Wonderful, quaint cottage. Great for our family of 3. Extremely clean and had everything necessary for our trip. Great location with 30-60 minute drives to all the sites on the Golden Circle, Reykjavík and other interesting destinations. Highly recommend as a base camp for exploring South Iceland.

We had a very great stay in Hafsteinns house and enjoyed the house and the surroundings very much. The house was well equipped with everything you need. We had a problem with the pool (the water pipe was frozen), but Hafsteinn reacted very quickly and send a plumber the next day to fix it. On the negative side, there is a bit of a lack of storage space for personal belongings and actually only one bedroom is an actually separated room, the other two "rooms" are open to the living area.

We loved our stay. The host was responsive and helpful, offering tips and suggestions. We had a lovely horse ride and enjoyed the views of the horses and foals from the hot tub. Lots of things to do with 15-60 minutes drive. If you visit Thingvellir National Park, return via route 360 for amazing views. Would definitely stay here again!

One of the best places we stayed while in Iceland. We were able to walk to the private black sand beach to watch the sunset. So picturesque and beautiful. The yurt was very comfortable. The heated beds were perfect. Even caught a glimpse of the northern lights! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Great cabin at a great location, close to lots of nice sightseeing. The cabin itself feels very homey, and had lots to play with for our 1,5 yo old son. Agnes is a great host as well!

Our stay was perfect. The cabin was great and exactly as shown in the pictures. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances for a small kitchen. Eggert was quick to respond and check-in was easy and smooth. Great overall experience and would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing place. We sat in the hottub at night with - 10 degrees while it was pitch black. A moment we will never forget. The place looked even better than on the pictures. We cooked at the place two nights, the oven is amazing and all the equipment is there. Linda responded very quick and was very nice. Thank you Linda!!

We have enjoyed this place, very peaceful and perfectly situated to visit the Golden Circle sites. The housing is quite basic, but sufficient and very comfortable. We recommend this place.

Gunnsa was the most gracious and responsive host! Her home is beautifully appointed and has easy access to main roads and the grocery store. It’s a quick drive into Reykjavík city. Would highly recommend staying here- our family of 6 loved it!

We spent a wonderful two days in Kristin's Selfoss home and had a great time! Kristin is extremely friendly and helpful, she responded to our every question quickly and with great information. The house's location is magical with a beautiful view of the river. It's very clean, close to attractions and conveniences, well stocked and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the kitchen and washer/dryer. Our stay here and Kristin served as an excellent introduction to Iceland and we're very grateful for that! Stay here, you won't regret it!

The farm stay was exactly what we wanted for our time in Iceland. We also reached out to get a tour of the stable and see the horses and I would HIGHLY recommend it - it was the highlight of the trip for me!

If you are looking to stay near the National Park and enjoy a private, incredibly quite relaxing trip, this is the most amazing choice. For us this home was the perfect space, incredible design, stunning views with impeccable lighting. We needed to rest and relax while exploring the vast landscape of Iceland and this was beyond perfect. We will absolutely be back.

Lovely stay. Not far from town. Loved the horse view out the front and back. Not far from town to go for dinner(15 min drive). Room was very comfortable.

We, My husband and our two adult children, enjoyed our stay in beautiful Iceland staying at Ernas place. The house is really clean and nice and it is fantastic to follow the daily chances of landscape from the livingroom room and the terrace. Erna and her sons helped us in connection with a few situations we could not resolve ourselves. My kids and I loved this cozy cabin. Lots of natural light from the windows. The duvets were so fluffy and warm that we didn’t get out of bed. The kitchen has everything you need for simple meals. We appreciated that basics like coffee, salt and pepper, along with shampoo and conditioner were provided. My daughter took a lesson with Sigga and loved it. The town which is super close has a nice playground, that was another plus for us.
