Hause Hall, Cruik Barn & The Stables

IanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Hause Hall was the absolutely stunning. It was the perfect place for a friends and family gathering of 14 people. There are plenty of hiking trails close to the house and lots of beautiful farm land. The management company and Christine made sure that the place was pristine upon arrival. They also provided lots of amenities to make our stay warm and comfortable. It made our family reunion one to remember. There were no tissues in the air bnb, so if you think you will need them, bring them. If you plan on cooking - the air bnb had lots of spices, oils, sugar, so you probably don’t need to bring those types things. It is pretty remote - to reach the Hause, one must drive on a one track road for about 20 min to get to house. We weren’t bothered by this because it is what we wanted, but it did add an extra level of patience and planning to go out and do stuff in the surrounding areas. Howtown Pier has no parking. So we had to drive to Pooley bridge to catch the Ullswater Steamer

Hannah’s place is beautiful. It is really cozy, very clean and Hannah has thought about every detail. Hannah had fresh flowers in the windowsills, lovely bread and fudge waiting for us. Everything was perfect!

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful quiet setting. The perfect place to go, disconnect from everyday life and enjoy nature. The home had everything that you need and everything is as pictured and described. My family and I loved staying here.

Riverside Rose Cottage, Pooley Bridge, Ullswater

BridgetRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great stay and would love to return one day. We went as a family of 4 - with our 17 & 19 year old sons and all really enjoyed the holiday cottage. The stand out 'wow' is the beautiful garden that leads down to the river at the bottom....a very rare find. The cottage is in the heart of the village, so there's easy access to small shops and variety of pubs to eat in. We had mixed weather and so enjoyed local walks but were glad of the log burner and heating to warm up at the end of the day. There's still a beautiful view of the garden even if it's raining. The cottage was well equipped and homely - it was much lighter and brighter inside than we'd thought it would be. Great stay - Thank you.

The Fold at Hallin Bank - Uk49042

RuthRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Fold was a beautiful, peaceful cottage. It was full of character and features. Warm and comfortable. Incredible views. Robbie, our host was on hand, and he was helpful and accommodating. Weather was pretty dreadful but we got out on it, and could have a lovely warm shower and put the log burner on afterwards.
