Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hordaland

The home is a 20 minute drive from Vik, where you can get groceries and restaurants, but it's a beautiful drive so we didn't mind it at all. We sat and watched the sky change over the fjord every morning.

The house has everything you could wish for. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. You felt very comfortable, gladly again. If you drink your coffee in the morning, you have a beautiful view of the sea and can just relax and enjoy.

Agriculture and Architecture mix. Living on the farm. Hike the property to historical Viking battle site. Golden hour sunset from property was amazing. The boathouse is a special and unique salute to Norway. 🇳🇴 Hope to return and stay longer next time. 🤞

Beautiful log home and a wonderful Nordic experience staying in one of the most picturesque and beautiful place just outside Bergen! The house is well equipped, and has everything you need to make you feel at home .. our family loved the experience and will definitely return if we are in the area again!

Hans and Emily's house is a real gem! Everything has been thought of, there is everything you need and more. The rooms are beautiful and the house has a special charm. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our daughter, there are games for children and adults - so even in bad weather there is no room for boredom. Charging the electric car also worked perfectly (for a more than fair fee). The communication with Hans during the stay was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a really great place to stay with so many options that we hope to try out on our next visit (canoeing, BBQ, swimming etc). Many thanks to Emily and Hans and all the best!

Communication with Kenneth was very simple and quick. Self check-in at the apartment with detailed instructions to easily find the accommodation. Free parking space in front of the accommodation. The apartment is comfortable, as described and in the immediate vicinity of a supermarket which is convenient. Good location to discover Balestrand and the Sognefjord, I recommend it.

If you're looking for a place to stay near Flam without noise, go for it! Located 40 minutes from Flam, this accommodation offers breathtaking mountain views from the living room and especially the bedroom! The curtains are very blackout, it's a very comfortable double bed, the environment is very quiet. The kitchen is very well equipped, it just lacks a microwave. The bathroom is functional. We spent 2 nights there, one before visiting Flam and its surroundings, one before leaving for Bergen and we were delighted: the best accommodation of our entire stay which lasted 9 nights

Bard's place is an excellent choice for us. Good location and even a great idea driving around to neighboring places. Private, quiet place and clean. The sauna is my plus favorite. Bard has complete amenities in the apartment. I highly recommend.

We had a pleasant stay at Marit’s place! If you are looking for a stay as if in one’s house, this is the right spot. The kitchen is well equipped, the apartment is spacious and communication with Marit was easy and fast. Away from the crowds, the area is quiet and peaceful!

We had a very nice time in this apartment. Everything you need for life is there and it is warm and cozy. The view from the apartment over the fjord is fantastic! You can quickly reach beautiful hiking areas and Stavanger by car, as well as good shopping facilities. Very close to the accommodation is the bus stop of the line 100, with which you can very comfortably get to Stavanger and back. A very special highlight were the extremely delicious waffles that Trond baked especially for us and that were ready for us on arrival. After the long drive, it was particularly good to be taken care of! Thank you very much!

Awesome place for a quiet stay in Bergen, not far from nature. Beautiful and well maintained property, superb walking paths few minutes behind the house, easy access to downtown, nice views from the balcony. Eldrid is an outstanding host. Her warmth, hospitality and genuine care made our stay very comforting and enjoyable. Everything was perfect, from the comfort of the apartment to the welcoming atmosphere she naturally creates. It felt like a real home to us and we would definitely come here again and stay longer ! Much longer ! :) A heartfelt thank you for your hospitality, Eldrid !

Amazing experience! We stayed in the cabin for 2 days but I’d easily spend in the house a week or two. Perfect location right next to the water with mountains around. 3 isolated bedrooms, nice wooden stove, 100% equipped kitchen, even the dishes are super beautiful Absolutely worth all the good reviews, thank you!

Tommy‘s cabin is an extraordinary place and allowed us to enjoy Norway to the fullest: from swimming and catching cod in the fjord with the boat and sauna sessions to incredible hikes. We had an amazing time and hope to be back some day!

nice ... nice place, nice cottage, beautiful view, beautiful peace and wonderful silence ... you can easily reach very interesting places and amazing views, and then rest in the cottage after the hardships of sightseeing ... a place worth recommending. An amazing, peaceful location. As Australians we had no idea how it would be to stay on an island in Norway. After a first day when we learnt it was important to allow time to get around the island to the ferry (thanks to tardy sheep), we enjoyed several days out to sightsee further afield. The house is most ideal for the wonderful views, hikes and peace of the island but, if you're willing to plan carefully, trips into the Sognfjord region are certainly possible. Cabin in beautiful surroundings. Hosts were responsive, even picking us up and dropping off at train station and delivering firewood
