We went to this cottage for the second time and we liked it again. This cottage is not only suitable for families with children, but also ideal for peace seekers like us. The cottage is very spacious, has a nice garden in the woods. Furthermore, it has all the comforts. We'd love to come back.

Everything was great! ❤️ We couldn't get there on time, so the host left us the key directly at the house. Gave clear check-in instructions and location of the house and parking space. The house itself was also clean, tidy and comfortable for living with a family of 6 people ( including children for whom there are also activities on the campsite). The kitchen has everything you need to prepare food. The host offered us to use the grill, if needed, which is provided separately upon request. We also took advantage of the free bonus and visited the pool at the general area of the campsite. I would recommend it more for children ( not very big, warm water, 1.4m deep) we were the whole family and really enjoyed it. In the general area there are a lot of playgrounds, bowling and a restaurant ( where you can have a delicious dinner ( average check 25 euros/person) Activities on the territory of the campsite we did not manage to use because we spent little time (only two days) . But definitely we will come back here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful chalet! The house is very tastefully decorated, well maintained and offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The location is fantastic – perfect for relaxing and enjoying. We want to highlight the landlord: extremely accurate, courteous and always trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The communication was quick, warm, and straightforward. We would come back anytime and can fully recommend this place!

We had a nice stay at the Geldersche garden. Everything was as described. Close to Apeldoorn, Deventer and the beautiful Veluwe so you can go anywhere and there is a lot to do and see. Good communication with Gert. Definitely recommend!

Super house and super smooth check-in and check-out. It was all totally great. Unfortunately, the chest with the seat cushions was locked and no one could open it for us. We were therefore unable to use the roof terrace, which greatly affected the stay. Much worse was that the landlady or the nice people from the reception did not help us because they could not open a €0.50 lock.

We had a lovely stay… the cottage is a great set up for 2-3 guests, with all the amenities to spend time living in a space (cooking, doing laundry, working remotely, etc). The environment is also very peaceful with lovely big windows that let in light and a garden full of birds. The hosts were very responsive and friendly.

This was my second week in Holten: last year I was here in September and I had already decided to return. Now it was time! And my decision was the right one: a wonderful week in the private forest, complete with birds and squirrels. Thanks to the veranda and the beautiful weather, we mainly lived outside. And enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, for the sake of variety also visited places like Deventer and Zutphen. In the cottage, you will find all the comfort and furnishings you need. And that's how a person can relax! Highly recommended.

Jacoline is a great host, very friendly and a clear explanation. We were already there at noon, the cottage was just clean and we were allowed in right away. The house is really even more beautiful and nicer than you can make out of the rubbing. Everything is perfect and modern. Very clean, complete and very well maintained. There are quite a lot of horses walking in the meadow and also along the garden. Very cozy noise they make, absolutely not disturbing. Didn't bother flies, it wouldn't have been really hot yet. That's possible in the summer. But great mosquito everywhere. The small campsite that the cottage is part of is very quiet. Not at all disturbing. The area is beautiful, fantastic for biking and hiking. We were lucky enough to observe a group of 7 boars with about 20 piglets quite close by. In the middle of the day. This is certainly subject to repetition for us!

We stayed 1 week and enjoyed it very much. Especially the large garden and the many toys for the children. The host was responsive and gave clear instructions. The house felt very private and cozy, but it is clearly not the newest anymore. The kitchen was well equipped but the pans and cutlery a little worn and so was the dinner table. The bathroom was functional, but there was very little hot water which ran out midway during a quick shower even. Also, the shower head needs replacement. We only found 3 rolls of toilet paper for a 1 week stay for 4 people and 4 dishwashertabs, so take some of these items with you or be prepared to buy it on the spot. Internet WiFi was good. Overall still a 5 star experience because of the garden, toys and private feeling and so we do recommend staying here.
