Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Inverness

We really enjoyed our time here and extended for an extra night. Majestic views of tomales bay/dillon beach from all rooms/deck and 5 min drive down hill to dillon beach which is dog friendly. The dogs had a blast splashing around in the natural tide pools at low tide.

We stay in airbnbs for work travel almost monthly. This is by far the most special house. The beds are so comfortable! That is a rarity. It's a fun house with tons of games and a great yard. I can't say enough about how great this house is. You can tell from the start how much the host puts into making sure his guests have a great time.

Beautiful home right in the middle of the dipsea trail stairs - go up the stairs to reach great hiking trails, down the stairs for great restaurants and shopping. Comfortable beds, clean and cozy home, responsive and friendly hosts. Be aware of the somewhat challenging parking - bring the small car. Absolutely worth it, we’d love to come back!

We had a magical multigenerational stay at Locke's house in Inverness with my husband, three year old and my parents. We visit Pt Reyes regularly and the location is absolutely perfect, quick walk across the road to Chicken Ranch Beach for kids to romp around, a quick drive into Pt Reyes station for dinner, and easy access to all the wonderful Pt Reyes trails. The house itself was cosy, quiet, had amazing views from the deck (and was sunny most of the day which is rare on this side of Tomales bay!) and felt like a real home. We really liked having the separate cottage to provide a bit more privacy and quiet with a young kiddo with us, and we found the kitchen was well equipped for cooking in the evenings. The only very minor challenge we had was trying to heat the cottage and main house evenly as they are on the same heating system, and the nights were chilly during our visit. Definitely staying here again on future trips to Pt Reyes.

A picturesque getaway! The property was so beautiful, the house was charming and laid out perfectly for multiple guests. We enjoyed every minute of our time in Sonoma. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in this home. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and a nice deck out back to take it all in. Everything was as-advertised and it was well equipped for light at home cooking. Great place to stay.

We loved every minute at Virginia’s place…it was one of our favorite Airbnbs ever! From the bottle of wine that greeted us upon arrival, to the lovely free pastries at the bakery to the hot tub under the stars and perfectly designed house…we didn’t want to leave!

While Mike was away on a trip, Lori went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed—and more. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome. She was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in creating a comfortable, personalized experience. She checked in with us just enough to make sure we were all set and shared amazing local tips that really made our trip extra special. We had a fantastic stay! Craig was incredibly responsive and was able to rent to us same day as we didn't want to leave Silverado Resort and beautiful Napa! The condo decor was stylish and modern with an upscale vide that fit perfectly with Silverado Resort. The unit is stand alone with no one upstairs which was a plus. Silverado Resort is a one-of-a kind complete destination resort with golf, pools, tennis, spa and restaurants. Added bonus we were less than 10 minutes to downtown Napa. Can't wait to come back!

The Hidden Gem is what it truly is…..a hidden gem! So beautifully decorated and furnished and so private. You are surrounded by lush greenery and complete quiet except for the birds and the rooster. What you saw on line in pictures is exactly what you got. We all enjoyed every minute. Thank you again for helping to make our niece’s graduation event so memorable. Nancy was great in her responsiveness. Would highly recommend.

I almost don't want to tell you how good this place is, so we can rent it again sometime. :-) But it's that good. We visited over spring break with our daughters, eight and 11, and had one of the most amazing stays we've ever had at an Airbnb. The home, the land, the pool, and the local area are all 100% amazing. And the sunsets. You know how you sometimes stay at Airbnb's where you feel like the hosts did the bare minimum to qualify to list it? This is *not* that place. There is everything you need and more. The Treehouse is a great place to stay in Sea Ranch. Close to the south end near the Lodge, it's close to beaches, recreation center, and hiking right outside your door. The house itself is spacious for a one bedroom. As other reviewers have noted, it looks even better in person than the pictures. Jill was a lovely host and was flexible when something for us came up. The house has everything you need. I would stay again!

Great as always, this was our 3rd time and I know we will be back!

Matthew’s home exceeded expectations and was incredibly cozy, private, spacious, clean, and spa-like. It was luxurious! It was very pet-friendly, I brought my Labrador with me and he loved lounging on the deck. The weather subsided (though I love the rain) all day Friday to allow for an entire day outdoors! The hot tub was clean and instructions were easy to follow. I loved that Matthew included local recommended spots to check out— I went to Russian River Brewing and Pacific Markets— both great spots with ample walking areas. The home decor is unique and has such character and charm without feeling like you’re stepping into “Magnolia Farms”— so far from it! There are beautiful works of art, antiques, classic and contemporary books; it’s lovely. Matthew is a responsive and kind, generous host. I found my stay tranquil and will be staying again as well as recommending to others! Matthew, thank you for providing a wonderful space for others to enjoy! All my best! Kaitlin & Buddy.

This was one of my favorite Airbnb stays—peaceful and serene, nestled among the redwoods. It felt like living in a treehouse.

It's a pleasure for me to drop 5 hard-earned star's on Annie's Monte Rio cabin. The location is private, homey and beautiful, with a general store and river access a mile away and all the services of Monte Rio town not much further. The property itself is large and nestled amongst the redwoods for privacy and serenity, both of which are easily appreciated from the hot tub. The host is incredibly responsive and proactive in her communications, we felt right at home as soon as we punched in the keypad code. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

This cottage is a little gem in a desirable part of the city. The upstairs sleeping loft is spacious and well laid out with plenty of closet and drawer space. We loved the thoughtful touches like high-quality coffee, a bottle of wine, extra sheets and towels, and attractive decor and books. Host Johnny was very responsive to our questions about the heating unit and fixed it right away. Not a problem for the physically agile, but guests should be aware that the outdoor side entrance is maybe 24 inches wide, and that the steep loft stairs are necessary to navigate to use the bathroom. Overall, a wonderful stay with a kind and thoughtful host!

Loved our stay with Maayan and Annie. Beautiful spot, carefully curated for style as well as comfort. Such attention to detail! The bathroom is gorgeous...everything was gorgeous. Internet signal was a spotty but that was beyond host's control. They were super responsive when I mentioned it and contacted the internet provider to trouble shoot. Luckily we didn't need to be online much during our stay. Highly recommend these hosts...they know what they are doing!

We loved our stay at the Mill Valley Chalet! We felt super comfortable and at ease right when we walked in - mellow/calming instrumental music was playing, what a nice touch :) Being surrounded by redwoods, in a home made from redwood trees was magical. We loved that we could walk across the street and down the stairs into town. There were various delicious restaurants (we highly recommend Flour Craft Bakery and Piazza D'Angelo) nearby as well as a market and little shops. Super close to incredible hikes in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (NPS) and Mt. Tamalpais too. We really loved sitting out on the decks amongst the redwoods, and even saw a buck with large fuzzy antlers. The kitchen has everything you need including cooking oil, coffee, tea, and spices; the showers had nice water pressure; and the beds were pretty comfortable - the downstairs bed was a little firm, and upstairs medium firm. Matt and Krisztina were easy to communicate with, too :)

We had the most incredible stay at Mama K’s! The property is absolutely stunning, nestled right on the Russian River with gorgeous views and a sense of peace that’s hard to describe. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed and at home. Also, the wildlife was great to watch out for! Many deer, birds (even eagles!) and foxes! The space was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed (lots of great updates!) with everything we needed. It was the perfect mix of comfort and charm, surrounded by nature’s beauty. Our dogs were in heaven! They loved exploring the property, lounging on the deck, and soaking up the fresh air. It’s not always easy to find a truly dog-friendly place that feels this special, but Mama K’s delivered on every level. We’re already planning our next visit. Thank you, Mama K, for sharing this magical place with us, we’ll definitely be back.

Surfers outlook is a beautiful spot. The studio had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Carey was a fantastic host. The view was amazing, we loved exploring the town, and had a great vacation. All the five star reviews and photos still don’t do it justice - you really just have to see for yourself! Highly recommend.
