Family-friendly holiday rentals in Horsham

We had a very comfortable and warm weekend at this property! The cockatoos that greeted us in the morning were a lovely surprise.

lovely home located in a beautiful location and close to halls gap township. house was very well presented and very clean on arrival with high quality furnishings and fixtures. However we were also presented with several "house rules...and potential fines" during the booking process / on arrival that did make us feel a little more self conscious during our stay. The outside bbq is on the smaller side as well as the oven, so if you are planning on cooking for a large number (ie upto 10 guests) please bare this in mind. we also had an issue with the bedding configuration on arrival, which was unable to be rectified during our stay, but after requesting the extra bedding fee to be refunded, this was accommodated immediately. it is a beautiful home with stunning views, local wildlife visits and close to everything you need for a memorable holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay! Just one note on the supply of toilet paper, we didnt have another roll available. And could possibly do with a mat on the floor upon entrance due to the wet and dewy weather, didnt want to mess up the floors with damp shoes.

Lovely cosy house with beautiful surroundings. Even with other accomodation around it was quite private. Lots of friendly cockatoos around as well :)

Die Unterkunft entsprach den Erwartungen. Die in anderen Rezensionen thematisierte Vorschriften nahmen wir nicht wahr, da alles "comon sense" war. Bei unserem Besuch herrschte ein Fire ban - wir sahen kein Brennholz, haben aber auch nicht weiter danach gesucht. Ich würde in diesem Preissegment Brennholz erwarten. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet, alles funktioniert und ist sauber. Wir hatten eine super Zeit! Vielen Dank Cathy!

We had a very peaceful week, taking our two GSDs we were very happy to find a large, private and secure garden. A very peaceful street and just a short walk from the town centre. Lots of local options for food and drinks between Stawell, Pomonal and Halls Gap.

The Grampians National Park is in the area making this an affordable base for day trips. Modern shower was great. Kitchen is small but staff were available to provide items from the Great Western Hotel Motel over the road.

Absolutely loved staying at the cottage. They had the fire going by the time we arrived so were welcomed to a lovely, cosy cottage.

We had a lovely stay at this place. A great place to unwind from the city and enjoy the Australian bush.

Very comfortable house with lots of everything you would want. Plenty of linen, crockery, games, seating etc. It was a very cold weekend and the heating worked really well. The setting is gorgeous. We loved the laughing kookaburras and the roaming kangaroos. A great house that I am very happy to recommend to everyone.

We stayed at Helen's place as we were attending a musical event at the Horsham Town Hall. Although the property was on the edge of town it was literally only a few minutes drive to the venue and the CBD. The house is comfortably furnished and has everything required for a medium stay. We found Helen very easy to deal with. If you are arriving at night it would be a good idea to take a torch as it really is a rural property.

Loved staying here with the family. The house is great and the property has so much room to go for walks and the kids have heaps of space to play. Really close to Halls Gap which makes things easy. Definitely recommend staying here.

Great for a stopover on the way back home to Melbourne! So nice to have a clean place to arrive to. Would definitely stay again

We had a delightful stay at Karen’s house over the long weekend. The living areas of the house were large and ideal for a family. Three heat sources kept the house evenly warm and cosy. The amenities provided were ample and generous. We look forward to coming again.

We absolutely loved our stay. The home was beautiful and exactly as pictured. Everything was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The fireplace was a standout and made the whole space feel warm and inviting. The lounge room layout was perfect and the whole place had such a peaceful, quiet vibe. The location couldn’t be better. It’s close to everything while still feeling tucked away, with an incredible mountain view that made it extra special. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a quiet, scenic, and comfortable getaway. I would love to come back again 😊

We absolutely loved our stay at Glenn’s cottage. It was in such beautiful peacefully surroundings but close enough to walk easily into town. The house is gorgeous and super clean as well as super cosy and warm. We would love to stay again!

Golton is a very impressive property and we thoroughly recommend. Its attention to all comforts and ease of access into and within is to be commended. We really can not fault this property. The location was perfect. The house is definitely 5 stars. Modern, extremely clean. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Beds and linen were luxurious.
