Beachfront holiday rentals in Huron County

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Pedro’s cottage. The location was perfect on the shores of Lake Huron between Goderich and Kincardine. The 3 bedroom cottage was a perfect fit for our family and a well appointed kitchen with every kitchen tool thoughtfully included to prepare meals. We felt at home immediately and ready to rest and relax and enjoy time on the many decks, the beach and swimming. The deck off the living room was a perfect spot to eat breakfast and the glass sided lower deck offers expansive views of beautiful Lake Huron. It was hard to leave after 7 days but the best places often are. Thank you Pedro for the thoughtful welcome gift. It was very much appreciated.

From beginning to end it was perfect. The cottage reminded me of the one I grew up in. Neighbours were pleasant and kept to themselves. Property was gorgeous and the outside shower truly is a pleasant surprise. Kitchen was well stocked with items you’d have at home and a bonus fridge outside to keep your beverages cold! Katie was very quick to respond to my inquires about the bbq. We ran out of propane but there was a full tank ready for us. I hope to come back and share this gem with more family and friends.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay. The location is perfect and the beach was beautiful. The host was so kind and recommended great things to do in the area and we accomplished them all. The place was super clean and we loved the vibe. This vacation was exactly what we needed and it exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed beach fires every night infront of the sunset which was so beautiful. Thank you for everything:) We are definitely booking next year. We made fantastic memories during our stay!!!

Our family had an amazing stay! There were so many tho bc a to do in the area and the property had all of the amenities you could ask for. There were so many great areas of the space you could relax and spend quality time together. We loved our stay and hope to be back!

We stayed for a week looking for peace and relaxation and that is exactly what we got at Curtis' place! From the moment we walked in until the time we left we loved every minute. Everything was as good or better than the photos showed. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything needs to meal delicious meals. The bathrooms were squeaky clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Wi-fi worked well and we were able to stream services like Netflix, Crave, Prime, etc. We were the last cottage at the end of the road so it felt very private. We stayed in winter so the lake wasn't accessible but looks like it would be fun in summer! Curtis was an amazing host. He checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure everything was alright. We are already looking at booking another stay.

We spent our family reunion here at Zac’s place for the Easter long weekend and had an amazing time. Our stay was better than expected with everything you can think of. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, bonfire, theatre room downstairs and the kids loved having the entire upstairs to themselves. The Alexa speaker all around the house was an added bonus. We cannot thank Zac & his family enough for the accommodation. We would love to come back & create more memories with our family in the near future.

Dan’s place was spotless and in prime location. We loved that we could walk everywhere. The home is beautiful and had all of the amenities needed. Dan was available when we needed. We will definitely stay here again. 😊

We absolutely loved our stay at The Nest. It’s been beautifully renovated and has such a cozy, fresh feel to it. The guest suite had everything we needed inside and out. We spent a few afternoons at the private beach and was nice not having the crowds. The real showstopper was the sunsets. Every evening, we’d sit out and just watch the sky do its thing over Lake Huron. It was beautiful and so peaceful. Just the kind of break we needed. Jeff was very easy to reach and was able to answer any questions we had. Our only regret was we wished booked longer. Looking forward to another stay in the future!

Great place close to beach.

I can't say enough about this vacation home and how it met all of our needs and expectations. It was very clean and comfortable, tastefully decorated, had all the kitchen necessities (and more), great location, etc. I would highly recommend this rental and we look forward to returning in the future.

Our family enjoyed a fantastic two week stay at David’s beautiful lakefront property. The house is charming, well appointed, and accommodated the five of us very comfortably. In fact it seemed considerably more spacious than even the photos suggested. Check in was a breeze and David was incredibly responsive throughout our stay. The views out over Lake Huron are spectacular. We spent hours lounging on deck chairs or in the hammock marvelling at the scenery. There are stairs leading directly from the front yard down the bluff to a beautiful and very quiet sandy beach great for swimming and kayaking. The marina towns of Bayfield and Grand Bend are just a few minutes drive in either direction if you ever needed a change of pace, there are golf courses and even an old drive-in theatre nearby, and the roadside farm market stalls scattered all over the area meant that we hardly even needed to visit a grocery store. This really is an idyllic spot for a relaxing holiday. VERY highly recommended!

A charming cottage in Southcott Pines! A peaceful community surrounded by nature and close to the beach. I grew up with a cottage in Southcott Pines and spent 20 years here. It felt like coming home. Michelle's cottage is warm and welcoming - perfect for a family or a relaxing girl's weekend. We will definitely be back again to enjoy this perfect vacation. Karin's cottage was beautiful inside and out! You couldn't ask for a more perfect spot- super close to the beach, but any strong winds get blocked by a row of trees and cottages, so it was always perfect to sit on the front porch or back deck back at the cottage when done at the beach. Karin provided a TONNE of outdoor games for the kids and indoor video games when they needed a break from the sun. The AC in the cottage was phenomenal and gave everyone a good night's sleep. Karin is an amazing and welcoming host!! She is thoughtful and very easy to communicate with. The welcome basket really made our day!! Would definitely come back!!

I had such a lovely stay at this place! The space was exactly as described clean, cozy, and well taken care of. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. You can really tell how much thought and care goes into hosting. Paradise found with this Lake Huron retreat. Lorraine is a superb host. Upstairs master bedroom with en-suite bath and closet is spacious and can easily sleep a family of 5. Sunsets are incredible over the water. So much space to relax and unwind inside and out. Games room in garage was a great bonus for kids and adults to enjoy. Would highly recommend property and host!!

Excellent stay for beautiful sunsets and stargazing. The place felt very private, calm, and peaceful. The sunset views are the best part during our stay. Plenty of activities to do and it's close to Bayfield for quick errands. Our host, Jacob, is very responsive and communicative. Will definitely recommend.

Great activities, location and property.

This was our first trip to Goderich/the Canadian side of Lake Huron but definitely will not be the last. Priscilla’s home is absolutely gorgeous and had everything we could have needed during our stay. The property and views over Lake Huron are stunning and we spent the trip drinking coffee/eating on the deck overlooking the lake, playing lawn games/sitting around the fire pit in the yard, or exploring the area beaches, hiking trails, and towns. Priscilla was incredibly responsive and kind. We would love to come back!

We had the most wonderful visit at Dewey's cottage. When we entered the house, we were greeted with the fresh smell of a clean house! There were 2 bedrooms on the main floor, and two in the basement. We were two families, so this set up was perfect, as it allowed each family to have some privacy. The pool, big yard and trampoline were all a hit with our kids. The kitchen was stocked with lots of cutlery, plates, cooking items and basic condiments. The beach was within walking distance - and the view of the lake could be seen from the house which was breathtaking. We absolutely loved our stay. Highly recommend!

This Place is everything advertised and more. The pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen is gorgeous and stocked with eveything you need to make a wondeful meal. The bed is sooooo comfy. Communication is excellent and the welcome basket was a wonderful surprise. The patio is a nice outdoor space with beautiful lights at night. At night its nice to have a lighted pathway to your private entrance. Everything is prestine and it has that new smell. The location is surperb . Its is a 5 minute walk to grand bend beach , mini putt , shops and resturants. This location is also 8 minute drive to an old school drive in and 5 min drive to huron playhouse where you can see wonderful musical's and theatrical plays . I highly recomend this place if you want a home away from home .
