Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Hvalfjarðarsveit

The communication with Helga was very easy. The apartment was big and spacious and looked like the pictures. Big bathroom with everything you need (even laundry machine and dryer). 20min walk to the city center which is very doable as you walk along the shopping street. Just a shame that the windows were not really clean to enjoy the beautiful sunset from the apartment. Otherwise all was clean and good! Thanks for the nice stay. :)

Thordis has a beautiful apartment in a lovely neighborhood.The place was immaculate upon arrival. A highlight for us each morning was watching the seals congregate on a little island in the sea, which we could see from the back yard. Thordis was a great communicator and super helpful when we asked advice about the places we wanted to visit. We would definitely book her place again!

My husband and I had a great stay here. The place was very comfortable and we appreciated having a washer and a well equipped kitchen. Being close to grocery stores was great and the area is very walkable. We did rent a car to go exploring and was able to park right in front of the airbnb. My favourite was the view of the mountain from the window! Thanks for a great stay :)

Svava's place was perfect for our first trip to Reykjavik. We loved the location, close to the cathedral, shopping and restaurants. Her directions about getting to the apartment and getting inside were complete and helpful. The apartment was clean and cosy, and had everything we needed. Svava helped us find a place to buy a small appliance we needed. One note: the floors coverings have concrete underneath. Since you'll be taking off your shoes inside, you may eant to bring slippers.

Unbeatable location! 5 min to bus stop 1 which is a key bus pick up location for all trips and tours-- including the airport for back home. Extremely clean and exactly as pictured. Comfortable beds too. Would recommend and stay again!

Wonderful apartment in an ideal location - a couple blocks from the Skolavordustigur (rainbow) street but in a quiet area just far enough to avoid any street noise. Nice views from the windows. Well outfitted apartment with all the conveniences. Free parking was a very nice feature. Although no reserved spot, there were always spots available for us in the apartment building lot.

The host was very polite and responsive. The location was amazing. We found everything we expected and had a great time in the cottage.

I definitely recommend this beautiful and cozy cottage with a thermal pool, surrounded by beautiful Icelandic nature. The owners were always very friendly and helpful 😊

We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. Our 4 night stay in Larus’ Lakefront Villa & nearby attractions of the Golden Circle were one of the highlights of our trip-we highly recommend! His home is spectacular in every way, including a hot tub, sauna, a large living room/gathering space w/well appointed kitchen. Directly on a lake, without others in close proximity, it’s ideal for those that want to experience the splendor of this part of Iceland more privately. As a host, Larus goes above & beyond! We had brought some equipment to fish the river 100 yards away, but not small enough tackle. When we emailed him asking location of a tackle shop, after returning from a daily activity, we were surprised & delighted to find 2 more rods & 2 new trays of tackle appropriate for the trout in the river; giving 4 of our group the chance to do some fishing in Iceland. Fantastisk beliggenhet, fine rom med god plass til hele gjengen vår på 14. Fine og store bad, velutstyrt kjøkken og plass til alle rundt spisebordet. Bjarni svarte kjapt og produktivt. Vi vil absolutt anbefale denne airbnb’en!

Wir hatten zu viert einen schönen Aufenthalt in Kristinns hübschem Haus. Super war der HotPot hinter dem Haus mit Blick in die schneebedeckten Bergey Die Kommunikation mit Kristinn verlief problemlos. Nur die Navigation mit den Koordinaten hat nicht so geklappt. Nach einem Telefonat war das Problem schnell gelöst.

Welcoming and cosy place, as soon as we arrived we found everything very clean and tidy, kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare something to eat, very clean bathroom, room equipped with Smart TV and vacuum cleaner. The owner of the house is always available for any eventuality. If I were to return to Iceland I would gladly book another stay with him.

We stayed at Gunnar’s apartment for a week during our visit to Reykjavík. The location was good and pretty central to restaurants and attractions we wanted to visit. We did rent a car which made travel much easier and the parking was abundant and not too expensive. The apartment itself was clean overall although some areas had some dust. No complaints here, it wasn’t a big deal. Gunnar did advertise that the apartment house(d) two cats but as someone with cat allergies I had no problem with any fur or cat dander. FYI, across Iceland the hot water is heated geothermically which gives off a sulfur smell, so don’t be alarmed. Thanks Gunnar, for allowing us to stay at your apartment during the week! Ken + Jenn

Great apartment, great owner

The flat was lovely, amazing view, and perfectly situated close to everything. Linda was a good host, met us on our schedule and was very welcoming!

The Airbnb was easily accessible and well equipped with washing machine, dryer and fully equipped kitchen. There was also a designated parking spot for your vehicle. Magnus was responsive and extremely helpful in answering any queries. Would recommend this place

I cannot recommend this condo enough. This was a great place right outside of Reykjavík that allowed us to quickly go into town and provided a great jumping off point for our tours. The condo was welcoming and very clean - it is exactly how the photos and description describe it. The amenities were great, and the laundry was wonderful after long days. Also, Hannes was a phenomenal host. He allowed us to check in early because of an early morning flight, and was extremely responsive to any question I had. I cannot wait to return and rebook this condo. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you Hannes for your hospitality!

If Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons ever designed, furnished and located an apartment, then this is it. Great for family, market place next door should you need it, fantastic (top end) restaurants all around, coffee shops…and everything in short walking distance. It was so well kept and clean, felt like a high end resort. Really cool place and host who clearly cared about his guests’ experience. Reachable, proactive when needed, yet respectful of privacy. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, or any other of his locations, he truly is a class act super host. Highly recommended.

The apartment was exactly as described and immaculate. But what I liked best was that it was in a tranquil neighborhood with outstanding views across a bay and easy access to downtown. Once I drove downtown, once I walked along the bay and once I took a chance on a scooter (very easy path to follow, but since that was my first ride ever, it was harrowing!). I appreciated that Kjartan made my stay exceptionally easy - most of my questions (what’s the WiFi password, where’s the nearest grocery store, etc) were answered in advance, and then again in a helpful booklet in the apartment. Thank you, Kjartan, for a fantastic stay in Reykjavik!
