Christine and her home.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would! I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs over the years, and this is by far the best experience I’ve had. I feel incredibly lucky to have discovered this peaceful paradise in Lake Isabella. The home is full of thoughtful touches and amazing amenities—jacuzzi, outdoor showers, a cozy fireplace, open campfire, and a beautiful outdoor seating area. The true highlight was the private lake access, plus the use of kayaks and a paddle board. My sister said, “This is the best kayak experience I’ve ever had.” The launch point is quiet, secluded, and away from crowds—something rare to find in Southern California. Water is refreshing and perfect for any time. Sarah and Deborah are truly exceptional hosts—kind, responsive, and full of care. Their hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. My family and I are already planning our next visit. This place is a hidden gem and an absolute dream getaway. Can’t recommend it enough!

Rustic Retreat was fabulous. Completely stocked (except a wine screw) , very spacious . Great distance to Fernville where we were meeting our granddaughter. Beds were very comfy. The living room furniture was awesome. Michelle was very accommodating to our early arrival and late departure. Would highly recommend 😀

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt just like home. The bed was super comfortable, and all the little touches—like fresh towels, toiletries, and a fully stocked kitchen—made a big difference. The location was perfect: quiet and safe, yet close to everything I needed. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly—they responded quickly and were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable visit! Super close to the lake loved it!

My family had a wonderful time catching up with each other. This place was the perfect place to host. Ed was helpful mentioning about the bugs, there were lots but it was good to be reminded of what to do to prevent the issues. The place was kinda hard to find but once we found it, it was easy to get to. The house was clean, the kitchen was huge, everything was more than what I can ask for to entertain our family! Thank you for letting us use your home for the weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Rachel’s place. The property is in a quiet location and a short drive from a lot of scenic trails. The Trail of 100 Giants is around an hour drive away and it was well worth a visit. The property was very clean, as described and is clearly well looked after. The jacuzzi was great to relax in after a long hike! Rachel was a friendly and attentive host. Thank you for a lovely few days!

Marni was very helpful from the moment I reserved the house. They greeted us after we arrived as she stays across the street so she is not far. We stayed less then 24 hrs but it was comfortable for the night. Heater worked great for the cold night. We used only the top floor because the second room is downstairs and my teenage daughter was scared to stay down there by herself lol. The view at night is beautiful and you can hear the river 24 hours out of the day and that is beautiful. Over all stay was quick but nice.

David's home in Kernville was a wonderful place for my friends and me! It was spacious and had plenty of seating. The kitchen was one of my favorite parts, with practically everything you need to make the meal you want. I appreciated even the smallest amenities such as the provided K-cups and water! Having a washer and dryer was a great convenience, and we were glad that we could adjust the AC to our liking!

The place was beautiful and stocked full of amenities. The host was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend, worth the price for sure.
