LAKE VIEW

Benvenuti! "Lake View" is a beautiful and spacious modern one bedroom self-contained guesthouse that I have always dreamt of creating since I first found this wonderful location. My property is situated on the shores of Lake Cartcarrong midway between the Great Ocean Road and the Grampians. I speak Italian and French with an Italian accent! There is one horse and one whippet on the property and numerous species of native wildlife. The accommodation is light, private, spacious and comfortable.

Finnish Timber Cottage

This cosy Finnish cottage was lovingly imported and built by its owner. On the first level is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area and a cozy lounge room with a stone fireplace at its heart. Off to the side is a generous sized bathroom. Up the stairs is a mezzanine level which has 2 areas separate by a curtain. There is a master bedroom area with a double bed, hanging space and chest of drawers. On the other side of the curtain is a bedroom nook with 2 single beds. Outside are 2 verandas.

Stoneycroft Cottage - Farm Stay

A peaceful 1864 farm stay nestled amongst 600+ year old red gums with picturesque mountain views. Immersed in wild life, native flora, and epic scenery; nature awaits. Stay in our historic bluestone STONEYCROFT COTTAGE (2 b/r, sleeps 4) and adjoining shearers quarters (5 b/r, sleeps 11). The Cavendish Bunyip hotel and tranquil Settlers walk are 5 mins drive away, whilst Dunkeld's scenic mountains and great eateries are 20 minutes drive. Pets are very welcome but strictly not inside please.

Beautiful Historic Adair

Adair is one of the oldest and highest residences in the Grampians. Built in the 1930s, the home is furnished sympathetically with the times and offers 4 comfortable bedrooms, a large air conditioned lounge, large welcoming kitchen/dining room, and a generous verandah with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. Kangaroos and emus are a common sight around the house, and walking trails from the house lead to some of the most spectacular views in the eastern Grampians.

Yawnoc Cottage - Country Stay Woolsthorpe

Country Cottage - Escape to the country and enjoy a peaceful, friendly farm stay with rural views. An easy 25 min drive to Warrnambool & Port Fairy, 15 min to historic Koroit located on the footsteps of Tower Hill. Heading north is Dunkeld a 45 min drive to the Southern end of the Grampians. A cosy one bedroom cottage with queen sized bed, (portacot available on request), fully self contained. Farm managers residents conveniently neighbouring to assist with your stay.

Visit the Great Ocean Road, Whale sanctuary, restaurants, beaches and fishing. Only 20 minutes to Port Fairy, 10 minutes to historic Koroit. Newly refurbished house with large outdoor entertainment area. Undercover parking and space to pitch a tent or two.

Firgrove Retreat

Conveniently situated 12km from pretty Dunkeld, the southern gateway to the Grampian mountains, and 23km from Hamilton. ‘Firgrove Retreat’ is on a working sheep farm with stunning views to Mount Abrupt and Mount Sturgeon. The unit is stylish and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom and comfortable couch with wall mounted TV. Firgrove homestead is set in a lovely, well established garden and is adjacent to the retreat.

Koorreen Cottage

Relax and fall asleep to the waves rolling onto the beach. You’ll be staying in a 1901 cottage, with a lot of modern amenities. Enjoy beautiful Sunsets after a day fishing or swimming at the many beautiful beaches and rivers nearby. Portland town centre is only a 15 minute drive. Plenty of room for boat parking . The Narrawong beach is less than five minutes drive away, grab yourself some fish and chips from the Narrawong caravan park.

Great location means we have the main shopping precinct in the next block, outdoor pool and playground at the end of the street and five minute drive to everything else. Bedding features a queen bed and single bunk over double - perfect for two couples or a family All the basics makes this an easy choice for the working week or quiet weekend visit
