Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hvar Port

Our family’s stay at Žarko’s place in Rudina was incredible. We felt right at home during our two week stay. The town of Rudina is quaint and lovely and we felt very welcomed by the locals. With Stari Grad just a short drive down the hill, it was very easy to get to the market, bakery, or restaurants when desired while still enjoying the peace and quiet of the hills outside of town. Our children enjoyed many days and evenings playing in the beautiful gardens. Žarko and his family are lovely hosts and we will surely come back to visit again someday.

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would! This is the nicest airbnb we have ever stayed in! We did not want to leave. We were amazed that Mirko came to pick us up from the ferry port and dropped us off when we checked out, too (saving us 2 taxi rides!). He and Zrinka were so responsive and provided great local recommendations. They provided plenty of towels, including beach towels, and had everything in the kitchen that I would have at home. The walk into town was a 15- minute beautiful stroll along the coastline. It was close enough to the city center to get there walking, but far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful. There's a market right down the street that worked great for getting breakfast and lunch supplies. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Hvar!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at the penthouse that offered great space and amenities and it was a short walk to town. Would definitely stay here with our family again! Thank you!

Es war einfach nur schön! Das Apartment, die Aussicht, die Küste, der Garten - einfach alles! Dank Nebensaison waren wir fast alleine und haben die Zweisamkeit genossen. Ivan war super höflich und hilfsbereit! Das Sahnehäubchen war für uns der super süße schielende Kater, der auf einmal auftauchte. Nicht nur seinetwegen werden wir sicherlich nochmal wiederkommen!

This was one of our favourite stays in Croatia. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations. Spacious apartment, perfectly equipped, tastefully furnished and sparkling clean. Quietly located, with fantastic views of the sea. This accommodation is outstanding. Natali is a warm, helpful and reliable hostess. We hope that we can come back one day.

My whole family was obsessed with this place. The adults loved the beautiful scenery and the peacefulness and the kids loved the hot tub and the swings. The house is adorable and very nice and the views were even better than the pictures. We loved meandering around Humac and being close to so many interesting small villages to explore. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat on the island of Hvar, you will be hard pressed to find something better than Mario’s place.

By far the best Airbnb stay I've ever had! Josipa and her father were kind enough to transfer us to and from the Hvar town to the apartment (apartment is on a steep hill with steps). Josipa was really friendly and shared us some of her favourite restaurants and things to do on the island. The apartment was beyond incredible, the rooms were perfectly air conditioned and she provided lots of useful amenities including beach towels, slippers and a washing machine. The view was beautiful, you can see the Pakleni islands very clearly and Vis in the background. The hot tub was easy to use and fantastic in the evening. There were also plenty of furniture including sunbeds. The location was brilliant, it was only a 15 minute walk to a nearby public beach and was fairly easy to walk up and down to town in the evening, although be cautious during midday as there isn't much shade. There is also a supermarket about 15 mins away a few streets down. Great for couples or up to four people!

Maya, her son, and father are amazing!!! Very friendly and accommodating. We spent the most time here during our 2 week Euro trip. Fantastic views from the balcony and a great place to relax with lounge chairs and a table to eat at. Right on the water with a great walk down to the shore where you can jump right into the sea! Space was modern, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was SO nice. By far the nicest bathroom of anywhere we stayed. Maya's father took us out on his boat with his beagle. It was amazing. He knew the best spots, shared cool information/stories. It was a very authentic/non touristy experience. Maya let us borrow snorkel gear and that was beyond awesome because we snorkeled in the sea by the house but also on our boat trip which was truly special. She also provided homemade olive oil which was divine. WONDERFUL experience and stay.

Margita’s place was great for us— very close to the main strip on Hvar town, but just far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. I spent 1 morning on the patio reading, and it was lovely. The washing machine works well. AC works well. Shower works well. I would recommend this place and I would stay again.

Litet och enkelt ställe men hade allt vi behövde för ett boende fyra dagar. Läget är superbra väldigt nära till allt. Katja som värd svarade alltid och var hjälpsam, pålitlig och flexibel. Här bor ni tryggt och bra!!

Lidija was wonderful to work with. Her property was pristine and in the heart of Hvar. It was a perfect location!

Excellent séjour passé dans ce logement. Très bonne communication et réactivité, l’hôte répond vite et donne des informations sur la ville très utile et pratique. Nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux. Le logement est très bien équipé bien plus que mentionné, cela est très agréable. Il est très propre et l’hôte veille à ce que tout aille bien. C’est un endroit très agréable, calme et magnifique. Nous recommandons 👍

A fabulous apartment which was perfect for us. Having your own beach shared with the other apartments was perfect. About 25 minute walk into Hvar. We had a lovely time - we are at the nearby pizzaria where the food and views were amazing. We visited mlini beach by water taxi which was great. The hotel next door does lovely coffee. Our favourite bar Falkos was about a 10 minute walk. So many restaurants in Hvar it’s hard to choose. Shop nearby with all basics. Nira is a great host and very responsive. Would recommend this place if you want a relaxing beach stay just outside of the busy town.

It was a beautiful stay and closely located to gorgeous beaches and the port. Ivana was very responsive and friendly. The Air BnB was very spacious and had great facilities. The tea available was a lovely feature. I highly recommend this place for a memorable stay in Hvar 💛

Logement au calme dans une belle résidence. 10-15 minutes du centre ville.

I highly recommend this accomodation to anyone. We were super comfortable here and the balcony was Everything 🙌. The view and location is perfect. Car space right at your door. The bed was super comfy too. Kids were happy is a seperate room with the sofa bed. Very clean also. We will definitely return in future. The two Aircon’s are great. We Loved our stay 😊

C'était un super séjour. Peta est très accueillant. Hyper réactif, attentionné ! Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Brusje est un petit village paisible en plein cœur des champs de lavande. Accessible en scooter depuis Hvar. Le logement est propre, la terrasse privative est top pour des dîners face aux couchers de soleil. Et la piscine au milieu du jardin est idéal pour se rafraîchir. Rien à dire sur ce logement ! Il est juste parfait. N'oubliez pas de passer au coin de la rue faire un coucou à la maman de Peter. Elle vend des produits à base de lavande. Elle est très chaleureuse et gentille ! Je recommande les yeux fermés ! Merci encore.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Mario. La villa est aussi belle que bien équipée, et nous y avons trouvé tout le confort nécessaire. Merci encore pour votre accueil !

We had the most wonderful stay at villa bella. The photos do not do it justice, it has the most breathtaking views. It’s so well priced seeing as it has the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen. The villa was completely spotless, spacious and so homely. We all really enjoyed our stay here. Filip is the most amazing host! I stayed with my grandparents, they arrived before me, Filip picked my grandparents up from the ferry and settled them in. He also went above and beyond, took them food shopping, helped them book taxis and the ferry back. He also met my husband and I at the ferry and helped us to a taxi. He was here early morning every morning to clean the pool. I was always asleep but my nan was normally up and she loved their little chats, she thinks he’s wonderful! He also brought croissants He is honestly so amazing and so kind and really goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect.

Great Airbnb in Hvar, close to the harbour, restaurants and beaches. Really clean and useful to have a small kitchen in the apartment for breakfast! Nice pool area up a few steps from this apartment, great to lay for a few hours & chill. Doris and Tonko are great hosts and were very responsive.

Not even sure where to start. Jelena’s home is simply amazing. The setting, the location, the amenities, the proximity to Bol (walkable) were all top notch. We’ve stayed in countless vacation homes in many countries and this one is among the best!

Ce logement à été loué suite à un changement de destination de voyage qui à été fait la dernière minute. Cet imprévu est rapidement devenu la plus belle surprise de notre voyage en Croatie! Nous avons été complètement enchantés lors de notre arrivé au logement. L'acceuil fort sympathique et chaleureuse de Sonja nous à tout de suite mis a l'aise. L'emplacement est situé dans un paysage d'une beauté à couper le souffle ! Un logement très propre, bien organisée et bien équipée. Nous nous sommes senties comme à la maison et même en mieux ! Notre seul regret est de ne pas avoir trouvé cette perle avant et de ne pas y avoir été plus longtemps. Merci Sonja pour ton hospitalité et ton bel acceuil.

Place was in a quiet neighbourhood. Marija and Marco are always responsive and happy to help in any need. The rooms are not big, but good for a couple of days with all basic amenities. They also added a microwave after I inquired, was not listed, but added later. They also offered us a pickup and dropoff (cheaper option than taxi). The pool is small, but good. Our toddler was so happy, she liked Marco and Marija a lot. 1km walk from the main port, which is uphill and exactly 9 stairs. Breakfast is also inculded, which is a great bonus. Would love to be there again!
