the Tower is not a job but a passion

TheoRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Relax and enjoy the many treasures of the tower and the surroundings. Ruvo de Puglia is a pleasant and authentic town, from where you can discover Puglia. We had the pleasure to sight a fox regularly and the many sounds of nature in the orchard were enticing. We used many herbs from the garden when cooking. Alessandra provided us with information about the herbs and nature in the orchard. Alessandra was a fantastic host, very informative and responsive. Our holiday was two weeks, during which we enjoyed ourselves more and more.

Alberto was very helpful, a source of valuable information about Grassano, Aliano, the life and works of Carlo Levi, of which he holds works and memories. We'll be back, I hope to have another time.

Irsina (MT) house with a view !

StefanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our stay at Niki's house in Irsina was really very nice. Getting there and walking to the house was fun. We arrived in the deepest fog in the evening (it felt like a Hitchcock crime novel), but the next day the sun appeared and opened up the expansive landscape around the city. Irsina is a great little town where you can find deep tranquility, but also a small number of wonderful gastronomic gems. The old town itself is quite extinct most of the time, apart from Piazza Garibaldi, where you meet. Local life is mostly in the main street of the newer suburb. The house and its decor corresponded entirely to the pictures and description. Highlighted is the great terrace with outdoor shower (don't be prude) and the comfortable beds. Some small things should be repaired on the upper floor. Niki is a super nice and helpful host! We would gladly return.

Casa Sirio Irsina - Luxury Life

DonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I had booked this house with a group of 7 people in order to visit family in a nearby village. With 7 people, we wanted something with at least 2 bathrooms and enough space to not be on top of each other. In addition, I always look for a place we can 'gather' after a long day and relax, the roof deck of this place is absolutely beautiful and thew views are stunning. The pictures 100% represent what the property is. Clean, updated/modern with just about every amenity you would need. Irsina is a quiet town, it seems many Americans and other nationalities are buying properties within the old village and fixing them up. At night, there are a few restaurants walking distance right outside the ancient town 'doors'. We did not eat in them as we spent most days and meals with cousins nearby. Our host, Christa, communicated with us in advance in order to coordinate our arrival time. One tip is to NOT follow your GPS to the exact address and meet at the Cathedral

House of the Stars – Castelmezzano

EricRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Spectacular views from this Airbnb, especially at night on the balcony. I really enjoyed my stay at Pierfeancesco / Antonello’s place. The kitchen was very useful because a lot of the restaurants were all booked during the weekend I visited Castelmezzano. Parking was challenging. But Pierfeancesco provided detailed instructions and a video. There are a lot of steps to climb in Castelmezzano to get to this Airbnb, so I recommend you find the place first and then bring your heavy luggage on a 2nd trip. Otherwise, I had a wonderful experience staying at Pierfeancesco / Antonello’s Airbnb. I definitely strongly recommend.

This is an ideal place from which to explore the eastern Basilicata as well as providing a stylish and quiet home base for a couple of days. Views from the terrace were very special.

La Casetta ("The little house")

PetraRating, 5 stars12 months ago
The place is absolutely fantastic! We were contacted immediately after our booking confirmation by Chris, who manages the apartment. Despite our late arrival, she was waiting for us to show us around the apartment and ensure we felt welcome and settled. The apartment is fabulous, featuring a lovely, spacious bedroom with a sofa and equipped kitchen that can easily be transformed into a working space. The town is filled with charming, romantic streets where locals greet you warmly. Even though we were unfortunate to experience a temporary water outage in the town, Chris was incredibly supportive throughout. She actively sought solutions and even arranged for us to move to another house to ensure we could enjoy our holiday to the fullest. Irsina is also a great base for visiting Matera, exploring nearby beaches, or even taking a guided tour of the ghost town. I highly recommend this accommodation!
