Richard himself was very friendly and helpful when 'needed' . I had 2 dogs with me one 10 one only 9 months so it was important the garden was secure which it was as was the paddock . The cottage is a short drive from the sea and beach but its a very easy drive . Totally enjoyed the week there

Showman's Wagon

LucyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A very peaceful stay at the wagon and ideal for attending a wedding at Waxham Barns just down the road. A beautiful spot and felt very private. Alison was also incredibly friendly and helpful when we accidentally managed to lock ourselves out(!) providing us with a spare key immediately. Highly recommend a stay for peace and quiet!

Kingfisher's Retreat

LauraRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had an incredibly peaceful and relaxing stay at Kingfisher Retreat on Mill Farm. The safari-style tent was beautifully designed and tucked away in a secluded spot, offering complete privacy away from the main campsite. It was immaculately clean when we arrived and fully equipped for a comfortable stay - though a toaster would have been a nice little addition. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic, with underfloor heating that made it warm and cozy morning and night. Although we spent most days exploring the Norfolk area, we could have easily spent all our time at the retreat, soaking up the sun and enjoying the tranquility. Communication before our visit was smooth, and we received a warm welcome from Lillie. The fresh bread, milk, and eggs were thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Overall, it was a truly peaceful and private escape - perfect for switching off and reconnecting with nature. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

Luxury shepards hut in Norfolk. New for 2022!

IndiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay at Lexy's. The location is perfect - in walking distance of a nature reserve, close to shops (including a farm shop where you can pick your own strawberries) and 20 mins from a beach where we saw lots of seals! The shepherds hut was clean and well stocked, it had everything you need. It's set in the garden of a beautiful cottage, with lots of other cabins around which gives the place a community feel. It was very peaceful and quiet. We loved using the gas BBQ in the outdoor kitchen, and the beautiful pond on-site was always full of wildlife. We'd definitely stay again, and maybe get a treatment next time!

Edelweiss Holiday Cottage

RaeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Edelweiss Cottage is lovely - spacious enough for 3 adults and 3 excited small dogs without losing the lovely cosy cottage feel. We all had a great time - walks along Happisburgh beach and an afternoon snuggled up in the fleece blankets kindly provided by Tracie while we watched the rain come down outside! Very welcoming and dog friendly; milk in the fridge for us & a water bowl outside for the dogs, a secure garden and a hosepipe to wash muddy paws after a run through the farmyard! The café on the way to the beach has great bacon rolls, dogs are welcome in the garden area
