We enjoyed the time and stay as we were a large group. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The area was quiet and we felt safe. Some of the bathrooms could do with some tlc. Nathalie and her team and great hosts

The property was simply amazing. The rooms were big each with lovely ensuite bathrooms. It has a well appointed kitchen and a large dining room table that would sit 10 people very comfortably. An added bonus is the dining room table converts to a pool table. The area is extremely quiet away from the hussle and bustle of Johannesburg and superbly situated to get to the various golf courses we were playing as well as some great restaurants. It has all the facilities for entertaining outside including a swimming pool which would be amazing in the summer months, as well as a large garden. The house is kept spotless by housekeeping who came in every day (except Sunday) to clean and make up the rooms. Finally, I cannot say enough about our host Charmaine. Very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. Thank you Charmaine, you were brilliant and we all thank you for letting us feel so at home!

We spent several weeks at Lisa’s place and loved every moment. Lisa was super communicative and always on hand if we had a question. We liked being situated in Melville which is easily walkable and has lots of unique places to visit, especially the cafes on 7th street, 27 Boxes and morning walks up on the Koppies which are a must if staying in the area. Thanks again Lisa for being a great host, we hope to stay again!

We felt right at home during our stay - the space was warm, beautifully set up, and had everything we needed, including more than enough blankets to keep us cozy. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made everything so seamless from start to finish. Thank you for such a lovely experience - we’d definitely love to return!

Michael is very committed, friendly, extremely helpful and easily accessible! The house offers plenty of space for a large group to enjoy and relax. The garden, the Braai area, is very inviting for hours. The decor throughout the house leaves nothing to be desired, everything is in impeccable condition, the rooms are very spacious, it just has plenty of space! The kitchen is very spacious and has everything you need for cooking, baking, sizzling! The house has twice a week, on request more, a lady who takes care of the rooms, cleanliness and care of the house. She is a very hearty and lovely person, always happy to help out. The gardeners are very committed, keep the beautiful garden area very clean and very well maintained. In short: a little paradise. For us as golfers all the more because the house allows the view of the Parkview GC...always exciting to watch other golfers interpret the game for themselves.

I had a wonderful stay at this BnB. Leroy was a great host — helpful, and welcoming. The place was spotlessly clean, safe, and incredibly comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. I had everything I needed, and it was the perfect spot for me as a solo traveler. I also absolutely loved the area — Melville has such a great vibe with lovely cafés, shops, and a relaxed atmosphere. Alex was a very friendly, helpful host! The cottage is in a beautiful space and very secluded, set apart from the rest of the property. We enjoyed our stay and have already made plans to return!

Charming neighborhood/place and helpful host.

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit had everything and more than what was needed and everything was super clean in the unit and the bed very comfortable. The unit is very close to St Mary's Waverley and made it easy for us to walk down to the school to enjoy the hockey festival everyday. Unit is in a safe and clean neighbourhood with alot of malls around. We can only highly recommend Nicolette's place and hope to visit again.

Tanya was warm and hospitable, and kindly allowed us to check in earlier even though the accommodation was still being prepared for us. Piping hot showers, comfortable beds and tea/coffee station with delicious rusks all helped make our stay great and I would definitely stay with Tanya and Niels again.

I don't know where to begin with this review - my stay last night exceeded my expectations. From the professionalism, swift response and care of the host and her team to the exotic view of the beautiful gardens and spotless furniture and linen. Everything was perfect, the host pays close attention to detail and that is what makes this place stand out for me. The images posted of the place are true to real life - with the exception that it looks soooo much more beautiful and breathtaking in real life!! The place accommodates got all kinds of weather and season. My partner and I enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely be coming back soon! Thank you to the host for this amazing place.

Christopher and his wife where fantastic hosts and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Definitely will stay there again on my visit to Johannesburg. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great place to stay.
