Waterfront holiday rentals in Honshu

Yukiko was incredibly kind and the property was very comfortable. Everything you need is in walking distance, including access to dotonbori. Being along the river was a nice atmosphere and allowed me to feel like I had access to the whole area without being trapped in it. Great stay for a few nights if you want to see Osaka nightlife.

Hiromi’s place was pure perfection in Tokyo! With this being our first time to the city, we couldn’t have asked for a better location or place to stay. First of all, the beds are some of the most comfortable that I’ve ever slept on. Second the view!! The view is absolutely amazing at this place. We feel so lucky that we found it. One of our favorite things to do was to sit at the dining table and watch people walk by. It’s super close to the subway station and there are tons of restaurants all around you and a 7-11 less than a min away. The area is not overly crowded either which after moving on to another area of Japan, we really miss. We even forgot something when we left and Hiromi was so kind to set it aside for when we circle back to Tokyo at the end of our trip. We highly recommend this place..so far, it was the highlight of our trip. We could’ve stayed there the whole time! Thanks so much Hiromi!

Beautiful and cost stay! I was worried about the river sound first but it didn’t bother us at all. We also enjoyed the projector to watch some videos. The host is so friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much for having us!

Kikka was truly nice to deal with. She was so helpful and patient with all my questions, which was a lot. It is my first time to Japan and I am so glad she was our host. Her accomodations are perfect for 2 persons with a beautiful view of the river. The location is great , close to the Namba station where we were able to do day trips to Korasan and Nara so easily. The restaurants on the same street as her accomodations were incredible. Simply put a very convenient location and very cosy accomodations provided by a super nice host. Would definitely stay here again in the future. Absolutely no disappointments for myself and daughter.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The place was spotless, with both indoor and outdoor bathtubs that made for a truly relaxing experience. It’s incredibly cozy and well-designed, with a perfect location—just a short walk to the subway and the river. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Kyoto!

The weather was not good this time, and I did not see the beautiful sea, but the second floor of the landlord's house faces the sea. If the weather is good, or if you go in summer, the sea will be felt as soon as you open the curtains, it will be beautiful!Check in again next time

Toshi was a fantastic host. He was very quick to get back with answers to questions. His place is exactly as shown in the photos. Very clean lots of space and close to everything. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The view is beautiful, the house is neat and clean. The host Yoshi is super friendly , helpful and super responsive. Highly recommend this house to everyone.

What a pleasure to stay in a house after 10 days of Japanese small hotel rooms! 1.      The general atmosphere is warm, peaceful, comfortable and lovely. A lot of interesting objects and decoration. 2.      Real kitchen with all the necessary utensils and lovely Japanese dishes 3.      Good bed 4.      Music room with a vinyl player, classical vynils and art books. 5.      Coffee machine that makes the best coffee we drank in Japan. 6.      Mosquito nets on the windows. 7.      Birds singing outside. 8.      Walking distance of a family mart superette with all the necessary 9.      The owners took us from the station to the house and back on departure. We used the bus from Okayama, quite easily. 10. Electric bicycles are available 11. Distance from the house to Uno port (ferry to the islands) : 20 minutes cycling (easy, apart from the last slope to the house). At Uno port, direct ferry to Naoshima (20 min) and to Teshima (30 min). We wish to find other places like that !

This place was absolutely amazing. Super spacious, comfortable, and just a short walk from the train station. The views were phenomenal, and taking the bike around the community was a highlight. Just be ready for a few hills (you’ll feel in shape after!). The beach is right in front of the property, and the night views are unreal. There are some awesome local food spots and cozy cafes nearby. The host and her family were incredibly kind and welcoming, and their home is beautiful. I’m already looking forward to planning another trip here. I’d absolutely recommend staying if you get the chance.

They were very polite and accommodating. The interior was beautiful, the sea was close, and we had a great stay.

We have been using it every year since 2020, when Nagasaki and Uozumaru were opened. This year, I am using it as comfortably as when it was first opened 5 years ago, with the same cleanliness and tidiness. I was able to do it. I am very grateful for the management of the facility. In addition, we have changed the usage reservation schedule due to the circumstances of the members this time, We are truly grateful for your prompt and appropriate response to this change. I will use it again in July this year, and I hope to see you again next time. I'll do it. It is so comfortable that I plan to use it every year after this.

I booked it two months ago, but it rained a lot. ('ω;') After they left with a very kind explanation from the owner and his wife, it became a world of all this natural sound. Volume the blues speaker venues while listening to the sound of the rain, and enjoy BBQing and laughing - there is no surrounding noise, and we will completely create unforgettable memories on the page of our lives. Thank you very much.

The home was very comfortable, close to Perry Road and surrounding restaurants. You also get a nice view of the town and surrounding terrain. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend!

Lovely place. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Host was flexible with my check in time as I wasn’t sure what time I arrived til I got on the train. As it was raining on the day I left, host was kind enough to offer to drive me to train station as well as work out the train timetable for me. I couldn’t have asked for a lovelier experience.

When I entered the room first, I was impressed by the beautiful sea from the window!During my stay, I was able to spend quietly in a stylish room in the red tones of my favorite color.I took pictures and sketches while looking out the window. It was very quiet at night, so I had enough sleep.The next day it was relatively warm, so I had breakfast on the balcony.This was awesome. There was a pine forest in front of the condo and beautiful flowers were in bloom and we walked around with cameras.We had a very precious time.Thank you!

This is an extraordinary place. The location is in the heart of the buzzing Gion district, and everything easily walkable. They hosts were helpful & flexible with us leaving bags before and after. The space is unbelievable and rare. It's very spacious, which was a relief after being crammed in prior hotels. Basically it is a giant and very cool room, with attached bathroom and laundry wing. Bedding comfy. The place feels funky. It has absolutely everything you could need. It is not a shared space with anyone else, it's all yours and private. We travelled with 2 toddlers and the space was perfect. Huge room to run and climb, with plastic kitchenware, toys and books. As the host mentions, it is across the hall from a rooftop bar that can be a little noisy, but also distant bars and the district is noisy and busy in general, it was okay. It was neat and fine but could use a deep clean (it would be a hard space to keep perfect), but overall wonderful. 10/10.

Jing was an excellent host! Gave clear instructions and went above and beyond with having a warm and welcoming home. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this accommodation, and will keep it in mind for any future trips to Japan!

The place looks exactly like the pictures, clean and nice! We have 7 people, everyone is happy about the place. You can wash the clothes and dry them in the bathroom with dry fans. The location is great, 7 mins walk to both train stations. Wifi is super fast. overall, it's a good value for this place when you have bunch people.
