It's quite a good place to stay if you're traveling on a budget. The staff is friendly and responsive.

We booked Harshit’s place for 2 nights on New years. I did the booking very hastily, just going by the reviews. But after visiting the place, i can say that it surpassed all of our expectations. 2 days at Old British house turned out be just the kind of escape we had been looking for. We were mesmerised by the old, rustic charm of this place and how well it is preserved over generations. Rooms were spacious with artfully decorated corners, clean beddings and neat bathroom. This was more like a bonding vacation for the kids ( 4 year old & 6 year old) who were meeting after a year. And at Old British house we didn’t had to take any extra effort to keep them busy. They enjoyed early morning encounters with monkeys, spotted new birds, climbed mango tress and ran around the spacious lawn. Bon fires & start gazing at night were great too. A very special mention to mr. Raj for accommodating all of our requests. Thank you Sehgal family for a memorable stay. Looking forward to visit again.

Even though the duration of our stay was brief, we were welcomed with warm smiles from the very start by our host Suryan (who gave me tips on how to cycle !!) and Ayappan, the really helpful man at the reception. A setting with calmness in tow, there were butterflies and cats circling the block all over. The room we were given was really well looked after and there was no inadequacy that came up during our stay. Besides that, there are some really awesome local cafes and stores that are at a walkable distance (although having a vehicle would be the way to go.) All in all, a stay worth the price and we will definitely visit again someday 🫶🏽

I stayed overnight with my family on my way to Varanasi. It was a great place.

A treasure of a hotel.. walk back in time with Deco elegance, marble and reed glass.. the rooms are huge and it’s quiet at night despite a city location. Sachin, his wife and the staff are so welcoming, enthusiatic and helpful and made us feel at home.. The location is a short tuk tuk ride to station and the golden temple and also lovely tea stalls and local restaurants a stones throw from the hotel.. www would rec this as a place to stay in Amritsar with a personal Touch

Highly recommended! I am so glad I selected this place for my stay in Jaisalmer. Now I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. This is a family establishment run directly by two brothers (Chimmy and Lala) and a small extremely friendly, helpful staff. They are devoted to the family hotel and go out of their way to make the stay as comfortable, enjoyable, and peaceful as possible. There are two terraces: the lower one looks out onto the narrow but bustling street; the higher one gives a view of the Jaisalmer Fort. Both are extremely comfortable for reading and, of course, dining. The breakfasts (as noted by other guests during me stay) is excellent! I also took my dinner here, four of the five nights of my stay. Lala is a devoted cook—he learned from his grandmother—and from the menu he would make recommendations based on my interests and mood. I stayed a fifth night because my flight back to Delhi was cancelled due to fog. They insisted on freshening my room, which was a welcome gesture!

Prefect place and great food

the stay was wonderful, it was a clean, calm and beautiful place. The price could be much lower as other listings nearby have much lower price.

I had an amazing stay at Manora Homes! The hosts were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make my experience memorable. They even took me on a bike ride through the city, which was such a unique and enjoyable way to explore. They assisted me in purchasing train tickets, making my travel plans so much easier. The room and the entire place were immaculately clean, and as a single woman traveler, I felt very safe and well looked after throughout my stay. Additionally, they kindly allowed me a later check-out as the next guests for my room weren’t arriving until much later—such a thoughtful gesture! The family is very cultured, with a deep knowledge of the city and the traditions of the temple in Amritsar, which they were happy to share. Their warmth and genuine care made my stay unforgettable. I cannot recommend Manora Homes enough!

Shashi has one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed in. 1) The room is spacious with a living room .There is also a small nook in the living room, with mattress and cushions on the floor. 2) The ambience of the entire place is truly a standout feature. Balcony is a great place to relax with amazing lightning, clean air and flower plants. 3) Food: You can order food using a menu which will be in the living room. Shashi is a great cook, so you can enjoy good home made food. You don't feel the need to go out for dining.. There is also a kitchen with induction and basic utensils for cooking. 4) The room ensures your privacy as it is situated on the 1st floor with a separate staircase. Lastly, Shashi is a great host. She is very warm, friendly and pro-active. Also enjoyed our time with cloud(dog). Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Had a wonderful stay! The room was cozy, clean, and perfect for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent — close to all the main spots, which made getting around really convenient. Also loved the restaurant at the property; the food was delicious and added to the overall experience. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

It was a memorable stay. The hosts were extremely courteous and hospitable. Aditya was very helpful in guiding us to the right places in Udaipur and also arranging reliable local conveyance. His wife was excellent in the kitchen as well. We had tasty and delicious menu. Very reasonably priced as well. Overall it was an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and bathrooms were spic and span. The stay had all the comforts of a Hotel and warmth of a home! Thanks to Aditya, his family and the staff for making our holiday very special. Would strongly recommend tourists to avail this facility.

Getting to the location is a bit of a hassle, mate. There’s a lot of traffic and the roads aren’t exactly great for sedans. You’ll be driving through big potholes and narrow roads that could easily damage your car. SUVs might have a bit more trouble getting around, but the stay itself is amazing! The rooms are super spacious and clean, and the staff is really friendly and helpful.

Nestled on a quaint area.Sheena's place was super warm accommodation. We had a seemless trip from the day we booked our Stay for our big bunch of people. Full value for money. No complaints at all. Highly recommend the listing...kudos to the full team.

The hotel staff very responsive from the time of our booking - they helped arrange transportation from the airport as well as coordinating everything we'd need to have on hand for check-in. During our stay, they were great about assisting with anything we needed, including providing local recommendations. The rooms were clean and comfortable - the AC + fan was a welcome relief from the heat. I enjoyed the different daily breakfasts they offered and common areas were nice to relax in. The location was a little off the beaten path but that just added to the calm & quiet. It was still very easy to walk to the main roads with all the restaurants and shops as well as the beach. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a quieter (but still very accessible) place to stay in Goa!

Captain is super friendly. He helped us to provide utmost hospitality. He arranged the shikara for Early morning floating vegetable with Abrar Hussain. I would recommend to take this experience which will be worth it. The heating in the houseboat is very good. They provided soulful dinner for my dad i.e. Dal, Rice. Moreover they provided chai and traditional sweets in the brealfast. You need not to worry of the baggage carrying to the house boat who will help you to reach the House boat easily. The rooms are cosy and comfortable for three people which we stayed. The view of the Nigeen Lake is wonderful, peaceful. I would recommend to experience the warm hospitality of the one of the oldest Houseboat in the City (Srinagar) at Nigeen Lake. Keep it up! 👍

I had a wonderful stay. value for money and location.

This was my first solo trip, and like any other female I too was bit nervous. But the moment I entered the place, it just felt like home. The Hosts Reema and Simon took care of me like their own, and also took me for tour. They asked me what kind of places Id like to explore, and basis on my description they took me to the best places. I was looking for anything away from chaos to connect with myself, and that's what the hosts made possible. During the tour, it did not feel like roaming with any stranger, it simply felt like hanging with family that's how much warm and welcoming both of them were. The stay place is really very peaceful, the rooms are very cozy. It felt so much like my own room, that as I entered the room I would make sure that everything is placed at the right place, and it is clean and tidy. I would never do that In a hotel room. The hosts were always approachable and just one call away for any kind of help. Loved being around them in their property and Goa too.

I went there with friends and we had a wonderful stay at Casual Monks! The place is peaceful, beautifully designed, and perfect for unwinding. It has a calm vibe that immediately makes you feel relaxed and at home. The road leading to the property is a bit rough, so be ready for a bit of a bumpy ride — but trust me, it’s totally worth it. Once you arrive, the peaceful surroundings and warm atmosphere make it all worthwhile. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming — you can really tell they care about creating a great experience for their guests. They were always around if we needed anything, and happy to chat or offer recommendations. The food was another highlight — delicious, freshly prepared, and clearly made with love. Every meal felt like a treat. The common area was also a great space to hang out, with cozy seating and a bunch of fun games to pass the time. If you’re looking for a peaceful, unique getaway with great vibes and kind people, Casual Monks is the perfect spot

Me and my wife stayed for 3 days, it was an awesome experience. Location is great, it has its own garden and backyard as well, very peaceful. Rohit and Anshul both are really nice guys and very helpful, always smiling. Highly recommended, would be more than happy to stay here again.

Had a lovely stay at Manalsu in Gangtok! The highlight was definitely the hospitality .. Chef Roshan prepared delicious, homely meals with a touch of local Sikkimese flavor that made us feel right at home. Abhimanyu was an exceptional host, checking in on us daily and suggesting great local spots to explore. The overall vibe of the place is warm and welcoming – a great base to enjoy Gangtok. Do keep in mind that occasional power cuts can happen, but that’s a general issue in Sikkim, not just here. All in all, highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great food, and genuine hospitality!
