Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hout Bay

Tolle Unterkunft, die unsere Erwartungen absolut übertroffen hat. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Leon ist ein Top Gastgeber, der sofort erreichbar u sehr hilfsbereit war. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in der Villa!!!

We had a fantastic time. The accomodation is perfect for two people and you can walk everywhere, to the beach and the nearby village. The accomdation's surroundings are very quiet and peaceful. Just lovely for escaping the noise and busyness of city life. Tala was a lovely host - always responsive and helpful. The accommodation is fitted out very stylishly. We had an amazing time.

Kate is a very helpful and responsive host. This is a great flat in an excellent location with fabulous views. Simonstown has a lot more to offer than we realised. The submarine visit is not to be missed! Great base for exploring the whole Cape Point Peninsular.

This is near the end of a cul de sac, where you can walk along the wildlife reserve and down to the beach. It is a quiet spot and a spacious, romantic house. Wonderfully kitted out kitchen, comfortable bed with new linens, and a lovely outdoor table and couch. You can also walk to all the restaurants and cafes from here. The garden is open to the sky with trees and succulents. There's no sea view from the patio but the birds and privacy make up for it, and I enjoyed many walks to the beach and hours spent on the patio to eat and write. Great coffee pot as well!

I absolutely loved my time at this garden cottage. It was everything I needed for the Easter break and my dog had such a fun time sniffing about all the flowers. It had everything I needed inside it as well.

I had a wonderful restful and peaceful stay at Tara and James's cottage. The bed is comfortable with good linen and pillows. Tara was very attentive, responsive and proactive which I appreciated.

Wir waren 3,5 Wochen über Weihnachten und Neujahr mit unseren erwachsenen Töchtern im Haus von Lars. Alles war wie beschrieben. Erst funktionierte das WLAN nicht, es wurde aber sofort mit einem mobilen Router Abhilfe geschaffen. Wenn man etwas sucht, was bemängelt werden kann, ist das der doch recht kleine Pool. Alles andere war wirklich TOP! Zusätzlich war für uns die ganze Zeit (Di-Mi-Sa) eine Haushälterin, Avis, zuständig. Sie ist ein ausgesprochener Schatz und liest einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. In Summe: Super gut, wir kommen wieder Jette, Lill, Babette & Jens

We had a fantastic stay! The house was modern, spacious, and perfect for a large family getaway. The jacuzzi was an absolute highlight—relaxing and well-maintained. What really stood out was the exceptional availability and support of the ground managers; they were always responsive and helpful. The location right on the beach made the experience even more special. We’ll definitely visit again and highly recommend this place to anyone traveling with a big family looking for a modern beachfront escape.

Heerlijk huis in het mooie Scarborough. Contact verliep met beheerder Michel en zij reageerde supersnel en loste dingen snel op. Mooi uitzicht aan de voorkant en achterkant. Ruim woongedeelte. We waren met twee stellen met allebei een baby en de baby’s konden makkelijk bij ons op de slaapkamer slapen (wel zelf baby cots meenemen).

Beautiful little studio in a fantastic location which was pretty, quiet and very safe. I was very comfortable walking in the area even at night so perfect for getting away from Kloof and Long Street. Host was friendly, informative and responsive. They have a lovely old boxer called Tippee and some days her friend too who was equally lovely. Amazing views of both Lions Head and Table Mountain from the garden. Kitchen had everything I needed incl a huge fridge/freezer. No power outages and decent internet. No negatives at all. Wish I'd booked more days. Thank you

Absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful Kalk Bay apartment! It’s spacious, stylishly furnished, filled with natural light, and offers stunning views of the harbour. The location is unbeatable—steps away from Olympia Café and Harbour House. The mattresses are incredibly comfortable, and it was the perfect spot for our wedding weekend—the bride even got ready here! We’ll definitely be back.

The perfect spot for our weekend in kalk bay. Easily walkable to the mountain and the ocean. Great restaurants, shops, book stores and art galleries. The hosts were friendly and helpful and also left us to our privacy. Would definitely stay again.

Petra’s Airbnb has the most beautiful views, well equipped. This first Airbnb I’ve been to that has that much condiments and extra stuff like the cutlery to braai, oil, salt, spices as well. Extra linen, even body wash. What a good host, will most definitely return, there is a nice little coffee shop, close to the beach and close to Eden on the bay as well

Words cannot describe the location of this property. Literally ON the beach with the most beautiful sunsets. Private and tranquil. Honestly just felt like heaven when on the deck by the pool looking out over this setting. A little jealous that I don’t get to live there. 😉 Absolutely stunning.

Magical spot for sunset lovers and people who enjoy the sound & smell of the sea. From the deck you can spend hours birdspotting and enjoying the indigenous plants in the garden. Hosts are wonderful, check in to make sure you are happy but also give lots of privacy. Freshly caught tuna if you are lucky! Perfect spot for solo female travellers who want to remote work and have the beach within walking distance. Highly recommend!

Our stay with Lisa & Ivan was very memorable! We loved the cosy tiny house, which had everything one needs for a great stay. Easy walkable access to the beach and the few restaurants in Scarborough was a big plus. The surroundings are breathtaking! Lisa was very helpful with questions we had. We are very glad we found this little place.

We had such a lovely time! The place was incredibly clean and tidy, which made settling in so easy. We especially loved how peaceful and secluded it felt — the quiet surroundings were exactly what we needed to unwind. It was cosy and comfortable, just the way we enjoy our getaways. This spot is a perfect winter staycation, and we’d definitely book again!

I stayed at Bronwyn’s for a few weeks, it was a nice calm and green space that was a good base in Cape Town. Bronwyn was a really considerate and communicative host.

The most beautiful oasis felt like you were in the mountains but just a short drive from the beach and amenities. Fantastic kitchen, well kitted out making cooking at home easy and enjoyable. Alta was kind, friendly and proactive. The chickens walking about and chatting were a fun bonus. Didn’t get the time to see the goats but saw the bunnies hopping around. The perfect place to stay when enjoying the Deep South. Would go back if offered the opportunity again!
