Beachfront holiday rentals in Ingonish Beach

Wonderful place to stay. We met some less than ideal weather for adventuring with our 2 year old and couldn’t have picked a better spot to lay low for a couple nights. The space is beautiful and yet the setting steals the show. The team is working very hard to ensure the experience of staying at Ridge on the Chimney is a once in a lifetime.

Lovely home, privately situated next to the sea. The views were spectacular. The home was very neat and clean and very well maintained. It wasn't too far from the town of Baddeck where we got provisions and visited very good restaurants. We loved our stay at this home. Richard did a good job as our host. Thank you!

Had all basic necessities in the house. Andrea was helpful when we had any questions. Since it's near waters a bug spray will be really helpful.

We stayed a week in Nadene’s cottage in Ingonish and it was perfect for us. The location is excellent and the proximity to the beach and views are exceptional. The cottage is equipped with everything you need for cooking or grilling and the satellite TV was a bonus. We’ve stayed at a number of places over the years in Ingonish area and none are better than Nadene’s. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time in Cheticamp. John was helpful for suggestions about hiking and restaurants. I would highly recommend his beautiful place.

We had a great 3 night stay at this campsite! This spot was easy to find and we loved how private it was. Kristy & Michael were very kind and responsive as well. We would definitely choose this campsite again when we return back to beautiful Cape Breton!

We stayed for 3 nights 6 adults , 2 dogs. The space was wonderful, clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the bedding was lovely. The dogs loved the open space outside plenty of room to run. Lovely campfire pit and benches. I would stay again in future. One recommendation I have is to have a blender for cooking and drinks of course! Thank you Brian your cottage was awesome!

Quant place is an amazing location. Everyone was friendly. It is tucked away at the end of a long dirt road and has a gate to go through. While all the waterfront is private, we were told by a local we could enjoy the beautiful white sand beach. The loft is a little low. It was find for my kids but I’m 6’ and I hit my head. There is a giant screen and a projector which was nice for those rainy nights. The kitchen was well supplied and we appreciated the snacks left for us at check in.

This is a great place to stay. We were lucky to stay here for work last week and we’ve booked again for next week. We always stay in a nice place when we are away for work, but it’s rare you get a place that you can’t wait to go back to every night!!

The hot tub was the best one we’ve ever had at any other Airbnb! The view was stunning. A perfect place to get away to for the weekend with your girlfriends !

Capers Landing was a wonderful gem we discovered during our visit to Nova Scotia. Nikki has put a great deal of thought and planning into making the home comfortable and delightfully decorated. Her attention to detail really shows. A high priority for us is how kitchens are equipped. This kitchen was both well equipped, modern and had stunning views of the waterfront. The Internet was very fast. The beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms had a luxury appointments. Our only wish is we had planned a longer stay. It is clear why this home gets so booked up. As I unloaded my bags from the car Michael came out and greeted me. He explained the rules of the property and a little bit about the surrounding area as well as offering up the use of the use of the fire pit, canoes and picture perfect lake. That was the last time I saw him because they give you complete and total privacy. Highlights include - Fast internet and full list of streaming services already set up - Natural spring water from the taps - Laundry - Kierug coffee and a perculator - Very clean house. My only regret was to not be able to spend more time on this beautiful property. Too many activities planned. 10/10 would rent again.

WOW, WOW, WOW! What an incredible stay at the beach house. From the breathtaking views, to the amazing sleeps in the bunkie to the privacy and of course the outdoor shower! This was an experience everyone needs to have in my books. Plus, Cora is such a heartfelt, kind, responsive host/human. She made our stay as comfortable as possible. Book now, you'll be happy you did ;)

This place is a gem for anyone looking to relax, let go, and keep it simple. Which we were. We also appreciated the food and drinks Kent provided. We hope to return.

What a beautiful place! We loved the cottage and its location was wonderful for our exploration of this part of Cape Breton. It was only about 40 minutes to Baddeck and 1:45 to Fortress Louisbourg. It was well equipped and spacious - perfect for the four of us. The loft was great for my 18 year old nephew who was up later than the rest and the other two bedrooms are at opposite sides of cottage - great for sleeping! Unfortunately, it was grey and rainy for most of our stay so we did not get to enjoy the patio much at all. It must be wonderful in the sunny weather, though! The screened in area was great (we did get an hour without rain one evening). There was lots of room for us inside to hang out during the rainy days and the big windows with the view of the lake made being inside not so bad! The property feels very private. Even though there is a trailer park nearby, we were completely unaware of it when at the cottage. Not much close by but be sure to eat at Charlene’s!

The cottage is absolutely beautiful with its beachy vibe. I loved the design and layout of it. IVB was the perfect place to stay with lovely restaurants close by. Sitting on the deck or inside the cottage gave you a perfect view of the sandy beach. The heated cottage kept us cozy warm during the cool October nights. I had the best sleep. The hosts are lovely and very responsive. We definitely will be returning in the future.

Chris's home is truly a slice of heaven! we spent a week in this beautiful chalet on a private beach. We use Airbnb a lot and this house and location was one of our favorite. SO peaceful and relaxing,SO comfortable and beautiful, really felt like home away from home for our large family. Right off the Cabot trail, we were able to take day trips around Cape Breton Island and enjoy everything the area had to offer. Chris was super helpful and communication was quick and easy. HIGHLY recommend this Airbnb!

This Airbnb was everything it said it was in the description and more. A great layout, well equipped with everything you need, easy access and a stunning view in a lovely town. Highly recommend!

My husband, our Bernese Mt. dog and myself stayed at this exceptional property. We travel frequently and this is without question our favorite Airbnb to date. We were welcomed with a sweet treat and wine. There were bowls & a comfy bed for our pup. I loved that the hosts send daily texts with itinerary suggestions. The ocean views are stunning. The beach is private and serene. The restaurant suggestions in the guidebook are wonderful. The Woodroad experience was fantastic. The property is about 30-35 minutes to enter the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The Skyline Trail is located about 15 minutes from the park entrance and a great day trip from the Airbnb. We also had easy access to the Celtic Shores Coastal Trail in Inverness for biking/hiking. Finally, we had the pleasure of meeting Scott who took the time to point out Pilot Whales in the cove which could be seen from the deck/hot tub. Every detail of this property is meticulously addressed. We can’t wait to stay again.
