Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

We have 3 self-catering in-house open plan, adult only, apartments; Mogill sits alongside Soothpunds on the Northeast of the main building. This quaint apartment offers stunning panoramic views, looking north to the cliffs of Noss & across the east horizon. Enjoy beautiful morning sun rises from the patio with summer BBQ area, taking in natures best. Whether in bed, dining or sitting, one is surrounded by breathtaking views. Our local beach is mins away, 25mins to Lerwick, 40mins to the North.

Driftwood Cottage

This traditional cottage has been recently renovated to provide a modern, quirky and cosy home away from home. A scenic, relaxing setting to get away from it all and a great base for exploring Shetland. With magnificent sea views, Driftwood provides beautiful coastal walks from your doorstep. During the summer months, your nearest neighbours are Shetland ponies who may peer over the fence to say hello. There's plenty of outdoor space to enjoy watching local wildlife along the shoreline.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Ideal for those who enjoy beaches, walks and dramatic cliffs. 'Spindrift' is a traditional white 2-bedroom cottage situated almost upon Levenwick’s sheltered sandy beach. Levenwick is conveniently located on the South Mainland of Shetland, half way between Lerwick and Sumburgh Airport and close to many attractions. It has a regular bus service. From Spindrift you can stroll to the beach, launch boats from the sand and take cliff walks.

Sea Winds, is a newly renovated c. 1760 two-storey listed townhouse located in the picturesque south end of Commercial Street, Lerwick. With beautiful open views over Bain's Beach, you can enjoy life by the sea with all the modern comforts of the house has to offer, including a wood burning stove. Close to the BBC series 'Shetland 'Jimmy Perez' home', and minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and pubs in Lerwick, Sea Winds makes an excellent base to tour the isles.

Comfortable two bedroom cottage, situated in the centre of Lerwick. The cottage has recently been refurbished, and is decorated with a modern feel. Located on King Harald Street, the cottage is within walking distance of Lerwick town centre, near various cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. Please be aware that there are two sets of steps to get up to the cottage (27 in total), so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, or prams/buggies.

Solhamar Self Catering is a one bedroom apartment. We're located in the beautiful village of Cunningsburgh in the South Mainland of Shetland. The apartment has it's own private entrance and outdoor space. Accommodation is arranged over 2 floors and gives a cosy private space to enjoy peace and quiet with beautiful sea and hill views. Cunningsburgh is a 15 minute drive to Lerwick and Sumburgh airport and a short walk to the main bus route.

Reclaimed ‘oot hoose’ located in Burra- a small fishing village on the west side, only 15 min drive from Lerwick. Burra is a lovely part of Shetland, & home to some of its most beautiful beaches and coastal views. The shop is a 2 minute walk away, where you can book a tour with ‘Shetland Sea Adventures’ fishing trips & tours of the outer islands. Air b&b is next to a bus stop with connecting services to Lerwick & other parts.
