Thiushanj along with the chef and housekeeper was extremely welcoming and friendly they accommodated every need of ours from food to some shoppings which included from liqueurs to medicines and to a birthday cake which we requested from a place almost an hour ago highly recommend the place . Staying with Thisarn and family was like Airbnb used to be - unique, special and like you were invited into the real heart of the country you are visiting. I felt so lucky to experience this little piece of paradise in the rice paddies. It was so peaceful to just sit and watch the nature. Such a calming place! Thisarn was so kind to escort me on a tour of the rainforest for a very reasonable fee, and is an expert at spotting creatures and making the whole experience fun. Meals were delicious and had that extra home cooked love! I would recommend this place to anyone who loves being in nature and just soaking up the local vibes of this small village. Also recommend using the infinity pool up the road by the national park entrance for a small fee. And swimming in the river near Thisarns home is lovely too. Thanks to Thisarn and family for their kindness.

I stayed in few places during my visit to Sri Lanka and this was the best place out of all 3. The apartment was really beautiful and luxurious. Had a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea and a beautiful infinity pool. Staff were friendly and the host was very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely come back here

Chanuka and the family members helped us during our stay for close to a week. They were very responsive to all the requests we made. Common facilities at the resort (restaurant and pool) were in great condition too which made the money we paid totally worth it. We would stay at Chanuka's place again. all the best.

The place is simply stunning. Sanira was an outstanding host. He was very accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed the utmost Sri Lankan hospitality during our stay. All the staff at Canterburry were very helpful and friendly. The place was super clean and tidy and yet filled with everything for our comfort and convenience. The apartment has a great view facing the Canterburry golf course. The property is conveniently located close to Highway entrance and had all the amenities we needed. Swimming pool and the gym was very clean and well maintained. Security in this place is outstanding. We are definitely booking this place for our next visit in Sri Lanka.

What a gem of an Airbnb! Roshan's newly built house truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how spotlessly clean it was. The kitchen is fantastically equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bedrooms are wonderfully cozy – perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location is ideal, offering easy access to the main road, which meant restaurants and shops were just a stone's throw away. Roshan is an absolute delight as a host; his responsiveness and genuine care for our comfort were evident throughout our stay. He continuously checked if we needed anything, which we really appreciated. We can't wait to visit again!
