Ganz in der Nähe des Standortes, am Fuße der Wimitzer Berge befindet sich auch der idyllisch gelegene Goggausee. Als kleiner Badesee auf halben Weg zwischen der Bezirksstadt Feldkirchen und der ländlichen Marktgemeinde Weitensfeld, liegt er fernab von touristischen Zentren in einem Landschaftsschutzgebiet. Das Berghäuschen umfasst etwa 59 m² Wohnfläche, verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmern, 1 Wohn– und Essraum mit Küche, sowie 2 Bäder und eine etwa 13 m² große Terrasse. Es liegt auf ca. 1000m Seehöhe.

Franzosenstüberl am Katschberg

The Franzosenstüberl is a rustic old grain box and offers the highest living culture for two to four people on 40 m2 (two floors). On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen/living room, a small bathroom with shower and toilet, hairdryer and plenty of shelves as well as stereo system and Wi-Fi. The upper floor consists of living room, built-in double bed and single bed as well as a couch (also a crib is possible). A flat-screen TV is available for long evenings.

Whether summer or winter, this stylish cabin offers the perfect accommodation for four in about 50 square meters. It is located on a sunny hillside. This quaint retreat is not far from the Mölltal Glacier Railway and many excursion destinations for hiking, climbing, skiing/hiking, canoeing and much more. The house is the ideal starting point for hikers, climbers, cyclists, skiers. In the immediate vicinity are the artists' town of Gmünd, the Katschberg, the Goldeck and Lake Millstatt.

Our cottage is located just a little off the nearest traffic routes (road, train) and yet immersed in nature at the foot of the mighty Grimming. It is only about 30 km to Schladming or Ausseerland.
