Our stay for 4 people was great ! From check in to check out ! Everything that was listed was there for us. The view was just breath taking & enjoyed our beautiful morning view and sunset view as well. Highly recommend for those who are looking for a quiet peaceful and scenic place to stay , that would be right here.

Minh is truly a super host, attentive to detail and to her guests’ needs. She will make you feel at home from the moment you step into her beautifully decorated and fully equipped home. Communication is important to feel relaxed while on vacations. Minh was permanently in touch with us, making sure we were feeling comfortable. When we had problems with the water heater and the ice maker, she fixed them in no time. She even contacted a friend of hers to provide us with ice for our cooler. This friend also gave us fresh eggs from her hens. It was so nice to experience the hospitality of the people in the Big Island! The view of the sunset from the balcony is a piece of art. Her immaculate garden is a treasure. The beautiful color of bamboo in her furniture complements the colors of the sun and brings out the warmth of the house. Minh’s quaint home and hospitality brought peace, joy, and rest to our lives! We came back home renewed. Mahalo, from the bottom of our hearts!

We had a wonderful 7 day stay. Our 3 boys (16, 13, and 10) spent hours on the diving board and in the pool. Sandra’s place had everything we needed for beach trips, including beach chairs, wagon, umbrella, cooler and beach towels. I was so happy to have a washing machine to wash out the sandy towels and suits after our beach trips. It was a 5-10 minute trip for Costco,-target and Walmart and a 30-40 minute trip to Hāpuna Beach (don’t miss the Malsada stand on the highway on your way). We would come back to the house to cook supper, swim more in the pool, and watch the sunset from the beautiful yard. We also got a lot of use out of the basketball net in the driveway, and volleyball net in the side yard. Sandra was extremely helpful with all aspects of our stay, including local recommendations. Would definitely stay again if on the Big Island!

We wanted to stay somewhere away from the city and have more of a genuine Hawaiin experience and we couldn't have been happier with our time at Kat and Joe's. Their property is serene, the proximity to the beautiful beaches is perfect and they are kind, welcoming hosts. We hope to stay there again sometime soon!

First of all, the area was amazing!! Manini beach was literally a 2-3 minute walk down the road for great snorkeling (gear is provided, if you need it) with a path for some amazing sunsets. There are a couple of fruit stands in the neighborhood, which was great for my mother’s daily banana stroll. You can see the bay from the amazing lanai that we spent so much time on to watch the snorkelers, kayakers and dolphins. The house itself was great! Split into half, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on either side, separated by an open concept living room and kitchen. The dining room is outside…where else would you want to sit down and eat? There were A/Cs in the bedrooms if you needed them, but the ocean breeze was usually enough for most of my party. There were lots of spices in the cabinets for cooking and some staples leftover from past renters. The long, winding and narrow roads make some great scenery, but also make your trip to anywhere else a bit long. I would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chris’ place. The morning views were nice, the sunset was beautiful . We like how there are 2 bathrooms, extra towels, washer and dryer provided. The place was clean and cozy! We appreciate the small gesture of a welcoming box of chocolates and coffee pods. Very attentive host. Thank you for a great stay.

Annette’s place was so peaceful and relaxing. It is further away from the touristy areas, but was exactly what we were looking for. It was about an hour drive to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, which is where we spent most of our time! This was a great place to relax and unwind after island hopping and staying in busier areas. My husband is into astrophotography and the night sky was amazing. We loved spending time star gazing on the porch. Definitely recommend staying here if you are looking to get away from the more crowded areas!

The Sugar Shack was a great stop on our vacation. Gary was an exceptional host and showed us all the great snorkeling areas. We were very happy with the communication and all he provided at his rental.

My second time here -- the best house, with the kindest hosts. Well-stocked kitchen and living space, and I love this neighborhood so much.

Wendy and David were absolutely lovely. The hale was gorgeous, perfectly integrated with nature. The lanai and bathroom are gems. We had the most delicious orange / tangerine of our lives right off the tree in the front yard.

We really enjoyed Kathy’s condo. It was close to all of our snorkeling tours. Kathy is a very responsive host and gave great recommendations for food and activities. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

I was impressed - by the cleanliness, the surroundings (the grounds are beautiful), the quiet / serinity, the thoroughly stocked: 1) food and cooking needs (oils, spices, rice, popcorn, dishes, pots, pans, storage containers, etc), 2) beach closet (beach towels, masks and snorkels, umbrellas, chairs,etc.), 3) bathroom (even emergency supplies), 4) laundry soap. Eric has thought of everything!

I enjoyed my stay in Kona. This place was exactly as advertised and looked just like the pictures. Thomas was super proactive and responsive to all of my needs. Check in was easy and clear instruction for check in and check out were provided. Amenities included a wide selection of beach items which was fantastic. Location was wonderful with walkable access to several popular but never crowded beaches. Private parking was a plus. I recommend.

It's the house of my dream. Everything in the house is taken really good care of by Priscilla and Rob, and the house is definitely one of my favorite places in Kona. I really hope that I can come back soon, and I will bring you a small gift from China, Priscilla~~💜

Perfect stay if you are prioritizing walkability, restaurants, shops, and bars. This unit also comes with beach chairs, a cooler, bougie board, and other beach related things that came handy during our trip. Would come back again!

This is a nice studio condo in a great location! Easy access to most of the activities in the Kona area being within a 30 minute drive and many restaurants and shops within walking/biking distance. Condo is clean, comfortable and well stocked with basic needs and the common areas are a great place to relax and enjoy the ocean views and sunsets. Overall a great experience and would happily recommend and/or use again!

I stayed here for nearly a week at Kirk's condo and I am very satisfied with the place. It's located in a central area close to the Kailua Boardwalk and a few resorts. He's also transparent and very communicative on the check in and check out processes. I highly recommend Kirk's place if you want to stay in Kona. Mahalo nui loa Kirk!

The beach gear was so much fun for our beach days, the location was great and close to pretty much everything we wanted to do on the trip, we loved our morning coffee on the lanai, and the decor was a plus, loved it all! Our stay here was perfect. Location was amazing right by the beach at a peaceful community, great for viewing sunrise/sunset. The place was just as pictured, very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

place was beautiful! spacious and very well kept. location was great just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of the strip down the road. host was responsive and helpful!
