Family-friendly holiday rentals in Horta

Great place to stay, and facilities were great! Was so nice to have a pool and jacuzzi and the location was great for going to all parts of the island.

This was a great stay, but definitely listen to the other comments about humidity, everything is a little damp. The hot tub was amazing, the kitchen is small but does the trick, and the floors are a bit funky under foot.

An unforgettable experience. Lorenzo was very helpful and very nice in sharing his life at sea with us. Highly recommended!

Great private oasis on Pico! The hot tub, pool and lush vegetation are amazing! The place is a little rustic but the house and area are beautiful. We used the hot tub and grill, which was a great bonus. The road to the place is a bit narrow but we didn’t have any issues, I would recommend for your holiday in Pico!

Extremely nice "park" where you stay. It is nice and quiet and the cottage is spacious, beautiful and typical in Azorean style. The pool is lovely and in a good place, the jacuzzi makes it extra fun. It is a 30-minute drive from the cottage to most attractions and nice restaurants.

Francesca is an outstanding host. This was by far one of the nicest Airbnb’s I have stayed in— tastefully decorated, well laid out and very clean. And the pillows!! So comfortable and thoughtfully set up. Thank you Francesca!!

Mario and Carla were really kind and sweet, left us local things to try and made us feel at home from the really first moment. The house was clean and really nice to be in. We really suggest this peaceful location for a stay in Pico.

Space inside and beautiful space outside in typical volcanic stone house; view of the ocean and view of the Pico. Just walking around towards the ocean through the "currais" is a rewarding experience. In the house everything is functioning well; very nice and practical bbq.

No words can describe our experience at this amazing vila. It was absolutely amazing: the house itself is very well located, the views are stunning. Marcos and Diana were very helpful in everything we needed. Pico island is an amazing place on earth and to get to know the island like we did was only possible with this 5 star accommodation. We chilled, we had swims in the infinity pool, had great barbecues…I will be back for sure. Thanks to all the staff and especially to Marcos for all the hospitality and kindness.

We felt very comfortable. Check-in worked great and communication was also very good! The apartment offers all the one would need for a stay.

This place is perfect for a short or long stay on the beautiful island of Faial. Flamengos is a pretty suburb of the capital Horta, which is even within walking distance with a nice 30-minute walk. Right next door is the botanical garden, which is definitely worth a visit. The house is brand new and nicely decorated. A special detail is of course the heated swimming pool as well as excellent equipment with washing machines and dryers. Humberto is a loving host who is happy to help with every question and even drove us to the supermarket or into town on request. We felt very comfortable and can absolutely recommend this accommodation!

Compact but very pleasant modern apartment with a good terrace. There are 2 other apartments attached, plus the owners place next door, but it felt very private. Like most places in the Azores they haven't discovered Smart TV yet. The kitchen is minimally outfitted, but functional The walk up to the front door from the street is a bit of a haul if you have lots of luggage or groceries. The shower has no soap, so come prepared. Finally, the living room would be a little tight for more than 2 guests. Property managers were quite helpful in getting us in at the last moment after our flight was canceled. We felt the property was comfortable and well designed - recommended!

A special place, very quiet, clean, excellent for babies and children. We became two families, very spacious, with all the necessary utensils available and a spectacular host, always available to meet us. We felt at home.

He's probably the best host that I ever had the pleasure of working with. He is so nice and sincere. I arrived with a laundry list of travel issue none related to his air bnb or really his concern. He even helped me after I checkee out. Seriously nicest man ever. The place is clean and great parking. It's small but perfect for when exploring the island. Do yourself a favor and book it now.

This little apartment was a cute clean place to stay. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of fans as sometimes the islands get warm. The kitchen was fully stocked. We felt right at home. I stayed with my husband and son and my mom and dad also stayed in another room. My dad is hard to please and he said these people have a nice thing going on here. I recommend this place to everyone.
