Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. The garden has a spa with sauna, wilderness bath, cold water bowl, and an outdoor shower. The summerhouse is only 700 meters from a large sandy beach. It is 2.5 km to the center of Hornbæk and 600 meters to the train station.

Relax in this unique and quiet cottage. The house is located alone on one of the largest grounds in Hornbæk, completely enclosed. There is only a 5 min walk to the beach. The summerhouse is about 84 m2 with two rooms and with large terrace around the house to the east, south and west (about 170 m2), playhouse, trampoline and an annex of about 10 m2. There is sleeping space for about 6 people. To complete the summer house vibe, the house bathroom facilities are installed “outdoors”, - private, covered and hot/cold water (see photos)

Now you have the chance to relax and enjoy a fantastic location just 25 meters from the beach. You get a stunning 180-degree view of Öresund, Ven and Denmark. Skåneleden passes outside the window and leads to restaurants, swimming, golf course and Landskrona city center. You will stay in a nice newly renovated room with a small kitchen and private bathroom. In the room, there is a comfortable double bed and, if necessary, access to a guest bed for a larger child and a travel bed for a smaller child.
